and_o religion_n or_o about_o ordinary_a matter_n of_o common_a life_n it_o be_v not_o certain_a this_o we_o see_v the_o apostle_n will_v glad_o compose_v the_o strife_n and_o therefore_o he_o the_o apostle_n plain_o show_v that_o be_v make_v light_n we_o ought_v to_o walk_v as_o child_n of_o the_o light_n approve_v that_o which_o be_v please_v unto_o the_o lord_n have_v no_o fellowship_n mention_v by_o the_o apostle_n the_o first_o they_o shine_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o darkness_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o naughty_a and_o crooked_a nation_n second_o they_o hold_v out_o unto_o other_o the_o light_n that_o be_v in_o they_o even_o the_o word_n of_o life_n show_v itself_o in_o the_o integrity_n of_o their_o conversation_n whence_o i_o note_v two_o property_n necessary_o requisite_a in_o all_o the_o faithful_a child_n of_o god_n the_o one_o be_v that_o they_o have_v light_n in_o themselves_o the_o other_o be_v that_o they_o communicate_v it_o to_o other_o touch_v the_o first_o light_v you_o know_v be_v not_o call_v light_n unless_o it_o have_v light_a in_o itself_o in_o whatsoever_o darkness_n it_o shine_v the_o faithful_a child_n of_o god_n then_o if_o they_o will_v be_v as_o here_o they_o be_v call_v light_n they_o must_v still_o so_o look_v unto_o themselves_o and_o their_o own_o way_n that_o howsoever_o they_o walk_v among_o the_o child_n of_o darkness_n yet_o they_o suffer_v not_o that_o light_n which_o be_v in_o they_o to_o be_v darken_v but_o that_o they_o shine_v as_o light_n in_o the_o world_n among_o they_o who_o heart_n be_v set_v on_o mischief_n the_o sun_n when_o it_o set_v forth_o as_o a_o giant_n to_o run_v his_o course_n cast_v forth_o his_o beam_n and_o they_o be_v disperse_v throughout_o all_o place_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o albeit_o often_o time_n it_o light_n and_o shine_v upon_o most_o loathsome_a and_o filthy_a place_n yet_o still_o do_v it_o remain_v in_o his_o own_o purity_n not_o at_o all_o defile_v therewith_o herein_o these_o light_n i_o mean_v the_o faithful_a child_n of_o god_n must_v resemble_v this_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n it_o can_v be_v that_o they_o shall_v not_o at_o all_o converse_n unfruitful_a work_n of_o darkness_n than_o we_o be_v no_o such_o light_n a_o rule_n whereby_o you_o may_v quick_o try_v and_o examine_v whether_o you_o have_v that_o light_n in_o yourselves_o which_o you_o hear_v the_o faithful_a child_n of_o god_n shall_v have_v in_o themselves_o light_z where_o it_o be_v expel_v all_o darkness_n if_o then_o you_o have_v the_o light_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n all_o mean_n avoid_v all_o dissension_n and_o division_n and_o endeavour_n to_o keep_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n and_o therefore_o in_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o yet_o reveal_v unto_o we_o let_v we_o with_o patience_n wait_v till_o god_n in_o his_o good_a time_n reveal_v they_o unto_o we_o let_v we_o in_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v reveal_v unto_o we_o proceed_v by_o one_o rule_n that_o one_o rule_n of_o god_n word_n not_o decline_v from_o it_o to_o the_o right_a hand_n or_o to_o the_o left_a and_o let_v we_o be_v like_o mind_a one_o towards_o another_o according_a to_o christ_n jesus_n that_o with_o one_o mind_n and_o one_o mouth_n we_o may_v praise_v god_n even_o the_o father_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n so_o and_o so_o alone_o shall_v we_o build_v that_o neither_o hammer_n nor_o axe_n nor_o any_o tool_n of_o iron_n shall_v be_v hear_v in_o the_o lord_n house_n while_o it_o be_v in_o building_n and_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o they_o be_v weak_a nor_o they_o that_o be_v strong_a than_o other_o in_o faith_n in_o knowledge_n or_o in_o obedience_n be_v to_o be_v puff_v up_o in_o themselves_o or_o to_o contemn_v they_o that_o be_v weak_a because_o they_o be_v strong_a but_o every_o man_n be_v according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o grace_n that_o be_v give_v he_o to_o walk_v by_o that_o rule_n which_o god_n have_v prescribe_v he_o and_o one_o to_o help_v another_o in_o fight_v a_o good_a fight_n and_o finish_v their_o course_n all_o of_o we_o be_v rank_v to_o run_v and_o bill_v to_o fight_v albeit_o unto_o all_o of_o we_o be_v not_o give_v like_o speed_n to_o run_v or_o like_o strength_n to_o fight_v and_o all_o of_o we_o must_v run_v and_o fight_v though_o we_o can_v run_v with_o the_o speedy_a or_o fight_v with_o the_o strong_a and_o shall_v we_o either_o be_v discourage_v and_o sit_v down_o because_o we_o can_v match_v with_o the_o best_a or_o swell_v and_o disdain_n because_o we_o be_v not_o as_o other_o but_o as_o good_a as_o the_o best_a it_o be_v as_o if_o the_o foot_n shall_v be_v dismay_v and_o deny_v to_o go_v because_o it_o be_v not_o the_o head_n and_o as_o if_o
