beside_o 6_o as_o touch_v ourselves_o advisement_n so_o we_o like_v wise_a â—ven_n from_o the_o high_a unto_o the_o low_a be_v to_o gather_v ourselves_o to_o like_a advisement_n the_o matter_n be_v of_o that_o nature_n as_o that_o chief_o it_o concern_v our_o elder_n also_o but_o yet_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o this_o land_n likewise_o our_o elder_n it_o do_v chief_o concern_v not_o only_o because_o our_o sin_n for_o which_o this_o hand_n of_o god_n be_v upon_o we_o be_v of_o that_o nature_n that_o may_v seem_v most_o of_o all_o to_o descend_v from_o they_o and_o for_o that_o their_o estate_n likewise_o if_o they_o do_v not_o repent_v be_v like_a to_o be_v near_o to_o the_o great_a fall_n but_o also_o because_o that_o they_o can_v best_o both_o call_v in_o the_o people_n unto_o repentance_n and_o amend_v these_o fault_n that_o do_v provoke_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n against_o we_o general_o it_o concern_v all_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o this_o land_n likewise_o because_o that_o all_o one_o way_n or_o other_o have_v in_o such_o sort_n offend_v as_o that_o we_o all_o and_o every_o one_o of_o we_o have_v just_o deserve_v this_o kind_n of_o chastisement_n and_o if_o we_o do_v not_o by_o this_o gentle_a warning_n gather_v ourselves_o to_o repentance_n now_o then_o may_v we_o pull_v down_o a_o heavy_a judgement_n upon_o we_o and_o that_o not_o only_a when_o none_o of_o we_o all_o do_v grow_v to_o repentance_n but_o also_o because_o that_o by_o the_o impenitency_n of_o some_o few_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n be_v sometime_o restrain_v to_o all_o general_o and_o unless_o we_o be_v dispose_v to_o hearken_v both_o the_o high_a and_o low_a together_o we_o may_v not_o only_o hinder_v ourselves_o of_o that_o relief_n of_o our_o present_a necessity_n that_o otherwise_o we_o may_v obtain_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n but_o beside_o that_o we_o further_o provoke_v he_o by_o so_o great_a contempt_n of_o his_o merciful_a call_n to_o many_o be_v sore_o distress_v herewith_o and_o can_v be_v ignorant_a but_o that_o our_o sin_n that_o have_v provoke_v his_o wrath_n against_o we_o be_v many_o and_o great_a how_o may_v we_o account_v readiness_n to_o be_v entreat_v of_o we_o which_o also_o we_o may_v see_v in_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n a_o great_a deal_n more_o clear_o than_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n when_o it_o shine_v the_o clear_a of_o all_o we_o may_v come_v with_o good_a heart_n unto_o he_o and_o in_o full_a assurance_n for_o to_o obtain_v his_o gracious_a favour_n how_o beit_v we_o must_v know_v therewith_o all_o that_o the_o matter_n be_v very_o hard_a hard_o i_o say_v but_o yet_o not_o doubtful_a so_o that_o although_o we_o may_v not_o doubt_v it_o yet_o must_v we_o make_v sure_a that_o we_o labour_v be_v infect_v withal_o although_o this_o our_o prophet_n do_v not_o name_v they_o as_o it_o seem_v upon_o such_o reason_n as_o before_o be_v declaerd_v yet_o both_o they_o may_v be_v easy_o gather_v out_o of_o the_o history_n of_o that_o time_n and_o it_o be_v good_a that_o we_o herein_o have_v some_o eye_n unto_o they_o that_o so_o we_o may_v the_o more_o to_o our_o edify_a apply_v this_o call_n of_o the_o prophet_n unto_o ourselves_o and_o the_o history_n of_o this_o present_a time_n be_v set_v forth_o unto_o we_o sufficient_o at_o least_o to_o this_o purpose_n both_o in_o the_o history_n of_o the_o king_n of_o judah_n and_o in_o certain_a of_o the_o prophet_n beside_o king_n out_o of_o the_o story_n of_o the_o king_n but_o in_o the_o story_n of_o the_o king_n of_o judah_n there_o be_v but_o two_o of_o those_o their_o king_n on_o who_o we_o may_v rely_v for_o this_o matter_n which_o be_v vzziah_n and_o jotham_n his_o son_n to_o the_o