and_o take_v the_o censer_n let_v we_o go_v to_o prayer_n for_o we_o be_v afraid_a that_o wrath_n be_v go_v out_o against_o this_o family_n against_o this_o person_n and_o it_o be_v a_o very_a good_a he_o speak_v of_o the_o people_n of_o israel_n in_o the_o wilderness_n but_o say_v he_o what_o come_v of_o it_o they_o be_v destroy_v of_o the_o destroyer_n now_o the_o destroyer_n be_v think_v to_o they_o stand_v in_o the_o forefront_n of_o all_o the_o spite_n and_o malice_n of_o ungodly_a man_n indeed_o god_n employ_v they_o in_o honourable_a service_n and_o that_o service_n that_o the_o angel_n will_v take_v delight_n in_o but_o though_o the_o service_n be_v honourable_a above_o the_o employment_n of_o other_o work_n yet_o the_o burden_n of_o danger_n that_o likewise_o be_v great_a than_o the_o danger_n of_o man_n that_o be_v in_o a_o inferior_a condition_n now_o when_o the_o soul_n come_v to_o get_v wisdom_n from_o christ_n to_o think_v of_o the_o danger_n that_o it_o be_v in_o than_o it_o will_v be_v content_a with_o that_o low_a estate_n in_o which_o it_o be_v a_o poor_a man_n that_o be_v in_o a_o low_a condition_n think_v i_o be_o low_a and_o other_o be_v raise_v but_o i_o know_v not_o what_o their_o burden_n be_v and_o so_o if_o he_o be_v right_o instruct_v in_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n he_o come_v to_o be_v content_v 3._o i_o a_o prosperous_a estate_n there_o be_v the_o burden_n of_o duty_n you_o look_v only_o at_o the_o sweet_a and_o comfort_n that_o they_o have_v and_o the_o honour_n and_o respect_n that_o they_o have_v that_o be_v in_o a_o prosperous_a condition_n but_o you_o must_v consider_v of_o the_o duty_n that_o they_o owe_v to_o god_n god_n require_v more_o duty_n at_o their_o hand_n than_o at_o you_o you_o be_v ready_a to_o be_v discontent_v that_o you_o have_v not_o such_o part_n and_o ability_n as_o such_o have_v but_o god_n require_v more_o duty_n of_o they_o that_o have_v more_o part_n god_n require_v more_o duty_n of_o they_o that_o have_v great_a estate_n than_o of_o you_o that_o have_v not_o such_o estate_n oh_o you_o will_v fain_o have_v the_o honour_n but_o can_v you_o carry_v the_o burden_n of_o the_o duty_n 4._o the_o prosperous_a condition_n now_o we_o be_v all_o steward_n and_o one_o be_v a_o steward_n to_o a_o mean_a man_n perhaps_o but_o a_o ordinary_a knight_n another_o be_v a_o steward_n to_o a_o nobleman_n a_o earl_n now_o the_o steward_n of_o the_o mean_a man_n he_o have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o the_o other_o have_v under_o his_o hand_n now_o shall_v he_o be_v discontent_v because_o there_o come_v not_o so_o much_o under_o his_o hand_n as_o under_o the_o other_o no_o think_v he_o i_o have_v less_o and_o i_o be_o to_o give_v the_o less_o account_n so_o your_o account_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o minister_n and_o magistrate_n will_v be_v nothing_o you_o be_v to_o give_v a_o account_n of_o your_o own_o soul_n and_o so_o be_v they_o you_o be_v to_o give_v a_o account_n for_o your_o own_o family_n and_o so_o be_v they_o but_o you_o be_v not_o to_o give_v account_n for_o congregation_n and_o for_o town_n and_o city_n and_o country_n you_o think_v of_o prince_n and_o king_n oh_o what_o a_o glorious_a condition_n they_o be_v in_o but_o what_o do_v you_o think_v of_o a_o king_n to_o give_v account_n for_o all_o the_o disorder_n and_o