in_o this_o present_a distress_n whether_o by_o false_a accusation_n of_o they_o or_o false_a witness_n bear_v against_o they_o sure_o such_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o this_o bless_a part_n of_o the_o marriage_n supper_n and_o gospel_n feast_v five_o all_o those_o who_o be_v not_o willing_a to_o adventure_v their_o whole_a estate_n i_o and_o life_n and_o geir_n in_o the_o same_o break_a viz._n the_o joy_n the_o lord_n people_n have_v at_o his_o return_n all_o such_o as_o willing_o without_o remorse_n or_o endeavour_n to_o amend_v be_v wallow_v in_o the_o same_o sin_n wherein_o they_o do_v lie_v before_o the_o lord_n begin_v to_o smite_v we_o especi-o_a you_o four_o hour_n professer_n who_o think_v you_o love_n zion_n and_o do_v approve_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v best_o yet_o be_v not_o leave_v off_o your_o four_o hour-companion_n be_v it_o know_v to_o all_o of_o you_o who_o we_o have_v name_v it_o be_v not_o for_o your_o sake_n that_o our_o
lord_n jesus_n will_v see_v or_o visit_v we_o again_o wherefore_o we_o say_v unto_o all_o of_o you_o keep_v your_o hand_n from_o off_o the_o precious_a bread_n which_o be_v appoint_v for_o the_o mourning_n and_o heavy_a heart_a son_n and_o daughter_n of_o zion_n for_o only_o they_o share_v with_o zion_n in_o her_o consolation_n when_o the_o lord_n see_v she_o again_o who_o so_o love_v she_o the_o faint_a and_o tremble_v discourage_v heart_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v cheer_v up_o and_o revive_v when_o he_o see_v we_o again_o but_o we_o desire_v not_o altogether_o to_o leave_v you_o here_o and_o therefore_o we_o say_v if_o you_o will_v be_v so_o wise_a for_o your_o self_n as_o to_o join_v yourselves_o to_o zion_n and_o from_o a_o principle_n of_o heart_n honesty_n dance_n of_o a_o glorious_a work_n upon_o your_o heart_n to_o come_v and_o join_v yourselves_o to_o zion_n to_o take_v a_o life_n and_o death_n with_o the_o people_n of_o god_n see_v they_o have_v that_o which_o may_v bear_v they_o up_o in_o the_o dâ—â—â—est_a affliction_n and_o most_o tempestuous_a flâ—â—â—_n wherein_o they_o may_v be_v toss_v but_o that_o we_o may_v draw_v to_o a_o close_a we_o will_v now_o speak_v a_o word_n unto_o you_o the_o people_n of_o god_n as_o to_o your_o present_a duty_n from_o all_o we_o have_v say_v you_o see_v we_o have_v clear_v this_o good_a ground_n to_o world_n own_v and_o avow_v it_o before_o heaven_n and_o earth_n angel_n and_o man_n in_o a_o word_n let_v we_o set_v our_o face_n as_o flint_n against_o the_o storm_n resolve_v upon_o the_o great_a of_o hazard_n in_o the_o lord_n strength_n not_o to_o yield_v to_o any_o thing_n not_o agreeable_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n when_o matter_n be_v violent_o carry_v on_o against_o jesus_n christ_n his_o interest_n and_o people_n it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o all_o the_o faithful_a seed_n to_o set_v their_o face_n as_o flint_n against_o the_o storm_n and_o not_o to_o yield_v in_o a_o foot_n to_o any_o thing_n press_v upon_o they_o contrary_a to_o his_o word_n now_o 1._o here_o be_v your_o work_n be_v faithful_a unto_o he_o bide_v by_o the_o truth_n of_o he_o who_o endure_v the_o cross_n for_o you_o defile_v not_o yourselves_o with_o abomination_n press_v upon_o you_o 2._o the_o sympathy_n and_o fellow_n feel_v of_o our_o great_a high_a priest_n who_o be_v touch_v