pull_v we_o unto_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n that_o he_o will_v more_v and_o more_o confirm_v we_o in_o such_o perseverance_n of_o faith_n as_o that_o we_o may_v cleave_v unto_o to_o he_o &_o name_n and_o cast_v it_o not_o out_o at_o all_o adventure_n for_o his_o meaning_n be_v that_o we_o shall_v have_v it_o in_o all_o reverend_a regard_n &_o not_o take_v it_o but_o upon_o necessity_n &_o to_o such_o a_o use_n as_o be_v worthy_a the_o holiness_n thereof_o and_o for_o his_o part_n also_o give_v we_o a_o example_n and_o therefore_o we_o be_v to_o conclude_v that_o this_o be_v a_o point_n of_o great_a importance_n and_o marvelous_a profitable_a for_o we_o to_o know_v that_o he_o which_o shall_v be_v the_o redeemer_n of_o the_o people_n shall_v also_o have_v the_o title_n both_o of_o a_o king_n &_o a_o priest_n and_o in_o deed_n if_o we_o shall_v separate_v the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o the_o faith_n that_o we_o have_v in_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n shall_v be_v very_o weak_a and_o shall_v have_v no_o certain_a nor_o firm_a foundation_n for_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n requisite_a to_o our_o salvation_n the_o one_o be_v that_o god_n accept_v we_o as_o rightuous_a and_o vow_v we_o for_o his_o child_n the_o other_o be_v that_o we_o may_v be_v guide_v by_o his_o hand_n and_o maintain_v and_o warrant_v by_o his_o invincible_a power_n if_o we_o shall_v take_v but_o one_o of_o these_o point_n we_o shall_v understand_v it_o but_o by_o half_n and_o mark_v how_o put_v the_o case_n that_o god_n be_v merciful_a unto_o we_o and_o will_v not_o impute_v unto_o we_o our_o and_o although_o we_o be_v curse_v in_o adam_n and_o do_v daily_o bring_v a_o new_a curse_n upon_o our_o head_n through_o our_o sin_n &_o transgression_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o same_o shall_v hereby_o be_v blot_v out_o &_o prepare_v in_o that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n vouchsafe_v in_o deed_n &_o in_o truth_n to_o take_v upon_o he_o the_o office_n to_o bless_v us._n we_o see_v also_o we_o see_v that_o it_o be_v humility_n that_o lead_v we_o unto_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n that_o we_o may_v be_v partaker_n of_o the_o righteousness_n which_o he_o bring_v us._n now_o humility_n be_v not_o such_o a_o manner_n of_o thing_n as_o many_o suppose_v it_o to_o be_v as_o to_o show_v a_o godly_a and_o humble_a countenance_n before_o god_n but_o we_o must_v be_v so_o bare_a and_o empty_a of_o any_o good_a thing_n in_o we_o as_o that_o we_o must_v cast_v ourselves_o down_o at_o his_o foot_n and_o acknowledge_v that_o we_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o miserable_a and_o wretched_a it_o be_v dead_a wherefore_o there_o must_v be_v a_o new_a and_o a_o second_o amendment_n and_o reparation_n before_o you_o be_v any_o thing_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o when_o you_o have_v be_v regenerate_v in_o jesus_n christ_n the_o same_o then_o be_v call_v a_o new_a creation_n and_o therefore_o every_o one_o of_o you_o be_v the_o creature_n of_o god_n when_o as_o he_o have_v form_v and_o call_v you_o unto_o himself_o without_o any_o disposition_n thereunto_o for_o your_o own_o part_n but_o god_n have_v prepare_v good_a work_n by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n see_v then_o that_o it_o be_v thus_o we_o may_v very_o well_o conclude_v that_o our_o salvation_n come_v no_o whit_n of_o ourselves_o no_o not_o one_o drop_n of_o it_o but_o be_v the_o only_a mere_a gift_n of_o god_n procede_v of_o his_o own_o liberality_n thus_o than_o we_o see_v as_o touch_v the_o first_o point_n that_o for_o the_o obtain_n of_o mercy_n and_o grace_n at_o god_n his_o hand_n we_o must_v true_o god_n so_o to_o terrify_v we_o as_o that_o we_o may_v be_v bring_v almost_o into_o utter_a despair_n for_o how_o shall_v we_o know_v what_o a_o benefit_n meat_n &_o drink_n be_v except_o we_o be_v touch_v with_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n for_o if_o we_o be_v stuff_v &_o full_a we_o will_v continue_v so_o we_o will_v never_o seek_v after_o crumb_n nor_o crust_n as_o we_o say_v but_o it_o be_v hunger_n that_o drive_v we_o to_o hunt_v after_o victual_n for_o when_o we_o be_v sick_a we_o seek_v for_o remedy_n but_o if_o a_o man_n be_v so_o senseless_a as_o that_o he_o feel_v no_o kind_n of_o grief_n he_o will_v die_v a_o hundred_o time_n before_o he_o will_v call_v for_o help_v or_o yet_o once_o desire_v it_o wherefore_o as_o i_o have_v already_o say_v we_o must_v be_v so_o touch_v with_o our_o misery_n as_o if_o we_o be_v dead_a in_o deed_n &_o as_o if_o we_o feel_v that_o death_n whereof_o the_o scripture_n speak_v that_o we_o may_v attain_v to_o that_o life_n which_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n offer_v unto_o we_o by_o his_o gospel_n and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o the_o scripture_n so_o often_o reprove_v and_o as_o it_o be_v condemn_v we_o for_o our_o sin_n for_o god_n take_v no_o pleasure_n in_o deal_v with_o we_o after_o this_o manner_n but_o because_o he_o know_v the_o necessity_n thereof_o so_o then_o look_v how_o many_o threaten_n sentence_n of_o condemnation_n of_o reproof_n and_o such_o like_a be_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n they_o be_v even_o so_o many_o mallette_n to_o knock_v we_o on_o the_o head_n to_o bring_v we_o unto_o that_o so_o by_o little_a and_o little_o be_v quite_o and_o clean_o exclude_v from_o it_o now_o god_n have_v set_v before_o we_o our_o condemation_n namely_o in_o the_o law_n and_o in_o very_a deed_n all_o the_o scripture_n be_v full_a of_o they_o and_o when_o it_o be_v say_v that_o it_o be_v profitable_a among_o other_o thing_n it_o lay_v out_o the_o reproof_n and_o beside_o we_o know_v what_o the_o acknowledge_v himself_o to_o be_v but_o a_o stranger_n and_o although_o every_o man_n become_v his_o friend_n and_o be_v ready_a to_o be_v at_o unity_n with_o he_o yet_o can_v he_o in_o no_o wise_n keep_v company_n with_o they_o but_o have_v rather_o have_v be_v at_o utter_a defiance_n with_o they_o than_o he_o will_v at_o any_o hand_n have_v conform_v and_o frame_v himself_o to_o their_o