wickedness_n in_o a_o kingdom_n that_o he_o possible_o may_v have_v prevent_v what_o abundance_n of_o glory_n may_v a_o prince_n bring_v to_o god_n if_o so_o be_v that_o he_o bend_v his_o soul_n and_o all_o his_o thought_n to_o lift_v up_o the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o a_o kingdom_n now_o what_o god_n lose_v for_o want_v of_o this_o that_o king_n prince_z or_o governor_n he_o must_v give_v a_o account_n for_o it_o be_v a_o speech_n of_o himself_o indeed_o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v all-sufficient_a but_o that_o be_v but_o a_o further_a addition_n of_o the_o word_n all_o rather_o than_o of_o any_o matter_n for_o to_o be_v sufficient_a be_v all-sufficient_a now_o be_v this_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n to_o be_v sufficient_a to_o have_v sufficiency_n in_o himself_o elshaddai_a to_o be_v god_n have_v sufficiency_n in_o himself_o now_o thou_o come_v near_o to_o this_o thou_o partake_v of_o the_o divine_a nature_n as_o by_o grace_n in_o general_a so_o in_o a_o more_o peculiar_a manner_n by_o this_o grace_n of_o christian_a contentment_n what_o be_v the_o excellency_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n but_o this_o suppose_v there_o be_v no_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n and_o that_o all_o the_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n be_v contentment_n now_o that_o we_o may_v fall_v upon_o the_o practice_n there_o be_v require_v first_o that_o we_o shall_v he_o humble_v in_o our_o heart_n for_o the_o want_n of_o this_o that_o we_o have_v have_v so_o little_a of_o this_o grace_n in_o we_o for_o there_o be_v no_o way_n to_o set_v upon_o any_o duty_n with_o profit_n till_o the_o heart_n be_v humble_v for_o the_o want_n of_o the_o performance_n of_o the_o duty_n before_o many_o man_n when_o they_o hear_v of_o a_o duty_n that_o they_o shall_v perform_v they_o will_v labour_v to_o perform_v it_o but_o first_o thou_o must_v be_v much_o grace_n and_o strong_a grace_n and_o beautiful_a grace_n so_o this_o argue_v much_o corruption_n and_o strong_a corruption_n and_o very_o vile_a corruption_n in_o thy_o heart_n as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o man_n body_n if_o a_o man_n body_n be_v of_o that_o temper_n that_o every_o scratch_n of_o a_o pin_n make_v his_o flesh_n to_o rankle_v and_o to_o be_v a_o sore_n you_o will_v say_v sure_o this_o man_n body_n be_v very_o corrupt_a his_o blood_n and_o his_o flesh_n be_v corrupt_a that_o every_o scratch_n of_o a_o pin_n shall_v make_v it_o rankle_v so_o it_o be_v in_o thy_o spirit_n if_o every_o little_a trouble_n and_o affliction_n shall_v make_v thou_o discontent_v and_o make_v thou_o murmur_v and_o even_o cause_v thy_o spirit_n within_o thou_o to_o rankle_v or_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o wound_n in_o a_o man_n body_n the_o evil_a of_o a_o wound_n it_o be_v not_o so_o much_o in_o the_o largeness_n of_o the_o wound_n and_o the_o abundance_n of_o blood_n that_o come_v out_o of_o of_o it_o but_o when_o a_o chirurgeon_n come_v and_o see_v a_o great_a gash_n say_v he_o this_o will_v be_v heal_v within_o a_o few_o day_n but_o there_o be_v a_o less_o wound_n and_o there_o be_v a_o inflammation_n or_o a_o fret_a humour_n that_o be_v in_o it_o and_o this_o will_v cost_v time_n say_v he_o to_o cure_v so_o that_o he_o do_v not_o lay_v balsam_n and_o heal_a