with_o the_o feeling_n of_o all_o our_o trial_n together_o with_o the_o precious_a promise_n be_v your_o expense_n and_o charge_n whereupon_o you_o be_v to_o spend_v on_o your_o way_n 3._o christ_n see_v you_o again_o together_o with_o the_o joyful_a and_o dance_a day_n you_o shall_v then_o have_v be_v your_o encouragement_n o_o therefore_o up_o with_o your_o faint_a and_o discourage_v heart_n for_o nothing_o friend_n tremble_v which_o he_o suppose_v may_v be_v for_o fear_n of_o his_o danger_n he_o speak_v these_o word_n what_o ail_v you_o o_o faithful_a friend_n in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o why_o do_v your_o face_n look_v pale_a be_v you_o afraid_a of_o the_o approach_a storm_n o_o may_v not_o this_o quiet_a your_o heart_n that_o he_o will_v carry_v you_o well_o through_o will_v see_v you_o again_o and_o cause_v your_o heart_n rejoice_v why_o then_o be_v you_o disconsolate_a be_v you_o afraid_a to_o lose_v a_o friend_n for_o christ_n and_o his_o cause_n o_o may_v not_o this_o satisfy_v your_o heart_n as_o to_o this_o that_o it_o be_v not_o lose_v which_o christ_n get_v it_o fall_v in_o a_o friend_n hand_n second_o we_o say_v unto_o you_o that_o there_o be_v protection_n and_o security_n in_o our_o god_n in_o the_o most_o tempestuous_a and_o stormy_a day_n isai_n 26._o 2._o we_o have_v a_o strong_a city_n what_o be_v the_o city_n there_o its_o god_n salvation_n salvation_n will_v god_n appoint_v for_o wall_n and_o bulwark_n where_o you_o may_v see_v that_o when_o the_o lord_n people_n have_v no_o outward_a protection_n neither_o wall_n nor_o bulwark_n than_o the_o lord_n salvation_n be_v wall_n and_o bulwark_n for_o their_o protection_n and_o shelter_n so_o that_o he_o can_v shelter_v they_o as_o within_o strong_a hold_n even_o 〈◊〉_d they_o be_v among_o the_o great_a of_o snare_n and_o so_o may_v not_o this_o quiet_a your_o heart_n that_o the_o lord_n can_v protect_v your_o friend_n though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o trouble_n and_o you_o have_v this_o to_o make_v up_o all_o your_o loss_n our_o lord_n jesus_n will_v see_v you_o again_o we_o leave_v you_o with_o the_o same_o soul_n comfort_v promise_n in_o your_o bosom_n that_o howbeit_o now_o you_o have_v sorrow_n because_o your_o hour_n be_v come_v yet_o he_o shall_v certain_o and_o without_o all_o doubt_n see_v you_o again_o and_o your_o heart_n shall_v rejoice_v and_o shall_v add_v no_o comfort_v the_o godly_a but_o if_o you_o do_v it_o not_o their_o blood_n will_v i_o require_v at_o your_o hand_n 3_o mot._n comfort_v the_o people_n of_o god_n against_o the_o storm_n and_o you_o shall_v imitate_v your_o bless_a master_n who_o comfort_v his_o disciple_n when_o go_v away_o with_o this_o i_o will_v see_v you_o again_o 4_o mot._n if_o you_o do_v not_o comfort_v the_o people_n of_o god_n ere_o they_o enter_v in_o the_o furnace_n it_o will_v be_v more_o difficult_a to_o get_v comfort_n bear_v in_o upon_o they_o when_o their_o heart_n be_v down_o and_o they_o in_o the_o heat_n and_o bitterness_n of_o their_o affliction_n their_o present_a sorrow_n will_v not_o let_v they_o admit_v of_o comfort_n christ_n know_v this_o well_o for_o he_o say_v let_v these_o say_n sink_v down_o into_o your_o heart_n ground_n your_o comfort_n well_o now_o else_o you_o will_v be_v very_o incapable_a of_o hear_v comfort_n when_o i_o be_o take_v from_o you_o and_o slay_v and_o in_o the_o text_n