samson_n and_o solomon_n have_v fall_v down_o before_o we_o and_o if_o ever_o man_n have_v be_v bear_v that_o can_v have_v his_o happiness_n in_o himself_o that_o man_n be_v solomon_n strong_a in_o power_n rich_a in_o treasure_n wise_a in_o rule_n healthful_a in_o body_n sober_a in_o affection_n abound_v in_o pleasure_n what_o so_o ever_o his_o eye_n or_o ear_n can_v desire_v no_o gift_n want_v in_o mind_n in_o body_n in_o outward_a life_n yea_o more_o than_o this_o a_o heart_n that_o can_v measure_v all_o the_o delight_n of_o the_o world_n to_o use_v they_o as_o they_o be_v and_o see_v the_o vanity_n that_o be_v in_o they_o and_o confess_v that_o life_n in_o immortality_n be_v above_o all_o yet_o from_o all_o this_o he_o fall_v when_o god_n leave_v he_o in_o his_o own_o power_n to_o make_v trial_n of_o his_o own_o strength_n for_o how_o can_v flesh_n and_o blood_n prevail_v against_o principality_n &_o the_o power_n of_o darkness_n and_o how_o can_v solomon_n stand_v upright_o though_o his_o strength_n have_v be_v double_a when_o adam_n himself_o can_v fall_v from_o paradise_n then_o let_v not_o we_o poor_a creature_n boast_v ourselves_o in_o who_o there_o be_v no_o c_o all_o these_o they_o let_v sink_v in_o their_o own_o shame_n with_o out_o defence_n for_o these_o apply_v not_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n unto_o we_o but_o in_o the_o merit_n of_o the_o work_n they_o be_v commend_v but_o as_o these_o have_v no_o colour_n of_o good_a defence_n so_o the_o excuse_n of_o the_o other_o be_v very_o vain_a for_o how_o say_v they_o that_o the_o pope_n or_o priest_n apply_v the_o i_o rite_n of_o christ_n see_v this_o application_n can_v stand_v by_o their_o own_o confession_n without_o a_o real_a sacrifice_v of_o christ_n for_o say_v not_o in_o apostle_n here_o that_o christ_n do_v it_o by_o himself_o not_o only_o make_v christ_n the_o work_n but_o also_o the_o workman_n the_o price_n and_o the_o chapman_n the_o sacrifice_n &_o sacrificer_n not_o all_o the_o our_o flesh_n in_o piece_n to_o bear_v with_o he_o the_o weight_n of_o his_o affliction_n from_o which_o he_o be_v deliver_v and_o it_o will_v make_v our_o tear_n to_o be_v as_o drop_n of_o blood_n to_o be_v partaker_n of_o so_o great_a anguish_n of_o spirit_n as_o he_o sustain_v and_o yet_o it_o be_v not_o so_o great_a but_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o angel_n send_v from_o his_o father_n be_v much_o great_a so_o that_o by_o prayer_n he_o obtain_v a_o most_o excellent_a victory_n and_o have_v bruise_v the_o serpent_n head_n and_o break_v all_o his_o force_n and_o why_o shall_v we_o then_o be_v discourage_v if_o our_o sin_n be_v as_o crimson_a or_o if_o they_o be_v red_a like_o scarlet_a yet_o they_o be_v the_o sin_n of_o our_o own_o body_n but_o not_o we_o only_o but_o also_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n they_o rest_v all_o upon_o christ_n our_o saviour_n and_o yet_o he_o pray_v for_o deliverance_n and_o have_v obtain_v and_o therefore_o we_o may_v say_v with_o boldness_n