salve_n upon_o it_o but_o his_o great_a care_n be_v to_o get_v out_o the_o fret_a humour_n or_o inflammation_n so_o that_o the_o thing_n that_o must_v heal_v this_o wound_n it_o be_v some_o drink_n to_o purge_v but_o say_v the_o patient_a what_o good_a will_v this_o do_v to_o my_o wound_n you_o give_v i_o somewhat_o to_o drink_v and_o my_o wound_n be_v in_o my_o arm_n or_o in_o my_o leg_n what_o good_a will_v this_o do_v that_o i_o put_v in_o my_o stomach_n yes_o it_o purge_v out_o the_o fret_a humour_n or_o take_v away_o the_o inflammation_n and_o till_o that_o be_v take_v away_o the_o salve_n can_v do_v no_o good_a so_o it_o be_v just_a for_o all_o the_o world_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n it_o may_v be_v there_o be_v some_o affliction_n upon_o they_o that_o i_o compare_v to_o the_o wound_n now_o they_o think_v that_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o affliction_n be_v that_o that_o make_v their_o condition_n most_o miserable_a oh_o no_o there_o be_v a_o fret_a humour_n a_o inflammation_n in_o the_o from_o the_o mouth_n of_o a_o israelite_n that_o have_v be_v under_o bondage_n and_o cry_v under_o it_o and_o yet_o when_o they_o meet_v with_o a_o little_a cross_n in_o their_o way_n to_o say_v you_o have_v bring_v we_o out_o of_o the_o land_n that_o flow_v with_o milk_n and_o honey_n to_o say_v they_o be_v better_o before_o than_o now_o and_o yet_o before_o they_o can_v not_o be_v content_v neither_o this_o be_v the_o usual_a unthankful_a expression_n of_o a_o discontent_a heart_n and_o it_o be_v so_o with_o we_o now_o when_o we_o meet_v with_o any_o cross_n in_o our_o estate_n any_o taxation_n and_o trouble_n especial_o if_o any_o among_o you_o have_v be_v where_o the_o enemy_n have_v prevail_v you_o be_v ready_a to_o say_v we_o have_v plenty_n before_o and_o we_o be_v now_o shiftting_n of_o spirit_n they_o that_o murmur_v and_o be_v discontent_a be_v liable_a to_o temptation_n to_o shift_v for_o themselves_o in_o sinful_a and_o ungodly_a way_n discontent_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o shift_a course_n and_o unlawful_a way_n how_o many_o of_o you_o may_v have_v your_o conscience_n condemn_v you_o of_o this_o that_o you_o in_o the_o time_n of_o your_o affliction_n have_v fight_v to_o shift_v for_o yourselves_o by_o way_n that_o have_v be_v sinful_a against_o god_n and_o your_o discontent_n be_v the_o bottom_n and_o ground_n of_o it_o if_o you_o will_v avoid_v many_o particular_n 1_o it_o take_v away_o the_o present_a comfort_n of_o what_o you_o have_v because_o you_o have_v not_o somewhat_o that_o you_o will_v have_v what_o a_o foolish_a thing_n be_v this_o that_o because_o i_o have_v not_o what_o i_o will_v have_v i_o will_v not_o enjoy_v the_o comfort_n of_o what_o i_o have_v do_v not_o you_o account_v this_o folly_n in_o your_o child_n you_o give_v they_o some_o victual_n and_o they_o be_v not_o content_v perhaps_o they_o say_v it_o be_v not_o enough_o they_o cry_v for_o more_o and_o if_o you_o do_v not_o present_o give_v they_o more_o you_o can_v help_v yourselves_o you_o can_v get_v any_o thing_n by_o it_o who_o can_v by_o take_v any_o cark_n care_v add_v one_o cubit_n to_o his_o stature_n or_o make_v one_o hair_n that_o be_v white_a to_o be_v black_a you_o may_v vex_v and_o trouble_v yourselves_o but_o you_o can_v get_v nothing_o by_o it_o do_v you_o