time_n of_o vzziah_n we_o have_v recourse_n because_o it_o be_v find_v to_o be_v the_o time_n whereunto_o his_o prophecy_n do_v chief_o belong_v as_o before_o be_v declare_v 2._o sect._n 2._o to_o jotham_n likewise_o not_o only_o because_o he_o succeed_v next_o and_o so_o belong_v very_o much_o to_o that_o time_n likewise_o but_o because_o that_o he_o 19_o he_o 2._o chho_o 26_o 19_o bear_v the_o sway_n in_o his_o father_n day_n after_o that_o once_o his_o father_n be_v strike_v with_o leprosy_n in_o both_o which_o that_o we_o may_v the_o better_o find_v out_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o people_n in_o their_o day_n and_o so_o consequent_o what_o it_o be_v wherein_o they_o chief_o offend_v we_o be_v to_o consider_v of_o what_o disposition_n they_o be_v themselves_o &_o so_o shall_v we_o find_v in_o some_o reasonable_a but_o much_o neglect_v that_o be_v to_o be_v look_v for_o of_o they_o for_o though_o they_o do_v not_o give_v themselves_o to_o idolatry_n as_o diverse_a other_o of_o their_o ancestor_n have_v do_v nor_o yet_o inhibit_v the_o service_n of_o god_n by_o the_o law_n appoint_v yet_o be_v they_o but_o weak_a professor_n of_o religion_n themselves_o and_o tolerate_v much_o corruption_n beside_o among_o their_o people_n vzziah_n though_o he_o seek_v the_o lord_n and_o do_v upright_o in_o comparison_n of_o many_o other_o yet_o notwithstanding_o have_v not_o his_o heart_n perfect_a and_o plain_o declare_v himself_o to_o be_v very_o ignorant_a or_o at_o least_o very_a careless_a of_o a_o know_v and_o a_o principal_a point_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n he_o be_v such_o a_o husband_n that_o it_o be_v less_o marvel_v though_o he_o be_v but_o a_o mean_a divine_a jotham_n his_o son_n build_v a_o fair_a gate_n unto_o the_o temple_n but_o himself_o do_v not_o enter_v into_o it_o though_o he_o lay_v open_v a_o way_n unto_o other_o and_o that_o in_o fair_a and_o honourable_a manner_n yet_o himself_n do_v take_v no_o benefit_n of_o it_o it_o be_v well_o that_o he_o make_v a_o way_n to_o other_o but_o it_o have_v be_v much_o better_o if_o he_o have_v take_v the_o use_n thereof_o to_o himself_o likewise_o and_o as_o for_o the_o people_n it_o be_v plain_o set_v down_o that_o in_o the_o day_n of_o both_o these_o they_o have_v the_o high_a place_n and_o worship_v there_o which_o be_v clean_o contrary_a unto_o the_o rule_n that_o the_o law_n praescribe_v but_o see_v that_o we_o have_v so_o evident_a testimony_n of_o the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o one_o and_o coldness_n of_o the_o other_o it_o be_v no_o great_a marvel_n if_o neither_o of_o they_o both_o do_v much_o regard_n it_o the_o one_o because_o it_o may_v well_o be_v that_o the_o law_n of_o god_n or_o at_o least_o that_o it_o be_v not_o of_o so_o great_a importance_n the_o other_o for_o that_o himself_o care_v so_o little_a as_o he_o do_v to_o frequent_v the_o temple_n he_o can_v less_o mislike_v of_o other_o that_o come_v there_o as_o little_a as_o he_o but_o elsewhere_o bestow_v the_o devotion_n they_o have_v it_o may_v be_v also_o that_o first_o he_o himself_o and_o then_o the_o people_n together_o with_o he_o refuse_v the_o temple_n and_o worship_v elsewhere_o because_o that_o vzziah_n his_o father_n be_v in_o such_o sort_n strike_v there_o for_o go_v to_o far_o for_o such_o be_v the_o untowardnes_n or_o forwardness_n rather_o of_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n that_o if_o they_o may_v not_o do_v as_o they_o will_v neither_o will_v they_o in_o any_o wise_a be_v bring_v to_o do_v as_o they_o shall_v home_n in_o civil_a matter_n they_o provide_v well_o against_o the_o enemy_n but_o be_v grievous_a to_o their_o own_o people_n at_o home_n in_o matter_n that_o concern_v their_o civil_a estate_n first_o that_o they_o both_o be_v so_o well_o give_v but_o especial_o the_o