their_o condition_n of_o all_o the_o disease_n of_o the_o asian_a church_n this_o be_v the_o most_o dangerous_a that_o the_o church_n of_o laodicea_n be_v sick_a withal_o who_o think_v themselves_o rich_a and_o increase_v in_o wealth_n and_o need_v nothing_o no_o more_o knowledge_n no_o more_o grace_n whereas_o indeed_o they_o be_v miserable_a poor_a and_o blind_a and_o naked_a the_o very_a heavy_a and_o untoward_a in_o holy_a performance_n as_o before_o o_o this_o be_v a_o fearful_a sign_n of_o a_o spiritual_a consumption_n and_o this_o we_o may_v fear_v will_v follow_v in_o the_o end_n that_o god_n at_o last_o will_v be_v provoke_v to_o give_v such_o a_o one_o over_o to_o hardness_n of_o heart_n and_o to_o reprobate_a sense_n that_o have_v make_v no_o better_o a_o use_n of_o the_o grace_n that_o have_v be_v offer_v unto_o they_o and_o last_o of_o all_o it_o may_v serve_v for_o matter_n of_o comfort_n and_o consolation_n unto_o the_o godly_a that_o be_v on_o the_o mend_a hand_n though_o they_o find_v many_o defect_n and_o imperfection_n in_o they_o and_o be_v often_o draw_v aside_o through_o their_o own_o corruption_n yet_o the_o increase_n in_o knowledge_n zeal_n love_n and_o the_o like_a grace_n prove_v the_o truth_n thereof_o in_o the_o heart_n byr_o how_o shall_v i_o know_v whether_o i_o increase_v in_o grace_n yea_o or_o no_o quest_n thou_o may_v know_v it_o by_o these_o sign_n answ_n first_o by_o thy_o daily_a increase_n in_o humility_n for_o god_n resist_v the_o proud_a but_o give_v grace_n to_o the_o humble_a humility_n be_v a_o mother-grace_n as_o we_o thrive_v in_o it_o we_o prosper_v in_o all_o other_o grace_n whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a where_o pride_n grow_v it_o be_v like_o a_o noisome_a weed_n in_o a_o garden_n true_a grace_n do_v there_o wither_v and_o the_o best_a plant_n can_v never_o prosper_v second_o it_o be_v discern_v by_o the_o conscionable_a use_n of_o the_o mean_n by_o the_o which_o grace_n be_v daily_o more_o and_o more_o nourish_v and_o increase_v in_o us._n such_o as_o be_v the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n the_o conscionable_a use_n of_o the_o sacrament_n prayer_n with_o the_o conscionable_a performance_n of_o these_o and_o the_o like_a holy_a duty_n both_o public_a and_o priunte_a with_o a_o delight_n therein_o this_o be_v thy_o case_n thou_o need_v no_o more_o question_n the_o state_n of_o thy_o soul_n all_o this_o while_n than_o the_o state_n of_o that_o body_n that_o have_v a_o good_a appetite_n to_o meat_n and_o withal_o a_o good_a digestion_n three_o it_o may_v be_v discern_v in_o we_o by_o the_o taste_n and_o relish_v we_o have_v in_o heavenly_a thing_n with_o the_o delight_n in_o god_n people_n for_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n increase_v in_o the_o edification_n of_o itself_o through_o