think_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v come_v in_o a_o way_n of_o mercy_n ever_o a_o whit_n the_o soon_o because_o of_o the_o murmur_a of_o your_o spirit_n oh_o no_o but_o mercy_n will_v be_v rather_o defer_v the_o long_a for_o it_o though_o the_o lord_n be_v before_o in_o a_o way_n of_o mercy_n yet_o this_o distemper_n of_o your_o heart_n be_v enough_o to_o put_v he_o out_o of_o his_o course_n of_o mercy_n and_o though_o he_o have_v thought_n that_o you_o shall_v have_v the_o thing_n before_o yet_o now_o you_o shall_v not_o have_v it_o if_o you_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o give_v such_o a_o thing_n to_o your_o child_n yet_o if_o you_o see_v he_o in_o a_o discontent_a fret_a way_n you_o will_v not_o give_v it_o he_o and_o this_o be_v the_o very_a reason_n why_o there_o be_v so_o many_o mercy_n deny_v to_o you_o because_o of_o your_o discontentment_n you_o be_v discontent_v for_o want_n of_o they_o and_o therefore_o you_o have_v they_o not_o you_o do_v deprive_v yourselves_o of_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o your_o own_o desire_n because_o of_o the_o discontentment_n of_o your_o heart_n because_o you_o have_v not_o your_o desire_n and_o be_v not_o this_o a_o foolish_a thing_n 3_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o folly_n in_o this_o there_o be_v many_o foolish_a carriage_n common_o that_o a_o discontent_a heart_n be_v guilty_a of_o they_o carry_v themselves_o foolish_o towards_o god_n and_o towards_o man_n there_o be_v such_o expression_n and_o such_o kind_n of_o behaviour_n come_v from_o they_o as_o make_v their_o friend_n to_o be_v ashamed_a of_o they_o many_o time_n their_o carriage_n be_v so_o unseemlie_o they_o be_v a_o shame_n to_o themselves_o &_o their_o friend_n 4_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o folly_n in_o discontent_n and_o murmur_a for_o it_o do_v eat_v out_o the_o good_a and_o sweetness_n of_o a_o mercy_n before_o it_o come_v if_o god_n shall_v give_v a_o mercy_n that_o we_o be_v discontent_v for_o the_o want_n of_o yet_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o mercy_n be_v as_o it_o be_v eat_v out_o before_o we_o come_v to_o have_v it_o discontent_n be_v like_o a_o worm_n that_o eat_v the_o meat_n out_o of_o the_o nut_n and_o then_o when_o the_o meat_n be_v eat_v out_o of_o it_o than_o you_o shall_v have_v the_o shell_n if_o a_o child_n shall_v cry_v for_o a_o nut_n that_o have_v the_o meat_n eat_v out_o or_o all_o worm-eaten_a what_o good_a will_v the_o child_n have_v by_o have_v the_o nut_n so_o such_o a_o outward_a comfort_n you_o will_v fain_o have_v and_o you_o be_v trouble_v for_o the_o want_n of_o it_o but_o the_o very_a trouble_n of_o your_o spirit_n be_v the_o worm_n that_o eat_v out_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o mercy_n and_o then_o perhaps_o god_n give_v it_o you_o but_o give_v you_o it_o with_o a_o curse_n mix_v with_o it_o that_o you_o be_v better_a not_o have_v it_o than_o have_v it_o that_o man_n or_o woman_n that_o be_v discontent_v for_o want_n of_o some_o good_a thing_n if_o god_n do_v give_v that_o good_a thing_n to_o they_o before_o they_o be_v humble_v for_o their_o discontent_n that_o do_v proceed_v from_o they_o such_o a_o man_n or_o woman_n can_v have_v no_o comfort_n of_o the_o mercy_n but_o it_o will_v be_v rather_o a_o evil_a than_o a_o good_a to_o they_o and_o therefore_o for_o my_o