apostolical_a testimony_n and_o preach_v our_o saviour_n express_v they_o more_o purposed_o in_o that_o which_o we_o reckon_v for_o the_o eight_o particular_a of_o the_o deal_n of_o our_o saviour_n in_o this_o his_o last_o and_o most_o effectual_a remedy_n which_o he_o use_v against_o the_o unbelief_n of_o his_o disciple_n in_o this_o his_o five_o appearance_n question_n which_o be_v that_o answer_n it_o be_v that_o which_o the_o evangelist_n john_n have_v record_v in_o these_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n chap._n 20.23_o whosoever_n sin_n you_o remit_v they_o be_v remit_v unto_o they_o and_o whosoever_n sin_n you_o retain_v they_o be_v retain_v the_o powerful_a effect_n here_o promise_v and_o assure_v to_o the_o apostolical_a ministry_n explication_n explication_n be_v general_a like_v as_o their_o commission_n be_v for_o as_o they_o be_v authorise_v to_o preach_v to_o all_o nation_n repentance_n and_o remission_n of_o sin_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n so_o here_o our_o retain_v shall_v very_o be_v retain_v thus_o therefore_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o apostle_n ministry_n be_v assure_v to_o be_v as_o general_a as_o their_o commission_n be_v but_o the_o effect_n be_v not_o all_o of_o one_o sort_n or_o of_o like_a kind_n as_o we_o see_v for_o to_o some_o it_o be_v healthful_a and_o save_v to_o other_o it_o be_v not_o so_o but_o contrariwise_o hurtful_a and_o always_o that_o our_o obedience_n be_v as_o be_v answer_v out_o of_o a_o pure_a heart_n and_o of_o a_o good_a conscience_n and_o of_o faith_n unfeigned_a according_a to_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n assure_v ourselves_o that_o god_n have_v give_v we_o his_o spirit_n and_o namely_o duty_n the_o duty_n if_o we_o shall_v be_v careful_a to_o acquaint_v ourselves_o with_o prayer_n and_o supplication_n
