creditor_n be_v pay_v out_o of_o the_o bankrupt_n estate_n and_o the_o forfeiture_n any_o surplusage_n be_v it_o shall_v be_v by_o the_o commissioner_n divide_v between_o the_o queen_n her_o heir_n bring_v before_o they_o to_o be_v examine_v concern_v his_o estate_n 18._o if_o the_o bankrupt_a shall_v refuse_v to_o be_v examine_v the_o commissioner_n shall_v commit_v he_o until_o he_o conform_v or_o if_o be_v inform_v he_o commit_v perjury_n to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o the_o creditor_n to_o the_o value_n of_o 10l_n or_o more_o he_o shall_v be_v indict_v for_o the_o same_o and_o after_o office_n concern_v his_o freehold_n 3._o no_o spiritual_a person_n shall_v by_o himself_o or_o any_o other_o for_o his_o use_n buy_v to_o sell_v again_o any_o cattle_n victual_n or_o merchandise_n whatsoever_o in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v treble_a the_o value_n thereof_o to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n and_o every_o such_o bargain_n shall_v be_v void_a 4._o howbeit_o a_o spiritual_a person_n may_v buy_v horse_n mare_n cattle_n or_o other_o good_n for_o his_o necessary_a use_n and_o employment_n and_o in_o case_n they_o happen_v not_o to_o fit_v for_o his_o turn_n may_v sell_v they_o again_o so_o as_o this_o be_v do_v without_o fraud_n or_o covin_z 5._o also_o abbot_n prior_n abbess_n prioresses_n provost_n precedent_n and_o master_n of_o college_n and_o hospital_n and_o all_o other_o spiritual_a governor_n and_o governess_n of_o any_o house_n of_o religion_n land_n of_o the_o yearly_a value_n of_o 800_o mark_n or_o under_o may_v use_v and_o occupy_v so_o much_o thereof_o for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o their_o house_n as_o they_o or_o any_o of_o their_o predecessor_n have_v do_v within_o 100_o year_n last_o pass_v notwithstanding_o this_o act._n 6._o likewise_o spiritual_a person_n not_o have_v sufficient_a glebe_n or_o demesne_fw-la land_n in_o right_a of_o their_o church_n or_o house_n may_v notwithstanding_o this_o act_n for_o the_o only_a expense_n of_o their_o house_n and_o for_o their_o carriage_n and_o journey_n take_v in_o farm_n other_o land_n and_o buy_v and_o sell_v corn_n and_o cattle_n for_o the_o only_a manurance_n and_o pasturage_n of_o such_o farm_n so_o as_o if_o it_o be_v do_v for_o such_o purpose_n only_o without_o fraud_n or_o covin_z 7._o if_o any_o person_n have_v a_o benefice_n with_o cure_n of_o soul_n of_o the_o yearly_a value_n of_o 8_o l._n or_o above_o accept_v another_o with_o cure_n of_o soul_n and_o he_o be_v institute_v and_o induct_v in_o possession_n of_o the_o same_o immediate_o upon_o baron_n and_o every_o knight_n of_o the_o garter_n three_o every_o duchess_n marchioness_n countess_z and_o baroness_n be_v widow_n two_o the_o comptroller_n and_o treasurer_n of_o the_o king_n household_n the_o king_n secretary_n and_o dean_n of_o his_o chapel_n the_o king_n almoner_n and_o master_n of_o the_o roll_n each_o of_o they_o two_o and_o the_o chief_a justice_n of_o the_o king_n bench_n and_o warden_n of_o the_o cinque_fw-fr port_n each_o of_o they_o one_o and_o each_o of_o the_o say_a chaplain_n may_v purchase_v a_o licence_n or_o dispensation_n to_o keep_v two_o benefice_n 11._o likewise_o the_o brother_n and_o son_n of_o temporal_a lord_n bear_v in_o wedlock_n may_v purchase_v such_o licence_n or_o dispensation_n to_o keep_v as_o many_o benefice_n with_o cure_n as_o the_o chaplain_n of_o a_o duke_n or_o archbishop_n and_o the_o brethren_n and_o son_n of_o a_o knight_n bear_v in_o wedlock_n may_v keep_v two_o 12._o provide_v that_o the_o aforesaid_a chaplain_n must_v use_v at_o the_o consecration_n of_o bishop_n eight_o chaplain_n and_o bishop_n at_o give_v of_o order_n and_o consecration_n of_o church_n six_o every_o of_o they_o may_v have_v two_o chaplain_n above_o the_o number_n limit_v 15._o every_o spiritual_a person_n that_o be_v advance_v by_o colour_n of_o this_o act_n to_o keep_v more_o benefice_n with_o cure_n than_o be_v above_o limit_v shall_v incur_v the_o penalty_n above_o provide_v by_o this_o act._n 16._o every_o spiritual_a person_n promote_v to_o any_o arch-deaconary_a deanary_n or_o dignity_n in_o a_o monastery_n or_o cathedral_n church_n or_o other_o church_n conventual_a or_o collegiate_n or_o be_v benefice_v with_o any_o parsonage_n or_o vicarage_n shall_v be_v personal_o resident_a and_o abide_v upon_o his_o say_a dignity_n prebend_n or_o benefice_n or_o at_o one_o of_o they_o at_o least_o in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v for_o not_o be_v resident_a by_o the_o space_n of_o a_o month_n together_o or_o of_o 2_o month_n to_o be_v account_v at_o several_a time_n in_o one_o year_n 10_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n 17._o none_o shall_v obtain_v from_o rome_n or_o elsewhere_o any_o licence_n or_o dispensation_n for_o nonresidence_n in_o pain_n of_o 20_o l._n to_o be_v forfeit_v as_o aforesaid_a 18._o howbeit_o this_o act_n shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o spiritual_a person_n in_o the_o king_n service_n beyond_o sea_n or_o upon_o any_o pilgrimage_n beyond_o sea_n during_o the_o time_n that_o he_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o king_n service_n or_o upon_o the_o say_a pilgrimage_n nor_o to_o any_o scholar_n abide_v for_o study_n without_o fraud_n at_o any_o university_n within_o this_o realm_n nor_o to_o any_o of_o the_o king_n or_o queen_n chaplain_n in_o ordinary_a neither_o yet_o to_o any_o of_o the_o abovesaid_a chaplain_n which_o shall_v daily_o attend_v upon_o their_o lord_n or_o master_n household_n so_o long_o as_o they_o so_o attend_v without_o fraud_n nor_o to_o the_o master_n of_o the_o roll_n or_o dean_n of_o the_o arch_n the_o chancellor_n or_o commissary_n of_o any_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n the_o 12_o master_n of_o