part_n if_o i_o shall_v have_v a_o friend_n or_o brother_n or_o one_o that_o be_v as_o dear_a to_o i_o as_o my_o own_o soul_n that_o i_o shall_v see_v discontent_v for_o the_o want_n of_o such_o a_o comfort_n i_o shall_v rather_o pray_v lord_n keep_v this_o thing_n from_o they_o till_o thou_o will_v be_v please_v to_o humble_v their_o heart_n for_o their_o discontent_n let_v not_o they_o have_v the_o mercy_n till_o they_o come_v to_o be_v humble_v for_o their_o discontent_n for_o the_o want_n of_o it_o for_o if_o they_o have_v it_o before_o that_o time_n they_o will_v have_v it_o without_o any_o blessing_n and_o therefore_o it_o shall_v be_v your_o care_n when_o you_o find_v your_o heart_n discontent_v for_o want_n of_o any_o thing_n to_o be_v humble_v for_o it_o think_v thus_o with_o yourselves_o lord_n if_o that_o that_o i_o do_v so_o immoderate_o desire_v shall_v come_v to_o i_o before_o i_o be_v humble_v for_o my_o heart_n be_v immoderate_o set_v upon_o they_o before_o you_o have_v they_o as_o it_o be_v with_o rachel_n she_o must_v have_v child_n or_o else_o she_o die_v well_o say_v god_n see_v you_o must_v you_o shall_v have_v they_o but_o though_o she_o have_v a_o child_n she_o die_v according_a to_o what_o she_o say_v give_v i_o child_n or_o else_o i_o die_v so_o in_o regard_n of_o any_o other_o outward_a comfort_n people_n may_v have_v the_o thing_n but_o often_o time_n they_o have_v it_o so_o as_o it_o prove_v the_o heavy_a cross_n to_o they_o that_o ever_o they_o have_v in_o all_o their_o life_n such_o a_o child_n as_o you_o be_v discontent_n for_o the_o want_n of_o it_o it_o may_v be_v it_o be_v sick_a and_o your_o heart_n be_v out_o of_o temper_n for_o fear_n that_o you_o shall_v lose_v it_o and_o god_n restore_v it_o but_o he_o restore_v it_o so_o as_o he_o make_v it_o a_o cross_n to_o your_o heart_n all_o the_o day_n of_o your_o life_n one_o observe_v concern_v manna_n when_o the_o people_n be_v content_v with_o their_o allowance_n that_o god_n allow_v they_o than_o it_o be_v very_o good_a but_o when_o they_o will_v not_o be_v content_a with_o god_n allowance_n but_o will_v gather_v more_o than_o god_n will_v have_v they_o then_o say_v the_o text_n there_o be_v worm_n in_o it_o so_o when_o we_o be_v content_a with_o our_o condition_n and_o that_o that_o god_n dispose_v of_o we_o to_o be_v in_o there_o be_v a_o blessing_n in_o it_o then_o it_o be_v sweet_a to_o we_o but_o if_o we_o must_v needs_o have_v more_o and_o keep_v it_o long_o than_o god_n worse_o and_o heaviour_n for_o a_o discontent_a heart_n be_v a_o proud_a heart_n and_o a_o proud_a heart_n will_v not_o pull_v down_o his_o sail_n when_o there_o come_v a_o tempest_n and_o storm_n if_o a_o mariner_n when_o a_o tempest_n and_o storm_n come_v shall_v be_v froward_a and_o will_v not_o pull_v down_o his_o sail_n but_o be_v discontent_v with_o the_o storm_n be_v his_o condition_n the_o better_a because_o he_o be_v discontent_v and_o will_v not_o pull_v down_o his_o sail_n will_v this_o help_v he_o just_o so_o be_v it_o for_o all_o the_o world_n with_o a_o discontent_a heart_n a_o discontent_a heart_n be_v a_o proud_a heart_n and_o he_o out_o of_o his_o pride_n be_v trouble_v with_o his_o affliction_n and_o be_v not_o content_v with_o god_n dispose_n and_o so_o he_o will_v not_o pull_v down_o his_o spirit_n at_o all_o and_o make_v it_o bow_v to_o god_n in_o this_o condition_n