he_o comfort_v they_o because_o he_o know_v they_o will_v not_o hear_v of_o comfort_n in_o the_o furnace_n and_o may_v not_o this_o stir_v you_o up_o to_o this_o duty_n of_o comfort_v the_o lord_n people_n now_o ere_o they_o enter_v the_o furnace_n that_o it_o will_v be_v a_o hard_a work_n to_o get_v they_o comfort_v when_o in_o the_o hot_a furnace_n of_o affliction_n 5_o mot._n comfort_v the_o people_n of_o god_n ere_o they_o enter_v to_o the_o heat_n of_o the_o furnace_n for_o you_o know_v not_o if_o you_o shall_v be_v near_o unto_o they_o when_o they_o shall_v have_v most_o need_v of_o comfort_n from_o you_o if_o a_o persecution_n for_o christ_n do_v send_v away_o faithful_a minister_n and_o their_o people_n into_o one_o shlp_n when_o banish_v or_o to_o thrust_v they_o into_o one_o prison_n together_o you_o may_v suspend_v your_o comfort_v they_o till_o you_o be_v send_v into_o banishment_n or_o prison_n together_o but_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o persecution_n for_o christ_n be_v to_o smite_v the_o shepherd_n and_o to_o scatter_v the_o flock_n he_o be_v either_o thrust_v into_o prison_n or_o banish_v out_o of_o the_o land_n or_o out_o of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o flock_n be_v scatter_v so_o that_o he_o can_v have_v opportunity_n to_o speak_v comfortable_o unto_o they_o and_o what_o trouble_n may_v he_o have_v in_o that_o case_n if_o he_o hear_v of_o any_o thing_n fall_v wrong_a in_o they_o if_o they_o faint_v in_o the_o furnance_n his_o heart_n must_v challenge_v he_o for_o not_o comfort_v and_o strengthen_v they_o when_o he_o have_v opportunity_n and_o may_v not_o this_o encourage_v you_o to_o your_o duty_n o_o therefore_o to_o your_o work_n while_o you_o have_v opportunity_n 6_o mot._n o_o comfort_n the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o strengthen_v they_o for_o the_o storm_n and_o you_o shall_v have_v great_a peace_n when_o take_v from_o they_o christ_n have_v this_o to_o say_v john_n 17._o that_o he_o have_v give_v they_o his_o father_n word_n and_o this_o be_v paul_n great_a encouragement_n in_o his_o last_o discourse_n at_o miletus_n act_v 20._o 26._o that_o he_o have_v tell_v they_o the_o whole_a counsel_n of_o i_o to_o preach_v from_o unto_o they_o tend_v to_o their_o instruction_n or_o encouragement_n that_o ever_o i_o refuse_v to_o preach_v from_o upon_o the_o great_a hazard_n and_o therefore_o i_o have_v no_o more_o ado_n for_o my_o work_n be_v end_v with_o my_o opportunity_n as_o i_o be_o to_o have_v no_o more_o liberty_n to_o labour_n among_o they_o so_o also_o i_o have_v no_o more_o work_n to_o do_v i_o labour_v while_o i_o have_v opportunity_n and_o so_o now_o my_o work_n and_o opportunity_n be_v end_v at_o once_o o_o how_o great_a peace_n may_v this_o give_v and_o may_v not_o this_o encourage_v you_o to_o comfort_v the_o people_n of_o god_n ere_o they_o enter_v the_o heat_n of_o the_o furnace_n 7._o mot._n there_o shall_v not_o a_o hair_n of_o your_o head_n perish_v for_o your_o 27._o i_o have_v faint_v unless_o i_o have_v believe_v to_o see_v the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n it_o be_v but_o a_o far_o of_o look_n of_o comfort_n my_o faith_n get_v all_o that_o i_o can_v come_v at_o be_v the_o hope_n of_o see_v his_o goodness_n in_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n once_o ever_o i_o shall_v go_v off_o this_o world_n yet_o though_o