father_n to_o fortify_v jerusalem_n and_o before_o hand_n to_o provide_v and_o to_o have_v in_o a_o readiness_n such_o force_n and_o furniture_n as_o be_v meet_v for_o the_o needful_a defence_n of_o the_o state_n it_o be_v not_o only_o very_o commendable_a and_o honourable_a to_o themselves_o but_o also_o to_o great_a use_n to_o the_o church_n of_o god_n for_o jerusalem_n have_v then_o enemy_n enough_o and_o the_o people_n of_o god_n have_v otherwise_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o they_o and_o yet_o because_o that_o otherwise_o religion_n be_v no_o better_o regard_v thereby_o it_o appear_v that_o this_o tend_v not_o so_o much_o to_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n as_o either_o to_o their_o own_o honour_n or_o to_o the_o maintenance_n of_o their_o earthly_a estate_n sort_n people_n of_o god_n but_o unto_o those_o that_o profess_v the_o truth_n and_o sincere_o hold_v it_o a_o place_n of_o great_a honour_n and_o joy_n a_o crown_n of_o glory_n a_o mountain_n of_o inaestimable_a high_a renown_n and_o no_o valley_n at_o all_o of_o grief_n or_o reproach_n grape_n as_o stalk_n of_o corn_n and_o ripe_a grape_n but_o when_o the_o lord_n compare_v they_o further_o to_o the_o corn_n of_o the_o field_n and_o the_o cluster_n of_o grape_n in_o the_o press_n whereof_o the_o one_o be_v so_o easy_o cut_v down_o with_o a_o sith_o or_o may_v well_o be_v get_v by_o whole_a handes-full_a at_o once_o with_o no_o more_o but_o a_o sickle_n the_o other_o be_v once_o come_v to_o that_o ripeness_n that_o they_o be_v meet_v to_o come_v to_o the_o press_n break_v in_o sunder_o and_o bleed_v of_o themselves_o without_o any_o tread_v who_o be_v there_o may_v doubt_v but_o that_o in_o such_o case_n even_o the_o best_a strength_n that_o they_o have_v be_v nothing_o roar_v out_o of_o zion_n &_o in_o such_o sort_n to_o give_v forth_o his_o voice_n in_o jerusalem_n that_o the_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v therewith_o move_v already_o and_o what_o reason_n be_v there_o why_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v as_o seemly_a for_o his_o honour_n now_o to_o be_v in_o these_o day_n both_o a_o refuge_n and_o a_o strength_n to_o his_o people_n as_o heretofore_o it_o have_v 21._o understand_v 3_o 21._o that_o he_o will_v thére_o cleanse_v those_o who_o blood_n before_o he_o have_v not_o cleanse_v that_o so_o they_o may_v know_v that_o although_o they_o have_v cast_v themselves_o out_o of_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n before_o while_o their_o corruption_n of_o nature_n do_v over-rule_v they_o yet_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v so_o now_o when_o that_o corruption_n of_o nature_n be_v in_o a_o manner_n abolish_v unto_o they_o and_o so_o the_o cause_n of_o offence_n remoove_v to_o confirm_v and_o settle_v they_o so_o much_o the_o better_a in_o the_o certainty_n of_o that_o promise_n he_o 21._o he_o 3_o 21._o give_v they_o to_o understand_v that_o he_o the_o lord_n will_v dwell_v in_o zion_n that_o so_o they_o may_v the_o rather_o assure_v themselves_o not_o only_o that_o their_o blood_n be_v cleanse_v when_o he_o vouchsafe_v to_o dwell_v among_o they_o but_o also_o see_v that_o he_o have_v choose_v it_o to_o be_v his_o mansion_n or_o dwellinghouse_n that_o he_o will_v also_o uphold_a it_o &_o not_o suffer_v it_o to_o come_v to_o the_o ground_n or_o as_o we_o say_v to_o fall_v on_o our_o head_n 25_o which_o also_o that_o we_o may_v the_o better_o apply_v to_o our_o own_o proper_a use_n likewise_o that_o we_o also_o upon_o our_o repentance_n may_v look_v for_o this_o blessing_n likewise_o first_o whereas_o the_o time_n that_o hére_o be_v appoint_v be_v the_o self_n same_o that_o now_o we_o be_v in_o be_v under_o the_o kingdom_n and_o manifestation_n of_o jesus_n christ_n whatsoever_o blessing_n be_v promise_v here_o or_o