in_o which_o god_n have_v bring_v he_o now_o be_v his_o condition_n the_o better_a because_o he_o will_v not_o pull_v down_o his_o spirit_n no_o certain_o abundant_o worse_a a_o thousand_o to_o one_o but_o the_o tempest_n and_o storm_n over-whelms_a his_o soul_n and_o thus_o you_o see_v what_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o folly_n there_o be_v in_o the_o sin_n of_o discontentment_n the_o nine_o evil_n of_o murmur_v and_o discontentment_n be_v this_o there_o be_v a_o mighty_a deal_n of_o danger_n in_o the_o sin_n of_o discontentment_n for_o it_o exceed_o provoke_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n it_o be_v a_o sin_n that_o do_v much_o provoke_v god_n against_o his_o creature_n we_o find_v mark_v what_o follow_v after_o i_o have_v hear_v the_o murmur_n of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n you_o murmur_v it_o may_v be_v other_o hear_v you_o not_o nay_o it_o may_v be_v you_o speak_v not_o at_o all_o or_o but_o half-word_n yet_o god_n hear_v the_o language_n of_o your_o murmur_a heart_n and_o those_o mutter_a speech_n and_o those_o half-word_n that_o come_v from_o you_o and_o observe_v further_o in_o this_o verse_n how_o the_o lord_n repeat_v this_o sin_n of_o murmur_a how_o long_o shall_v i_o bear_v with_o this_o evil_a congregation_n which_o murmur_n against_o i_o second_o i_o the_o most_o deject_a creature_n now_o therefore_o so_o much_o discontentment_n as_o thou_o have_v so_o much_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o satan_n thou_o have_v it_o be_v the_o unclean_a spirit_n that_o upon_o every_o cross_n and_o affliction_n why_o we_o must_v complain_v and_o be_v discontent_n all_o the_o day_n of_o our_o life_n yea_o god_n in_o just_a judgement_n will_v let_v thing_n fall_v out_o on_o purpose_n to_o vex_v those_o that_o have_v vex_v spirit_n and_o discontent_a heart_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n that_o they_o shall_v live_v disquiet_v all_o their_o day_n and_o man_n will_v not_o much_o care_n to_o disquiet_v those_o that_o be_v continual_o murmur_v oh_o they_o will_v have_v disquiet_v all_o their_o day_n last_o there_o be_v this_o dreadful_a evil_n in_o discontent_n and_o murmur_a god_n may_v just_o withdraw_v his_o care_n off_o you_o and_o his_o protection_n over_o you_o see_v god_n can_v please_v you_o in_o his_o administration_n we_o use_v to_o say_v so_o to_o discontent_a servant_n nay_o if_o you_o be_v not_o please_v mend_v yourselves_o when_o you_o will_n if_o you_o have_v a_o servant_n not_o content_a with_o his_o diet_n and_o wage_n and_o work_v you_o say_v mend_v yourselves_o so_o may_v god_n just_o say_v to_o we_o we_o that_o profess_v ourselves_o servant_n to_o he_o to_o be_v in_o his_o work_n and_o yet_o be_v discontent_v with_o this_o thing_n or_o that_o in_o god_n family_n god_n may_v just_o say_v mend_v yourselves_o what_o if_o god_n shall_v say_v to_o any_o of_o you_o if_o my_o care_n over_o you_o do_v not_o please_v you_o then_o take_v care_n of_o yourselves_o if_o my_o protection_n over_o you_o will_v not_o please_v you_o then_o protect_v yourselves_o now_o all_o thing_n that_o do_v befall_v you_o befall_v you_o through_o a_o providence_n of_o god_n and_o if_o you_o be_v those_o that_o belong_v to_o god_n there_o be_v a_o protection_n of_o god_n over_o you_o and_o a_o care_n of_o god_n now_o if_o god_n shall_v say_v well_o you_o