and_o as_o by_o the_o body_n we_o take_v as_o it_o be_v roar_v in_o the_o earth_n so_o by_o the_o soul_n again_o we_o take_v hold_v of_o heaven_n and_o glorify_v our_o lord_n and_o maker_n and_o this_o be_v the_o principal_a end_n of_o our_o creation_n be_v then_o at_o our_o first_o frame_v fit_v for_o so_o high_a and_o sublime_a employment_n and_o all_o the_o faculty_n of_o our_o soul_n be_v then_o bend_v upon_o our_o god_n his_o honour_n and_o glory_n wherein_o be_v then_o place_v man_n chief_a felicity_n and_o pleasure_n but_o afterward_o this_o so_o noble_a a_o creature_n by_o the_o subtle_a serpent_n persuasion_n rebel_v and_o take_v up_o arm_n against_o his_o lord_n and_o master_n and_o so_o forfeit_v that_o great_a and_o glorious_a estate_n by_o which_o mean_v both_o the_o soul_n that_o sublime_a and_o celestial_a substance_n and_o all_o the_o power_n and_o faculty_n of_o the_o same_o be_v now_o become_v sinful_a prone_a to_o evil_n and_o averse_a from_o any_o good_a now_o this_o same_o soul_n although_o in_o the_o estate_n of_o innocency_n yet_o be_v not_o without_o certain_a power_n or_o affection_n as_o love_n joy_n anger_n fear_v the_o which_o affection_n or_o power_n the_o soul_n now_o by_o sin_v have_v now_o not_o lose_v but_o be_v become_v altogether_o sinful_a and_o evil_a and_o call_v now_o in_o sinful_a man_n animi_fw-la pathemata_fw-la seu_fw-la perturbationes_fw-la the_o passion_n or_o perturbation_n of_o the_o mind_n the_o which_o exorbitant_a affection_n as_o they_o be_v displease_v to_o the_o almighty_a god_n so_o be_v they_o many_o time_n very_o hurtful_a to_o health_n and_o in_o sickness_n be_v oft_o the_o cause_n of_o no_o small_a mischief_n to_o the_o patient_a for_o the_o which_o cause_n it_o shall_v not_o be_v amiss_o to_o say_v something_o of_o they_o be_v especial_o rank_v among_o these_o six_o thing_n not_o natural_a have_v already_o handle_v the_o five_o former_a rest_v now_o this_o six_o and_o last_o the_o stoic_n indeed_o will_v have_v bring_v in_o a_o certain_a apathy_n or_o blockish_a stupidity_n among_o man_n whereby_o they_o shall_v be_v as_o it_o be_v insensible_a and_o not_o affect_v with_o any_o thing_n whatsoever_o which_o we_o altogether_o disclaim_v now_o as_o concern_v the_o diversity_n of_o opinion_n and_o some_o controversy_n betwixt_o physician_n and_o philosopher_n or_o betwixt_o philosopher_n themselves_o concern_v the_o seat_n and_o place_n of_o residence_n of_o these_o affection_n or_o passion_n as_o not_o be_v so_o pertinent_a for_o
