XCIII THe Lord reigneth he is clothed with majesty the Lord is clothed with strength wherewith he hath girded himself THe Lord doth reign he cloathed is with Majestie throughout The Lord is cloth'd with strength wherewith he girds himself about The world also is established that it cannot be moved 2 Thy throne is established of old thou art from everlasting The world is also stablished that it can not depart 2 Of old thy throne is fix'd and thou from everlasting art 3 The flouds have lifted up O Lord the flouds have lifted up their voice the flouds lift up their waves 3 The floods have lifted up O Lord the floods they high their voice Have lifted up the floods their waves do list up with a noise 4 The Lord on high is mightier then the noise of many waters yea then the mighty waves of the sea 4 Then many waters noise the Lord is mightier on hie Yea more then the most mighty waves that are within the sea 5 Thy testimonies are very sure holinesse becometh thine house O Lord for ever 5 The testimonies that are thine are very sure together And holinesse thy house O Lord becometh ev'n for ever PSAL. XCIV O Lord God to whom vengeince belongeth O God to whom vengeance belongeth shew thy self O Lord our God to whom belongs the vengeance as most due O Lord to whom the vengeance is thy self now do thou shew 2 Lift up thy self thou judge of the earth render a reward to the proud 3 Lord how long shall the wicked how long shall the wicked triumph 2 Lift up thy self Judge of the earth reward the proud also 3 How long Lord shall ill men How long shall ill men triumph so 4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things and all the workers of iniquitie boast themselves 4 How long time shall they utter thus and speak things hard that be And all those likewise boast themselves that work iniquitie 5 They break in pieces thy people O Lord and afflict thine heritage 6 They slay the widow and the stranger and murther the fatherlesse 5 Lord they in pieces break thy folk and heritage distresse 6 The widow they and stranger slay and murder fatherlesse 7 Yet they say The Lord shall not see neither shall the God of Iacob regard it 8 Understand O ye brutish among the people and ye fools when will ye be wise 7 Yet God shall not regard say they nor Jacobs God it see 8 Ye brutish people understand fools when wise will ye be 9 He that planted the ear shall he not hear he that formed the eye shall he not see 9 Shall he that planted hath the ear not hear how all things be And he that formed hath the eye shall he himself not see 10 He that chastiseth the heathen shall not he correct he that teacheth man knowledge 〈◊〉 not he know 10 He that the heathen doth chastise correct shall he not now And he that knowledge teacheth man shall he himself not know 11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man that they are vanity 12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest O Lord and teachest out of thy law 11 That thoughts of men are vanity the Lord himself he saw 12 Blest is the man thou chastnest Lord and teachest from thy law 13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity untill the pit be digged for the wicked 13 That thou mayst give him rest from days of great adversitie Untill that for the wicked man the pit it digged be 14 For the Lord will not cast off his people neither will he forsake his inheritance 14 For sure the Lord will not cast off those that his people be Nor yet his own inheritance forsake at all will he 15 But judgement shall return unto righteousnesse and all the upright in heart shall sollow it 15 But judgement shall return again unto that which is right And all shall follow after it that are in heart upright 16 Who will rise up for me against the evill doers or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity 16 Who will for me 'gainst them rise up that doers are of ill 'Gainst them that work iniquity who stand up for me will 17 Unlesse the Lord had been my help mâ—… soul had almost dwelt in silence 17 Unlesse the Lord had been to me a help as I have felt My soul with trouble vexed had almost in silence dwelt 18 When I said my foot slippeth thy mercie O Lord held me up 19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. 18 When Lord I said my foot doth slip thy mercy held me right 19 Thy comforts in my many thoughts they do my soul delight 20 Shall the throne of iniquitie have followship with thee which frames mischief by a law 20 Shall thus of great iniquity the throne without all aw Have fellowship with thee which frames mischief ev'n by a law 21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous and condemn the innocent bloud 21 Themselves together gather they against the souls of men That righteous are and they the blood that 's innocent condemne 22 But the Lord is my defence and my God is the rock of my refuge 23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniâ—…uity 22 But God is my defence my God rock of refuge is hy 23 And he upon them all shall bring their own iniquity And shall cut them off in their own wickednesse yea the Lord our God shall cut them off And al 's in their own wickednesse he â—…all cut off them all Yea he that is the Lord our God them so cut off he shall PSAL. XCV O Come let us sing unto the Lord let us make a joyfull noise to the rock of our salvation COme let us sing unto the Lord and let us make anone A joyfull noice unto the rock of our salvation 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyfull noise unto him with Psalmes 2 Let us before his presence come with thanksgiving and take Unto us Psalmes that unto him we joyfull noise may make 3 For the Lord is a great God and a great king above all gods 4 In his hands are the deep places of the earth the strength of the hils is his also 3 For God a great God and great King above all gods he is 4 The depths of earth are in his hand strength al 's of hills is his 5 The sea is his and he made it and his hands formed the dry land 6 O come let us worship and bow down let us kneel before the
