whereas_o they_o be_v do_v on_o other_o day_n to_o enable_v we_o to_o labour_n they_o be_v to_o be_v do_v on_o the_o sabbath_n to_o strengthen_v we_o to_o holy_a duty_n these_o reason_n which_o we_o have_v lay_v down_o before_o amount_v to_o little_o less_o than_o a_o demonstration_n that_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o sabbath_n must_v be_v the_o rest_n of_o a_o whole_a day_n or_o the_o seven_o part_n of_o the_o week_n which_o we_o christian_n have_v both_o as_o much_o cause_n and_o as_o much_o need_n to_o consecrate_v unto_o god_n as_o ever_o the_o jew_n have_v in_o time_n past_a and_o that_o we_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n by_o god_n in_o six_o day_n a_o ground_n of_o faith_n which_o concern_v we_o as_o well_o as_o the_o jew_n wherefore_o see_v we_o have_v as_o great_a reason_n as_o great_a help_n and_o as_o great_a encouragement_n by_o the_o assurance_n of_o god_n blessing_n upon_o our_o six_o day_n labour_n to_o sanctify_v a_o entire_a day_n of_o holy_a rest_n unto_o god_n as_o the_o jew_n have_v and_o see_v the_o express_a word_n of_o the_o law_n appoint_v the_o whole_a day_n to_o be_v consecrate_v unto_o god_n why_o shall_v not_o we_o take_v ourselves_o to_o be_v as_o strong_o bind_v as_o the_o jew_n be_v to_o the_o keep_n of_o the_o holy_a rest_n of_o this_o whole_a day_n which_o we_o call_v the_o sabbath_n see_v there_o appear_v no_o sufficient_a reason_n why_o we_o shall_v judge_v any_o jot_n or_o title_n of_o this_o law_n

heathen_a man_n by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n guide_v themselves_o by_o second_o here_o be_v no_o convocation_n of_o the_o people_n law_n 3._o the_o people_n be_v not_o convene_v as_o they_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v to_o receive_v this_o law_n who_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v assemble_v to_o hear_v that_o law_n that_o they_o must_v all_o obey_v as_o they_o be_v not_o only_a exod._n 20._o by_o moses_n to_o the_o people_n other_o therefore_o there_o be_v who_o go_v not_o so_o far_o as_o to_o plead_v for_o the_o institution_n of_o the_o sabbath_n in_o this_o exod._n 16._o objection_n 21_o institution_n though_o the_o word_n amount_v to_o a_o institution_n yet_o they_o be_v a_o preparation_n to_o a_o follow_a institution_n but_o will_v have_v these_o word_n of_o moses_n to_o be_v only_o in_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o preparation_n to_o a_o institution_n which_o be_v to_o follow_v to_o this_o also_o we_o answer_v first_o that_o this_o opinion_n be_v press_v with_o the_o same_o difficulty_n that_o the_o former_a be_v if_o thing_n be_v due_o weigh_v answer_n commandment_n 1._o the_o same_o reason_n be_v against_o that_o too_o 2._o there_o be_v no_o like_a instance_n in_o give_v any_o other_o law_n 3._o what_o need_v it_o 4._o why_o be_v this_o ground_n omit_v in_o the_o four_o commandment_n second_o let_v they_o but_o give_v we_o one_o instance_n of_o any_o such_o kind_n of_o preparation_n use_v before_o the_o give_n of_o any_o other_o law_n three_o let_v they_o show_v we_o what_o need_v there_o be_v of_o any_o such_o preparation_n at_o all_o when_o the_o people_n be_v almost_o immediate_o after_o to_o be_v prepare_v in_o so_o solemn_a a_o manner_n for_o the_o receive_n of_o that_o and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o law_n last_o if_o the_o give_v of_o a_o double_a portion_n of_o manna_n on_o the_o six_o day_n or_o the_o cease_n of_o manna_n on_o the_o seven_o be_v such_o great_a mean_n to_o win_v credit_n to_o this_o new_a sabbath_n how_o be_v it_o weigh_v it_o will_v easy_o appear_v to_o any_o not_o forestall_v by_o prejudice_n that_o in_o this_o exod._n 16._o moses_n speak_v of_o the_o sabbath_n to_o the_o elder_n of_o israël_n know_v whence_o
