do_v constitute_v and_o make_v they_o church-officer_n if_o this_o be_v full_o grant_v nothing_o be_v gain_v against_o we_o for_o we_o be_v far_o from_o think_v that_o ordination_n do_v constitute_v or_o make_v church_n officer_n much_o less_o do_v we_o imagine_v that_o imposition_n of_o hand_n do_v it_o but_o from_o hence_o we_o gather_v thus_o much_o that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o intendment_n of_o imposition_n of_o hand_n in_o old_a testament_n day_n to_o confer_v a_o office_n and_o therefore_o see_v the_o ceremony_n be_v borrow_v thence_o it_o be_v very_o unlikely_a that_o in_o new_a groundless_a we_o ask_v how_o it_o will_v be_v prove_v that_o john_n give_v a_o commission_n to_o any_o to_o preach_v if_o it_o can_v be_v prove_v that_o he_o do_v the_o objection_n be_v vain_a obj._n 3_o apollo_n ability_n be_v eminent_a he_o be_v eloquent_a and_o mighty_a in_o the_o scripture_n and_o he_o preach_v where_o there_o be_v no_o church_n and_o therefore_o this_o will_v not_o warrant_v their_o preach_n who_o have_v not_o such_o gift_n in_o place_n where_o christ_n be_v know_v answ_n 1._o it_o matter_n not_o how_o eminent_a his_o gift_n be_v the_o question_n be_v not_o whether_o person_n not_o eminent_o gift_v may_v preach_v but_o the_o question_n be_v whether_o person_n so_o eminent_o gift_v as_o according_a to_o gospel-rule_n preacher_n ought_v to_o be_v may_v exercise_v those_o gift_n in_o public_a assembly_n though_o they_o be_v not_o ordain_v to_o office-work_n if_o they_o will_v grant_v that_o man_n of_o like_a ability_n with_o apollo_n may_v preach_v without_o ordination_n then_o they_o can_v with_o any_o colour_n of_o reason_n deny_v a_o like_a liberty_n to_o other_o to_o preach_v without_o ordination_n if_o their_o gift_n be_v so_o eminent_a as_o according_a to_o gospel-rule_n preacher_n ought_v to_o be_v though_o far_o inferior_a to_o apollo_n 2._o the_o objection_n suppose_v that_o gift_a man_n without_o ordination_n may_v preach_v where_o