what_o so_o ever_o good_a estate_n of_o the_o people_n be_v here_o set_v down_o all_o that_o may_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o to_o be_v our_o own_o in_o that_o course_n that_o before_o be_v praescribe_v for_o the_o more_o strict_o that_o any_o thing_n be_v restrain_v unto_o a_o special_a time_n the_o more_o may_v those_o that_o be_v of_o that_o time_n assure_v themselves_o in_o théir_a time_n to_o see_v the_o performance_n of_o it_o whereas_o those_o blessing_n therefore_o concern_v the_o land_n wherein_o they_o dwell_v as_o if_o we_o go_v but_o only_o to_o the_o outward_a letter_n yet_o in_o this_o or_o any_o such_o like_a time_n of_o scarcity_n upon_o our_o repentance_n and_o turn_n to_o god_n we_o may_v hope_v to_o obtain_v our_o needful_a relief_n in_o plentiful_a manner_n so_o if_o we_o pass_v on_o to_o the_o inward_a sense_n that_o this_o place_n and_o many_o other_o such_o like_a do_v yield_v then_o may_v we_o further_o gather_v that_o whereas_o that_o land_n be_v a_o figure_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n we_o need_v not_o to_o doubt_v but_o that_o be_v under_o the_o gospel_n now_o wé_v also_o be_v near_o unto_o all_o those_o blessing_n that_o by_o this_o or_o such_o like_a our_o bodily_a sustenance_n and_o then_o much_o more_o in_o spiritual_a grace_n sustenance_n in_o bodily_a sustenance_n for_o as_o touch_v our_o bodily_a sustenance_n we_o also_o may_v hope_v and_o all_o other_o beside_o that_o do_v apperteine_a to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n that_o he_o of_o his_o goodness_n and_o wont_a mercy_n will_v rather_o bring_v to_o pass_v that_o even_o the_o most_o barren_a place_n we_o have_v shall_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n in_o plentiful_a manner_n then_o that_o we_o shall_v want_v thing_n needful_a to_o pass_v through_o this_o our_o pilgrimage_n here_o in_o the_o fear_n and_o service_n
lightness_n and_o vanity_n by_o the_o peace_n and_o wealth_n that_o god_n have_v give_v we_o and_o for_o that_o we_o have_v taste_v so_o little_a of_o the_o rod_n as_o now_o for_o a_o good_a time_n we_o have_v do_v that_o it_o be_v less_o marvel_n if_o hardly_o we_o can_v grow_v to_o any_o such_o earnest_n and_o public_a sorrow_n or_o so_o much_o as_o like_v of_o the_o motion_n when_o it_o be_v make_v but_o in_o this_o case_n also_o it_o be_v good_a to_o remember_v that_o the_o wisdom_n of_o a_o christian_a ought_v to_o be_v such_o as_o that_o whatsoever_o be_v a_o offence_n or_o hindrance_n great_a &_o manifold_a sin_n or_o of_o this_o gentle_a hand_n of_o god_n that_o for_o the_o same_o be_v cast_v upon_o we_o if_o we_o have_v any_o hearty_a desire_n to_o be_v partaker_n of_o those_o great_a and_o inaestimable_a mercy_n of_o god_n a_o more_o general_a and_o a_o further_a fruition_n of_o his_o eternal_a truth_n and_o so_o comfortable_a security_n from_o all_o our_o enemy_n what_o be_v there_o then_o that_o with_o any_o colour_n may_v stay_v we_o from_o that_o which_o the_o prophet_n do_v here_o require_v or_o if_o in_o heart_n we_o consent_v unto_o it_o why_o shall_v not_o we_o may_v hereafter_o likewise_o throughout_o our_o whole_a life_n be_v so_o careful_a in_o all_o thing_n to_o advance_v thy_o glory_n and_o in_o nothing_o to_o annoy_v our_o neighbour_n for_o the_o better_n of_o ourselves_o in_o worldly_a matter_n but_o in_o all_o thing_n to_o uphold_v his_o good_a estate_n the_o best_a that_o we_o may_v that_o neither_o we_o provoke_v thou_o again_o to_o strike_v we_o for_o these_o offence_n neither_o yet_o occasion_n it_o to_o appear_v that_o now_o thou_o have_v withdraw_v this_o thy_o hand_n from_o we_o over_o soon_o and_o because_o it_o please_v thou_o to_o put_v we_o in_o hope_n of_o much_o great_a mercy_n also_o and_o vouchsafe_v we_o those_o other_o mercy_n also_o then_o only_o such_o relief_n of_o these_o