more_o so_o then_o gather_v up_o the_o point_n if_o they_o seek_v out_o of_o season_n out_o of_o false_a ground_n and_o to_o a_o wrong_a end_n no_o marvel_n then_o though_o they_o call_v earnest_o and_o seek_v vehement_o and_o yet_o god_n answer_v not_o nor_o be_v find_v of_o they_o according_a to_o their_o desire_n the_o first_o use_n be_v for_o terror_n be_v it_o so_o that_o a_o man_n may_v seek_v earnest_o and_o yet_o never_o obtain_v mercy_n than_o this_o be_v able_a to_o shake_v and_o sink_v a_o company_n of_o soul_n of_o carnal_a wretch_n oh_o the_o lamentable_a condition_n of_o a_o company_n of_o poor_a creature_n that_o live_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o the_o church_n and_o therefore_o it_o fall_v sore_o upon_o those_o creature_n that_o make_v a_o scoff_n at_o pray_v and_o hear_v all_o ignorant_a and_o delude_a person_n that_o know_v not_o how_o to_o pray_v and_o seek_v to_o the_o lord_n for_o grace_n and_o mercy_n i_o think_v the_o former_a truth_n be_v sufficient_a to_o dash_v all_o the_o carnal_a hope_n that_o can_v creep_v into_o the_o mind_n of_o such_o creature_n therefore_o take_v notice_n of_o the_o desperate_a condition_n wherein_o they_o lie_v reason_n thus_o be_v it_o so_o that_o those_o that_o seek_v the_o lord_n shall_v never_o find_v he_o then_o what_o shall_v become_v of_o i_o that_o never_o cry_v at_o all_o nay_o that_o loath_a prayer_n and_o reject_v the_o use_n of_o god_n ordinance_n and_o despise_v the_o mean_n of_o grace_n and_o salvation_n whereby_o i_o must_v seek_v and_o obtain_v mercy_n if_o ever_o i_o have_v it_o if_o they_o that_o do_v seek_v attain_v not_o than_o i_o that_o never_o seek_v my_o condition_n be_v desperate_o lamentable_a fearful_o irrecoverable_a why_o why_o my_o heart_n rise_v at_o such_o person_n i_o therefore_o you_o shall_v be_v condemn_v and_o never_o partake_v thereof_o nay_o what_o will_v become_v of_o a_o company_n of_o carnal_a wretch_n that_o set_v themselves_o with_o desperate_a say_v i_o can_v maintain_v my_o family_n by_o pore_a on_o a_o book_n how_o then_o do_v thou_o get_v thy_o live_n if_o not_o by_o pray_v and_o read_v thou_o get_v thy_o live_n but_o a_o curse_n with_o it_o if_o thou_o get_v without_o these_o mean_n thou_o may_v get_v wealth_n but_o god_n will_v curse_v thou_o with_o it_o and_o thou_o shall_v go_v down_o to_o hell_n and_o thy_o wealth_n with_o thou_o why_o reason_n thus_o with_o yourselves_o i_o can_v so_o much_o as_o buy_v cattle_n but_o i_o must_v seek_v in_o the_o fair_n i_o can_v provide_v food_n for_o my_o family_n but_o i_o must_v go_v to_o the_o market_n and_o what_o a_o wretched_a heart_n have_v i_o that_o think_v to_o get_v mercy_n and_o grace_n and_o salvation_n and_o yet_o he_o in_o my_o base_a lust_n and_o never_o stir_v a_o foot_n to_o seek_v the_o lord_n and_o call_v upon_o his_o name_n how_o be_v my_o judgement_n blind_v and_o my_o soul_n cozen_v â—hinke_v of_o it_o if_o those_o that_o offer_v fair_a for_o mercy_n and_o grace_n by_o many_o prayer_n and_o desire_n and_o endeavour_n if_o they_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n fall_v short_a and_o never_o come_v to_o heaven_n what_o will_v become_v of_o i_o that_o never_o look_v after_o the_o thing_n of_o grace_n and_o salvation_n sure_o if_o the_o lord_n be_v in_o heaven_n i_o shall_v never_o come_v there_o the_o last_o use_n be_v this_o you_o will_v say_v what_o shall_v we_o do_v if_o seek_v will_v not_o get_v it_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n than_o we_o have_v as_o good_a cast_v away_o all_o and_o do_v nothing_o as_o get_v nothing_o by_o what_o we_o do_v therefore_o the_o last_o use_n be_v a_o word_n of_o exhortation_n we_o be_v to_o be_v entreat_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n to_o do_v not_o only_o what_o these_o seeker_n do_v but_o go_v further_o and_o do_v more_o this_o be_v no_o argument_n because_o they_o obtain_v not_o mercy_n by_o seek_v therefore_o we_o shall_v not_o seek_v therefore_o seek_v after_o another_o manner_n so_o seek_v and_o pray_v that_o you_o may_v find_v benefit_n thereby_o and_o comfort_v therein_o unto_o your_o soul_n in_o the_o 13._o of_o luke_n 24._o this_o be_v the_o use_n
