that_o whosoever_o shall_v bring_v in_o any_o proportion_n of_o ready_a money_n or_o plate_n or_o shall_v underwrite_v to_o furnish_v and_o maintain_v any_o number_n of_o horse_n horseman_n and_o arm_n for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o public_a peace_n and_o for_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o king_n and_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n from_o force_n and_o violence_n and_o to_o uphold_v the_o power_n and_o privilege_n of_o parliament_n according_a to_o his_o protestation_n it_o shall_v be_v hold_v a_o good_a and_o acceptable_a service_n to_o the_o common_a wealth_n and_o a_o testimony_n of_o his_o good_a affection_n to_o the_o protestant_a religion_n the_o law_n liberty_n and_o peace_n of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o to_o the_o parliament_n and_o privilege_n thereof_o and_o they_o for_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v a_o sufficient_a ground_n for_o the_o party_n so_o lend_v money_n or_o plate_n to_o demand_v the_o same_o again_o with_o the_o interest_n and_o maintain_v 7._o it_o be_v desire_v that_o all_o such_o as_o have_v their_o residence_n in_o or_o about_o london_n or_o within_o 80_o mile_n will_v bring_v in_o their_o money_n plate_n or_o horse_n within_o a_o fortnight_n after_o notice_n and_o they_o that_o dwell_v far_o off_o within_o three_o week_n 8._o and_o because_o every_o person_n may_v not_o be_v provide_v with_o present_a money_n or_o with_o horse_n or_o not_o have_v his_o plate_n with_o he_o which_o he_o mean_v to_o bring_v in_o and_o yet_o resolve_v to_o contribute_v his_o part_n within_o the_o time_n limit_v and_o that_o it_o be_v necessary_a it_o shall_v be_v present_o know_v what_o the_o provision_n will_v be_v for_o the_o effect_n of_o this_o great_a and_o important_a service_n it_o be_v order_v that_o the_o committee_n of_o either_o house_n appoint_v for_o that_o purpose_n respective_o shall_v receive_v the_o subscription_n of_o such_o member_n of_o each_o house_n as_o have_v not_o declare_v themselves_o in_o the_o house_n or_o be_v absent_a upon_o the_o public_a service_n or_o for_o their_o private_a occasion_n 2._o that_o the_o committee_n of_o london_n entrust_v with_o the_o militia_n shall_v receive_v the_o subscription_n in_o london_n and_o middlesex_n 3._o that_o some_o person_n nominate_v by_o the_o knight_n and_o burgess_n of_o each_o county_n and_o approve_v by_o both_o house_n shall_v be_v appoint_v to_o receive_v the_o subscription_n in_o the_o several_a county_n 9_o and_o last_o it_o be_v declare_v that_o whatsoever_o be_v bring_v in_o shall_v not_o at_o all_o be_v