hand and his holy arme him victory hath won 2 The Lord hath made known his salvation his righteousnesse hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heaâ—…hen 9 The Lord he his salvation hath made for to be known In heathens sight his righteousnesse he openly hath shown 3 He hath remembred his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God 3 To Isra'ls house of mercy he and truth hath mindfull been Yea the salvation of our God all ends of earth have seen 4 Make a joyfull noise unto the Lord all the earth make a loud noise and rejoye and sing praise 4 O all the earth unto the Lord make ye a joyfull noise And do ye make a noise aloud sing praises and rejoice 5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp with the harp and the voice of a psalm 6 With trumpets and with sound of cornet make a joyfull noise before the Lord the King 5 With harp with harp unto the Lord with voice of psalmes sing 6 With Cornets Trumps make joyfull noise before the Lord the King 7 Let the sea roar and the fulnesse thereof the world and they that dwell therein 8 Let the flouds clap their hands and the hils be ioyfull together 7 The sea let and its fulnesse roar the world and there that dwell 8 Let floods clap hands together let the hils in joy excell 9 Before the Lord for he cometh to judge the earth with righteousnesse shall he judge the world and the people with equity 9 Before the Lord for earth to judge he commeth speedily The world with justice people al 's he 'le judge with equity PSAL. C. MAke a joyfull noise unto the Lord all ye lands 2. their enemies there was not one of them left 12 Then beleeved they his words they sang his praise 11 Their foes the waters covered of them left was not one 12 Then they believed all his words they likewise in their company a fire was kindled then The flame thereof that did break forth burnt up the wicked men 19 They made a calf in Horeb and worshipped the molten image 19 Upon the hill of Horeb al 's a golden calf they made And to the image worship gave that there they molten had 20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grasse 20 Thus he that was their glory then by them there changed was Into the likenesse of an Ox that eateth up the grasse 21 They forgat God their Saviour which had done great things in Egypt 21 They God their Saviour so forgat which by his mighty hand Had in his favour to them done great things in Egypt land 22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham and terrible things in the Red sea 22 Most wondrous works within the land of Ham performed he And things that were most terrible even hard by the red sea 23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach to turn away his wrath lest he should destroy them 23 Therefore he said he would them slay had Moses his choise one Not stood in breach to turn his wrath from their destruction 24 Yea they despised the pleasant land they beleeved not his word 25 But murmured in their tents and hearkned not unto the voice of the Lord. 24 Yea they despisde the pleasant land they not believ'd his word 25 But murmur'd in their tents and not the voice heard of the Lord. 26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them to overthrow them in the wildernesse 7 To overthrow their seed also among the nations and to scatter them in the lands 26 Therefore in desert them to slay 'gainst them he lifts his hands 27 'Mong nations to ov'rthrow their seed and scatter in the lands 28 They joyned themselves also unto Baal-Peor and ate the sacrifices of the dead 28 To Baal-Peor also they did joine themselves indeed And sacrifices ate that were then offred to the dead 29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions and the plague brake in upon them 29 Thus unto anger they him there provoked by the sin Of their own ill inventions the plague on them brake in 30 Then stood up Phinehas and executed judgement and so the plague was stayed 30 But Phinehas then there did stand up and judgement he that day Did execute and so at last the fearfull plague did stay 31 And that was counted unto him for righteousnesse unto all generations for evermore 31 And unto him for righteousnesse that counted was therefore Yea unto generations all and that for evermore 32 They angred him also at the waters of strife so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes 32 They at the waters al 's of strife then did him angry make So that it there went very ill with Moses for their sake 33 Because they provoked his spirit so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips 33 Because that they his Spirit thus provoked bitterly So that he did then with his lips speak unadvisedly 34 They did not destroy the nations concerning whom the Lord commanded them 35 But were mingled among the heathen and learned their works 34 They as the Lord commanded them the Nations did not slay 35 But 'mong the heathen mingled were and learned so their way 36 And they served their idoles which were a snare unto them 37 Yee they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils 36 And they their idols then did serve which were to them a snare 37 Yea they to devils did sacrifice their sons and daughters there 38 And shed innocent blood even the blood of their sons and of their daughters whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan 38 Bloud innocent yea ev'n their Sons and daughters bloud they shed Whom to Canaans idols they then sacrifices made And the land was polluted with blood 29 Thus were they defiled with their ow works and went a whoring with their own in ventions The land polluted was with blood 39 Their works them did defile And so they then a whooring went with their inventions vile 40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance 40 Against his people kindled was the wrath of God therefore In so much that he did his own inheritance abhorre 41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen and they that hated them ruled over them 41 And he in wrath them gave into the hand of heathen men And they that them did greatly hate them overruled then 42 Their enemies also oppressed them and they were brought into subjection under their 〈◊〉 42 They that al 's were their enemies oppressd them in the land And they into subjection were brought underneath their hand 43 Many times did he deliver them but they provoked him with their counsell and were brought low for their iniquity 43 He many times deliv'red them but with their counsel they Did him provoke and were brought low for their iniquity 44 Neverthelesse he regarded their affliction when he heard their cry 45 And he remembred for them his covenant 44 Yet he their trouble did regard when as their cry he heard 45 And he the cov'nant that was his for them remembered And repented according to the multitude of his mercies 46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives After his mercies multitude 46 he did repent And made Them to be piti'd of all that them captives carri'd had 47 Save us O Lord our God and gather us from among the heathen to give thanks unto thy holy name and to triumph in thy praise 47 O Lord our God do thou us save from 'mong the heathen gather To thank thy holy Name and in thy praise triumph together 48 Blessed be the Lord God