our_o bodily_a necessity_n and_o these_o be_v the_o day_n whereunto_o those_o mercy_n of_o â—â—ine_n be_v promise_v we_o likewise_o beseech_v thou_o in_o most_o humble_a manner_n to_o vouchsafe_v we_o that_o further_a manifestation_n of_o thy_o truth_n and_o that_o notable_a protection_n from_o our_o enemy_n also_o that_o not_o only_o the_o likely_a sort_n of_o thy_o people_n but_o the_o mean_a likewise_o may_v both_o know_v and_o glorify_v thou_o and_o that_o we_o all_o be_v ever_o preserve_v from_o those_o that_o hate_v we_o for_o thy_o name_n sake_n in_o that_o our_o safety_n may_v employ_v ourselves_o the_o best_a that_o we_o can_v to_o the_o service_n of_o thou_o and_o ever_o praise_v thy_o holy_a name_n for_o these_o thy_o mercy_n our_o enemy_n o_o lord_n have_v rule_v over_o we_o very_o long_o already_o and_o they_o of_o long_o have_v do_v unto_o ú_n even_o as_o those_o other_o do_v unto_o thém_n they_o have_v take_v away_o our_o silver_n and_o gold_n and_o whatsoever_o jewel_n we_o have_v beside_o of_o spiritual_a grace_n in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o those_o have_v they_o carry_v into_o the_o temple_n of_o their_o own_o proper_a idol_n and_o wickedness_n ascribe_v all_o unto_o they_o ourselves_o also_o they_o have_v not_o spare_v but_o have_v do_v with_o we_o whatsoever_o they_o will_v not_o only_o the_o boy_n but_o the_o honourable_a also_o and_o ancient_a of_o year_n have_v they_o give_v for_o a_o harlot_n and_o not_o only_o the_o girl_n but_o godly_a matron_n and_o the_o chaste_a soul_n of_o thy_o faithful_a people_n have_v they_o give_v for_o a_o cup_n of_o wine_n and_o for_o their_o belly_n and_o not_o so_o content_a they_o have_v likewise_o in_o such_o sort_n sell_v we_o as_o most_o may_v avail_v they_o to_o send_v we_o away_o far_o from_o our_o country_n that_o afterward_o we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a for_o to_o return_v thither_o again_o but_o thou_o o_o lord_n thou_o self_n have_v see_v it_o and_o know_v well_o enough_o that_o they_o have_v be_v so_o grievous_a unto_o we_o not_o so_o much_o for_o any_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v do_v though_o in_o truth_n we_o be_v most_o wretched_a sinner_n and_o have_v deserve_v much_o more_o than_o it_o as_o in_o despite_n of_o thy_o holy_a truth_n and_o of_o a_o inward_a hatred_n to_o thou_o be_v it_o therefore_o thy_o gracious_a pleasure_n to_o undo_v whatsoever_o they_o have_v do_v and_o to_o gather_v we_o together_o again_o from_o all_o those_o place_n whereinto_o we_o be_v disperse_v by_o they_o and_o as_o théy_v have_v sell_v we_o a_o far_a óf_n never_o to_o see_v our_o country_n again_o so_o we_o beseech_v thou_o that_o so_o many_o of_o they_o as_o in_o thy_o secret_a election_n belong_v unto_o thou_o thou_o also_o will_v in_o like_a manner_n sell_v over_o not_o unto_o we_o but_o to_o thy_o holy_a truth_n ever_o to_o have_v they_o in_o full_a possession_n and_o never_o to_o suffer_v they_o for_o to_o return_v unto_o their_o wont_a wander_n again_o and_o where_o as_o heretofore_o they_o have_v already_o so_o much_o praevail_v against_o thy_o people_n now_o be_v it_o thy_o pleasure_n to_o bring_v they_o under_o and_o daily_o more_o and_o more_o to_o enlarge_v the_o safety_n of_o thy_o peculiar_a people_n against_o they_o all_o we_o grant_v o_o lord_n the_o thing_n we_o desire_v be_v very_o great_a but_o it_o hehoove_v thy_o people_n shall_v know_v thy_o abundant_a mercy_n and_o thy_o enemy_n also_o the_o invincible_a power_n of_o thy_o mighty_a hand_n grant_v we_o therefore_o these_o thing_n we_o beseech_v thou_o through_o jesus_n christ_n thy_o son_n our_o lord_n to_o who_o with_o thou_o and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o of_o right_n appertain_v be_v ascribe_v all_o thanks_n honour_n and_o glory_n for_o ever_o and_o ever_o amen_n finis_fw-la
