if_o he_o do_v well_o with_o a_o good_a mind_n sincere_o and_o hearty_o he_o shall_v receive_v commendation_n but_o otherwise_o disgrace_n and_o shame_n and_o confusion_n of_o face_n for_o be_v so_o wicked_a as_o to_o imagine_v our_o lord_n can_v see_v only_o the_o outside_n of_o thing_n and_o be_v deceive_v by_o fair_a appearance_n 4._o in_o thing_n which_o fall_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o our_o knowledge_n we_o must_v take_v care_v not_o to_o judge_v either_o false_o or_o rash_o or_o hypocritical_o under_o these_o three_o be_v comprehend_v most_o of_o the_o common_a censure_n which_o man_n be_v wont_a to_o pass_v upon_o other_o 1._o and_o then_o we_o judge_v false_o when_o we_o charge_v another_o person_n with_o that_o of_o which_o we_o know_v he_o be_v not_o guilty_a which_o be_v so_o great_a a_o sin_n that_o it_o can_v scarce_o be_v commit_v without_o the_o help_n of_o other_o sin_n which_o throw_v man_n into_o it_o such_o as_o secret_a hatred_n envy_n wrath_n revenge_n for_o which_o we_o have_v only_o some_o slight_a reason_n to_o believe_v this_o forward_a haste_n to_o be_v pass_v our_o judgement_n upon_o man_n though_o we_o be_v well_o inform_v be_v to_o be_v correct_v especial_o when_o we_o declare_v it_o upon_o all_o occasion_n or_o perhaps_o without_o any_o occasion_n but_o to_o do_v this_o before_o we_o be_v well_o inform_v or_o have_v due_o consider_v be_v very_o vicious_a and_o be_v one_o of_o the_o bad_a disposition_n of_o mind_n which_o lead_v we_o to_o judge_v the_o action_n of_o other_o to_o proceed_v from_o worse_a principle_n and_o end_n than_o real_o they_o do_v thus_o man_n be_v sometime_o rash_o accuse_v of_o covetousness_n upon_o the_o account_n of_o such_o action_n as_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o caution_n not_o to_o bestow_v their_o charity_n amiss_o other_o be_v charge_v with_o pride_n and_o neglect_v of_o company_n with_o who_o their_o discretion_n teach_v they_o not_o to_o be_v too_o familiar_a ambition_n and_o court_v the_o favour_n of_o great_a man_n be_v lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o those_o who_o think_v of_o nothing_o but_o only_a to_o please_v god_n in_o do_v that_o which_o prove_v also_o please_v unto_o they_o and_o on_o the_o contrary_a crossness_n and_o perverseness_n be_v charge_v on_o those_o who_o can_v comply_v with_o other_o for_o fear_v of_o offend_a god._n nothing_o be_v more_o common_a than_o to_o kind_n which_o i_o call_v hypocritical_a judgement_n be_v when_o man_n charge_v other_o true_o and_o just_o with_o such_o bad_a thing_n as_o they_o have_v real_o commit_v but_o neither_o out_o of_o dislike_n to_o the_o sin_n which_o they_o condemn_v nor_o with_o any_o design_n to_o do_v good_a either_o to_o the_o guilty_a person_n or_o any_o other_o but_o mere_o to_o gratify_v their_o own_o spleen_n or_o arrogance_n or_o such_o like_a bad_a affection_n to_o which_o our_o saviour_n seem_v to_o have_v have_v some_o respect_n when_o he_o say_v matth._n vii_o 1._o judge_v not_o that_o you_o be_v not_o judge_v for_o it_o follow_v immediate_o why_o behold_v thou_o the_o mote_n that_o be_v in_o thy_o brother_n eye_n but_o consider_v not_o the_o beam_n that_o be_v in_o thy_o own_o eye_n and_o he_o call_v this_o in_o effect_n a_o hypocritical_a judgement_n when_o he_o add_v thou_o hypocrite_n first_o cast_v out_o the_o beam_n out_o of_o thy_o own_o eye_n and_o then_o shall_v thou_o see_v clear_o to_o cast_v out_o the_o mote_n out_o of_o thy_o brother_n eye_n if_o it_o be_v hypocrisy_n to_o find_v out_o small_a fault_n in_o other_o soon_o than_o great_a in_o one_o self_n it_o be_v much_o more_o so_o to_o discover_v any_o fault_n whatsoever_o mere_o to_o please_v some_o bad_a affection_n which_o delight_n in_o speak_v evil_a of_o other_o these_o be_v dangerous_a kind_n of_o judge_v which_o the_o apostle_n here_o require_v we_o to_o forbear_v false_a rash_a or_o hypocritical_a condemn_v of_o other_o the_o first_o of_o they_o be_v slander_n the_o second_o be_v uncharitable_a censure_n the_o three_o be_v ill_o design_v self-love_n envy_n pride_n or_o some_o such_o vice_n which_o we_o harbour_v in_o our_o breast_n and_o so_o i_o proceed_v to_o the_o three_o