shall_v not_o have_v the_o benefit_n of_o my_o protection_n any_o long_o and_o i_o will_v take_v no_o further_o care_n of_o you_o will_v not_o this_o be_v a_o certain_o it_o be_v fit_a for_o we_o to_o fall_v down_o and_o submit_v to_o he_o and_o not_o to_o oppose_v when_o god_n come_v with_o a_o mighty_a stream_n against_o we_o it_o be_v our_o best_a way_n be_v so_o trouble_v that_o they_o be_v in_o danger_n to_o miscarry_v and_o to_o make_v away_o themselves_o there_o be_v not_o one_o in_o ten_o thousand_o that_o be_v in_o such_o
covenant_n of_o grace_n god_n make_v sure_a the_o stock_n be_v keep_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n and_o we_o must_v go_v to_o he_o for_o supply_v continual_o for_o christ_n keep_v the_o stock_n perhaps_o we_o may_v trifle_v away_o somewhat_o in_o our_o trade_n but_o god_n take_v that_o care_n still_o we_o stall_v never_o spend_v the_o stock_n as_o a_o man_n when_o his_o son_n break_v have_v squander_v away_o his_o stock_n that_o he_o give_v he_o before_o afterward_o he_o put_v his_o stock_n into_o a_o friend_n hand_n and_o say_v he_o you_o shall_v keep_v the_o stock_n and_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v at_o his_o dispose_n so_o we_o be_v in_o a_o more_o settle_a condition_n in_o respect_n of_o our_o eternal_a estate_n than_o adam_n be_v in_o innocence_n therefore_o let_v that_o comfort_v to_o be_v bring_v low_o as_o in_o these_o time_n perhaps_o a_o man_n that_o have_v five_o or_o six_o hundred_o a_o year_n but_o now_o have_v have_v nothing_o for_o a_o great_a while_n if_o that_o have_v have_v so_o fair_a weather_n all_o day_n you_o that_o be_v go_v a_o voyage_n if_o you_o have_v a_o comfortable_a wind_n and_o very_o fair_a for_o many_o month_n together_o what_o if_o you_o have_v a_o little_a storm_n when_o you_o be_v within_o sight_n of_o land_n will_v you_o murmur_v and_o repine_v oh_o no_o but_o rather_o bless_v god_n that_o you_o have_v have_v such_o a_o comfortable_a voyage_n so_o long_o oh_o this_o consideration_n will_v help_v we_o all_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o now_o god_n shall_v say_v well_o you_o shall_v never_o see_v comfortable_a day_n silent_a but_o thy_o soul_n must_v be_v silent_a there_o may_v be_v a_o sullen_a discontentednesse_n of_o heart_n as_o well_o as_o a_o discontentednesse_n manifest_v in_o word_n and_o if_o thou_o do_v not_o mortify_v that_o inward_a sullenness_n if_o thou_o be_v afflict_v a_o little_a more_fw-mi it_o will_v break_v forth_o at_o last_o and_o thus_o the_o lord_n i_o hope_v have_v meet_v with_o the_o chief_a reason_n and_o plea_n for_o our_o discontent_n in_o our_o condition_n i_o beseech_v you_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n consider_v these_o thing_n and_o because_o they_o do_v concern_v your_o help_v you_o to_o this_o grace_n of_o contentment_n it_o be_v a_o most_o excellent_a grace_n of_o admirable_a use_n as_o you_o have_v hear_v and_o the_o contrary_n be_v very_o sinful_a and_o vile_a sermon_n xi_o philippian_n 4.11_o for_o i_o have_v learn_v in_o whatsoever_o state_n i_o be_o therewith_o to_o be_v content_a 1645._o now_o we_o be_v come_v to_o the_o close_a of_o this_o point_n of_o contentment_n that_o jesus_n christ_n do_v teach_v those_o that_o be_v in_o his_o school_n we_o have_v open_v the_o point_n unto_o you_o and_o show_v you_o wherein_o the_o art_n and_o skill_n and_o
