godly_a and_o the_o ungodly_a for_o the_o godly_a drink_n the_o cup_n of_o affliction_n from_o the_o lord_n hand_n but_o be_v drunken_a therewith_o god_n raise_v they_o up_o again_o as_o before_o upon_o esaye_n we_o have_v declare_v lest_o they_o shall_v utter_o perish_v contrariwise_o the_o ungodly_a for_o that_o they_o acknowledge_v not_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n but_o become_v worse_o and_o worse_a thereby_o be_v utter_o lose_v both_o in_o body_n and_o soul_n let_v we_o then_o be_v mindful_a of_o these_o thing_n and_o patient_o abide_v what_o soever_o he_o lay_v upon_o we_o and_o use_v the_o same_o to_o the_o amendment_n of_o our_o life_n that_o in_o time_n to_o come_v we_o may_v in_o heaven_n drink_v of_o that_o abundant_a cup_n of_o eternal_a felicity_n which_o christ_n jesus_n our_o lord_n have_v promise_v to_o they_o that_o remain_v with_o he_o to_o who_o belong_v thanksgiving_n honour_n glory_n and_o dominion_n for_o ever_o amen_n the_o four_o homely_a but_o upon_o the_o mount_n zion_n shall_v be_v a_o safeguard_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v holy_a and_o the_o house_n of_o jacob_n shall_v again_o enjoy_v her_o old_a possession_n and_o the_o house_n of_o jacob_n shall_v be_v a_o fire_n and_o the_o house_n of_o joseph_n a_o flame_n &_o the_o house_n of_o esau_n shall_v be_v the_o straw_n which_o they_o shall_v kindle_v and_o consume_v so_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v nothing_o leave_v of_o the_o house_n of_o esau_n for_o the_o lord_n himself_o have_v say_v it_o and_o they_o shall_v possess_v the_o south_n namely_o the_o mount_n of_o esau_n &_o the_o plain_a country_n of_o the_o philistine_n they_o shall_v also_o possess_v the_o field_n of_o ephraim_n and_o the_o field_n of_o samaria_n and_o benjamin_n shall_v possess_v gilead_n and_o the_o army_n of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n that_o shall_v return_v shall_v have_v all_o that_o belong_v to_o the_o chananite_n even_o unto_o zarphat_n and_o jerusalem_n that_o shall_v return_v shall_v possess_v what_o soever_o be_v in_o sepharad_n even_o the_o city_n of_o the_o south_n and_o there_o shall_v go_v up_o saviour_n unto_o the_o mount_n zion_n to_o judge_v the_o mount_n of_o esau_n and_o the_o kingdom_n shall_v be_v the_o lord_n hitherto_o abdias_n in_o the_o first_o part_n of_o his_o sermon_n have_v threaten_v to_o the_o edomite_n the_o horrible_a judgement_n of_o god_n place_n thereby_o to_o salve_v that_o offence_n which_o be_v object_v to_o captive_n in_o babylon_n when_o the_o babylonian_n see_v they_o cast_v out_o of_o their_o native_a country_n and_o many_o way_n subject_a to_o misery_n the_o posterity_n of_o esau_n contrariwise_o flourish_v in_o prosperous_a estate_n and_o over_o insolent_o brag_v against_o the_o people_n of_o god_n but_o because_o man_n be_v not_o always_o in_o the_o better_a case_n although_o their_o enemy_n be_v put_v to_o due_a punishment_n for_o their_o unjust_a deal_n and_o cruelty_n therefore_o ensue_v now_o the_o other_o part_n wherein_o he_o promise_v that_o the_o jew_n shall_v be_v restore_v again_o thereby_o to_o let_v they_o understand_v that_o god_o will_v not_o only_o revenge_v the_o injury_n do_v unto_o they_o but_o that_o he_o will_v also_o be_v mindful_a of_o his_o promise_n and_o set_v up_o again_o that_o kingdom_n amongst_o they_o which_o he_o so_o oft_o have_v promise_v to_o their_o father_n and_o from_o hence_o we_o also_o be_v to_o fetch_v consolation_n that_o god_n be_v not_o in_o manner_n of_o a_o furious_a man_n carry_v with_o a_o blind_a rage_n against_o his_o enemy_n but_o that_o the_o revenge_n which_o he_o take_v upon_o they_o be_v join_v also_o with_o their_o deliverance_n to_o succeed_v but_o before_o we_o take_v in_o hand_n the_o word_n of_o abdias_n that_o which_o late_o be_v speak_v in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o amos_n his_o prophecy_n must_v here_o also_o be_v mark_v namely_o that_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o prophet_n speak_v of_o the_o restore_n again_o of_o israel_n have_v their_o full_a perfection_n none_o otherwise_o but_o in_o christ_n who_o alone_o have_v re-edify_v that_o eternal_a and_o bless_a kingdom_n of_o god_n among_o man_n wherefore_o with_o the_o historical_a sense_n we_o must_v also_o join_v together_o the_o mystery_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n and_o forth_o with_o shall_v we_o perceive_v that_o all_o stay_n of_o salvation_n be_v comprehend_v in_o the_o same_o safety_n first_o of_o all_o by_o a_o general_a promise_n he_o teach_v that_o they_o all_o shall_v have_v peace_n in_o god_n church_n as_o many_o as_o hold_v themselves_o within_o the_o lap_n thereof_o in_o the_o mount_n zion_n shall_v be_v say_v he_o a_o safeguard_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v holy_a etc_n etc_n he_o seem_v to_o set_v these_o word_n against_o all_o the_o other_o that_o he_o have_v speak_v before_o of_o the_o cruel_a lay_n in_o wait_v of_o the_o edomite_n and_o even_o of_o all_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o church_n as_o if_o this_o be_v the_o sense_n although_o now_o you_o be_v carry_v away_o into_o babylon_n and_o there_o sustain_v all_o kind_n of_o misery_n again_o although_o the_o edomite_n busy_a themselves_o about_o intercept_n of_o such_o as_o do_v yet_o remain_v and_o have_v intercept_v they_o either_o send_v they_o over_o to_o the_o babylonian_n or_o else_o by_o force_n take_v they_o away_o to_o become_v their_o slave_n yet_o shall_v they_o never_o bring_v it_o to_o pass_v but_o that_o upon_o mount_n zion_n god_n will_v set_v up_o his_o church_n which_o may_v be_v a_o sanctuary_n of_o safety_n for_o all_o that_o fly_v thereunto_o and_o that_o the_o same_o mount_n may_v remain_v consecrate_v unto_o my_o honour_n in_o such_o sort_n that_o i_o will_v not_o suffer_v it_o to_o be_v continual_o profane_v of_o the_o gentile_n and_o hereout_o shall_v it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o house_n of_o jacob_n shall_v again_o enjoy_v her_o old_a possession_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n the_o land_n which_o of_o old_a time_n i_o promise_v unto_o abraham_n or_o as_o other_o interpret_v it_o they_o shall_v possess_v such_o as_o at_o this_o present_a have_v the_o rule_n over_o they_o and_o this_o thing_n in_o the_o word_n that_o follow_v by_o a_o more_o plentiful_a reckon_n up_o of_o the_o part_n he_o will_v express_v these_o thing_n
