they_o with_o such_o kind_n of_o people_n be_v popery_n sâ—uffed_v and_o â—here_o be_v no_o small_a number_n of_o they_o beside_o in_o other_o place_n whereof_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o world_n be_v full_a of_o curse_a people_n and_o that_o the_o number_n of_o the_o bless_a be_v very_o small_a for_o of_o ten_o thousand_o hardly_o shall_v one_o be_v find_v that_o will_v take_v hold_n of_o this_o tree_n of_o life_n &_o retain_v she_o to_o refresh_v himself_o with_o her_o fruit_n and_o to_o enjoy_v her_o revenue_n the_o world_n be_v wonderful_o out_o of_o taste_n it_o have_v rather_o eat_v world_n before_o we_o when_o it_o endevour_v to_o induce_v we_o to_o put_v our_o trust_n in_o god_n and_o also_o when_o we_o make_v confession_n of_o our_o faith_n we_o confess_v that_o god_n be_v moreover_o when_o we_o see_v the_o earth_n so_o steadfast_o settle_v and_o that_o it_o uphold_v great_a building_n and_o high_a mountain_n without_o any_o remove_n that_o it_o bear_v both_o great_a and_o small_a tree_n and_o bring_v forth_o all_o green_a thing_n for_o food_n to_o man_n and_o beast_n that_o the_o heaven_n with_o their_o host_n do_v continual_o keep_v their_o course_n without_o shake_v and_o weariness_n that_o out_o of_o the_o deep_n do_v rise_v the_o spring_n of_o water_n from_o whence_o the_o well_n river_n pond_n and_o sea_n do_v come_v for_o the_o necessity_n both_o of_o it_o be_v god_n only_o that_o work_v by_o his_o wisdom_n though_o he_o will_v have_v that_o man_n shall_v labour_v and_o that_o he_o use_v man_n as_o his_o instrument_n and_o therefore_o with_o knowledge_n we_o must_v confess_v o_o lord_n how_o manifold_a be_v thy_o work_n in_o wisdom_n have_v thou_o make_v they_o
near_o slip_v for_o i_o fret_v at_o the_o foolish_a when_o i_o see_v the_o prosperity_n of_o the_o wicked_a again_o loe_o these_o be_v the_o wicked_a yet_o prosper_v they_o always_o and_o increase_v in_o riches_n the_o elect_a and_o faithful_a one_o have_v such_o like_a temptation_n but_o to_o the_o end_n that_o they_o shall_v take_v heed_n from_o be_v overcome_v with_o they_o solomon_n give_v also_o the_o five_o commandment_n of_o mercy_n say_v be_v not_o envious_a for_o the_o wicked_a man_n therefore_o if_o we_o will_v follow_v mercy_n we_o must_v put_v far_o from_o we_o the_o desire_n and_o affection_n to_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o envious_a man_n and_o the_o man_n that_o suffer_v himself_o to_o be_v carry_v about_o by_o his_o lust_n and_o run_v after_o they_o with_o might_n and_o main_a and_o care_v not_o what_o he_o think_v or_o say_v or_o do_v whether_o right_a or_o wrong_n so_o that_o he_o may_v come_v to_o the_o end_n of_o his_o enterprise_n and_o because_o there_o be_v some_o that_o make_v themselves_o believe_v that_o they_o will_v not_o be_v like_o the_o envious_a and_o yet_o follow_v their_o manner_n to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o shall_v not_o deceive_v ourselves_o with_o they_o solomon_n do_v warn_v we_o to_o choose_v none_o of_o their_o way_n whereunto_o we_o must_v obey_v nothing_o decline_v from_o the_o right_a way_n albeit_o we_o find_v therein_o great_a encumbrance_n and_o that_o we_o must_v suffer_v much_o even_o to_o the_o uttermost_a after_o the_o feel_n of_o the_o flesh_n all_o those_o be_v like_a unto_o these_o envious_a man_n god_n and_o so_o go_v to_o destruction_n as_o they_o deserve_v but_o to_o the_o end_n that_o be_v humble_v &_o as_o it_o be_v in_o despair_n of_o themselves_o they_o may_v take_v courage_n and_o not_o remain_v under_o the_o burden_n of_o despair_n the_o holy_a scripture_n for_o their_o comfort_n add_v the_o promise_n against_o the_o threaten_a as_o also_o solomon_n use_v it_o to_o the_o same_o faithful_o behave_v we_o towards_o our_o neighbour_n when_o we_o be_v slack_a and_o negligent_a to_o pay_v our_o duty_n or_o that_o we_o labour_v to_o tread_v they_o under_o foot_n or_o to_o deceive_v in_o any_o matter_n whatsoever_o it_o be_v in_o all_o estate_n as_o we_o prove_v by_o experience_n there_o be_v false_a balance_n as_o between_o merchant_n citizen_n handicrafte_n man_n and_o labourer_n but_o the_o most_o hurtful_a be_v they_o which_o be_v enclose_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o false_a teacher_n who_o by_o fair_a word_n and_o flatter_a speech_n deceive_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o simple_a and_o innocent_a after_o these_o may_v be_v set_v the_o same_o of_o wicked_a magistrate_n which_o be_v place_v in_o the_o seat_n of_o god_n who_o be_v righteous_a and_o yet_o their_o house_n be_v fill_v with_o the_o spoil_n of_o the_o poor_a now_o the_o perfection_n that_o be_v require_v of_o we_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v not_o imagine_v nor_o devise_v any_o evil_a against_o our_o neighbour_n that_o we_o shall_v not_o labour_v to_o become_v scotfree_a to_o their_o hurt_n but_o that_o in_o simplicity_n &_o uprightness_n of_o conscience_n we_o shall_v procure_v their_o wealth_n overturn_v all_o their_o enterprise_n &_o destroy_v they_o and_o so_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o pure_a truth_n shall_v obtain_v victory_n and_o be_v permanent_a whereas_o contrariwise_o the_o adversary_n shall_v perish_v 13_o the_o slothful_a body_n say_v there_o be_v a_o lion_n without_o i_o shall_v be_v slay_v in_o the_o street_n one_o may_v wonder_v at_o solomon_n that_o so_o often_o &_o in_o so_o sundry_a manner_n speak_v of_o the_o slothful_a but_o the_o cause_n well_o understand_v one_o ought_v not_o much_o to_o wonder_v for_o the_o number_n of_o the_o slothful_a be_v great_a
