say_v the_o repent_a thief_n unto_o our_o saviour_n when_o thou_o come_v into_o thy_o kingdom_n as_o you_o desire_v that_o god_n shall_v remember_v you_o for_o good_a at_o the_o last_o day_n so_o do_v you_o remember_v he_o now_o and_o his_o word_n otherwise_o it_o will_v be_v utter_o in_o vain_a for_o you_o to_o call_v for_o mercy_n or_o remembrance_n at_o the_o last_o day_n many_o person_n be_v now_o wilful_o and_o affect_o forgetful_a and_o it_o be_v just_a with_o god_n to_o punish_v they_o in_o this_o life_n with_o a_o final_a stupidity_n and_o sottishness_n who_o to_o give_v for_o those_o that_o be_v forgetful_a by_o any_o accidental_a casualty_n or_o natural_a infirmity_n i_o will_v rather_o say_v somewhat_o to_o comfort_v they_o than_o to_o reprove_v they_o doubtless_o many_o of_o god_n dear_a child_n be_v subject_a to_o this_o defect_n and_o daily_o complain_v of_o their_o forgetfulness_n and_o how_o weak_a their_o memory_n be_v to_o retain_v any_o good_a thing_n that_o they_o hear_v but_o grant_v it_o be_v so_o yet_o perhaps_o thou_o understand_v more_o than_o thou_o be_v able_a to_o express_v this_o be_v to_o be_v bear_v withal_o perhaps_o thou_o remembr_v the_o matter_n though_o thou_o can_v not_o remember_v the_o word_n of_o a_o sermon_n this_o make_v some_o amends_o perhaps_o thou_o remember_v it_o not_o to_o make_v repetition_n of_o it_o yet_o thou_o remember_v it_o to_o make_v practice_n of_o it_o this_o be_v best_a of_o all_o tully_n commend_v two_o excellent_a orator_n for_o their_o excellent_a memory_n lucullus_n and_o hortensius_n but_o he_o commend_v lucullus_n most_o because_o he_o remember_v matter_n the_o other_o but_o word_n if_o thou_o can_v remember_v the_o matter_n of_o a_o sermon_n though_o thou_o can_v not_o remember_v the_o word_n or_o if_o thou_o can_v remember_v to_o practice_v it_o though_o thou_o can_v not_o remember_v it_o thou_o have_v the_o less_o cause_n to_o complain_v but_o if_o thy_o defect_n be_v as_o great_a as_o thou_o complain_v it_o may_v be_v some_o comfort_n to_o thou_o that_o thou_o have_v a_o heart_n to_o complain_v of_o it_o the_o complain_v of_o a_o burden_n be_v some_o ease_n of_o it_o how_o many_o thousand_o be_v there_o in_o the_o world_n have_v their_o sin_n lie_v heavy_a upon_o they_o yet_o it_o be_v no_o matter_n of_o trouble_n to_o they_o ever_o remember_v that_o it_o be_v a_o good_a sign_n to_o be_v sensible_a either_o of_o the_o burden_n of_o sin_n or_o of_o the_o want_n of_o grace_n there_o be_v four_o thing_n about_o which_o your_o memory_n shall_v be_v daily_o exercise_v your_o sin_n that_o you_o may_v daily_o confess_v and_o bewail_v they_o death_n that_o you_o may_v prepare_v for_o it_o god_n justice_n that_o you_o may_v fear_v and_o his_o mercy_n