holy_a care_n not_o only_o to_o instruct_v and_o exhort_v the_o whole_a church_n of_o philippi_n in_o general_a but_o likewise_o private_o such_o particular_a person_n as_o he_o hear_v it_o be_v needful_a to_o instruct_v and_o exhort_v for_o here_o we_o see_v how_o after_o his_o general_a exhortation_n unto_o the_o philippian_n he_o come_v unto_o particular_a exhortation_n to_o private_a plough-taile_n or_o at_o the_o anuil_n or_o at_o the_o shopboard_n how_o needful_a soever_o it_o be_v this_o place_n serve_v not_o much_o to_o speak_v unto_o they_o and_o therefore_o i_o let_v they_o alone_o second_o in_o the_o person_n of_o paul_n i_o note_v his_o godly_a care_n to_o compose_v the_o strife_n of_o these_o two_o godly_a woman_n euodias_n and_o syntyche_n for_o there_o be_v a_o we_o study_n and_o labour_n to_o make_v peace_n among_o other_o the_o more_o like_a we_o be_v unto_o god_n and_o the_o more_o we_o show_v ourselves_o to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n so_o that_o we_o see_v that_o to_o make_v peace_n and_o end_n strife_n be_v very_o commendable_a both_o with_o god_n and_o man_n this_o then_o first_o may_v teach_v we_o to_o beware_v how_o we_o do_v sow_v strife_n and_o dissension_n betwixt_o man_n and_o man_n for_o look_v how_o commendable_a a_o thing_n it_o be_v to_o make_v peace_n and_o end_n strife_n so_o intolerable_a and_o odious_a a_o thing_n it_o be_v to_o blow_v the_o bellows_n of_o discord_n among_o brethren_n and_o neighbour_n and_o as_o they_o that_o make_v peace_n do_v thereby_o show_v themselves_o to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n with_o who_o dwell_v peace_n so_o those_o seditious_a firebrand_n that_o delight_v to_o stir_v up_o strife_n among_o their_o brethren_n and_o to_o set_v man_n by_o the_o ear_n together_o show_v link_v we_o in_o the_o true_a bond_n of_o peace_n love_n and_o christianity_n and_o either_o this_o must_v be_v or_o else_o that_o can_v be_v if_o then_o we_o desire_v to_o be_v knit_v together_o in_o those_o that_o have_v labour_v with_o he_o in_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n at_o philippi_n pronounce_v that_o their_o name_n be_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n whence_o i_o observe_v this_o for_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o good_a minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n jesus_n if_o he_o have_v faithful_o and_o painful_o labour_v in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n if_o he_o though_o they_o be_v not_o teach_v yet_o shall_v not_o he_o lose_v his_o reward_n for_o because_o he_o have_v be_v faithful_a 25.21_o mat._n 25.21_o he_o shall_v enter_v into_o his_o master_n joy_n these_o thing_n be_v among_o you_o and_o abound_v then_o bless_v shall_v you_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n and_o you_o shall_v eat_v of_o the_o fruit_n of_o your_o way_n but_o if_o he_o look_v for_o judgement_n and_o behold_v oppression_n for_o righteousness_n and_o behold_v a_o cry_n for_o mercy_n and_o behold_v cruelty_n for_o truth_n and_o behold_v falsehood_n for_o peace_n and_o behold_v discord_n for_o love_n and_o behold_v hatred_n for_o integrity_n and_o behold_v dissimulation_n and_o hypocrisy_n for_o holiness_n and_o behold_v profaneness_n and_o all_o kind_n of_o iniquity_n then_o what_o remain_v but_o a_o remove_n of_o our_o candlestick_n out_o of_o his_o place_n what_o but_o a_o fearful_a look_v for_o of_o judgement_n wherein_o shall_v be_v indignation_n and_o wrath_n unto_o they_o that_o disobey_v the_o truth_n and_o obey_v unrighteousness_n see_v therefore_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o tender_a care_n over_o we_o send_v forth_o labourer_n unto_o we_o and_o so_o plentiful_o reward_v their_o holy_a labour_n among_o we_o let_v we_o again_o with_o all_o care_n consider_v what_o he_o require_v of_o we_o for_o such_o his_o care_n over_o we_o and_o in_o all_o
