particular_a manner_n that_o it_o be_v sufficient_a to_o move_v the_o most_o senseless_a heart_n to_o retreat_n two_o time_n already_o as_o i_o say_v in_o the_o beginning_n have_v christ_n in_o this_o same_o sermon_n give_v the_o same_o warning_n now_o because_o the_o danger_n be_v great_a even_o the_o damnation_n of_o every_o soul_n that_o labour_v not_o to_o prevent_v it_o and_o man_n be_v his_o own_o satisfaction_n and_o their_o security_n so_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n be_v to_o leave_v this_o world_n and_o consider_v the_o watchfulness_n and_o labour_n of_o our_o spiritual_a enemy_n seek_v to_o devour_v we_o which_o may_v hasty_o be_v do_v if_o once_o we_o be_v take_v at_o unaware_o he_o often_o exhort_v we_o to_o stand_v to_o our_o guard_n and_o at_o last_o in_o his_o own_o person_n set_v the_o watch_n and_o seal_v it_o with_o a_o charge_n of_o punishment_n to_o be_v inflict_v upon_o those_o that_o neglect_n and_o as_o a_o man_n go_v into_o a_o strange_a country_n and_o leave_v his_o house_n 34._o mark_v 13_o 34._o giveth_z authority_n to_o his_o servant_n and_o to_o every_o man_n his_o work_n and_o command_v the_o porter_n and_o all_o to_o work_v and_o watch_v that_o upon_o his_o uncertain_a time_n of_o return_n they_o may_v be_v upon_o a_o instant_n ready_a to_o give_v account_n of_o their_o charge_n so_o our_o lord_n before_o his_o go_v into_o our_o heavenly_a country_n prescribe_v and_o deliver_v to_o every_o man_n his_o charge_n and_o because_o not_o only_o the_o disciple_n but_o every_o other_o soul_n stand_v at_o the_o gate_n of_o heaven_n until_o it_o be_v open_a and_o our_o saviour_n meet_v we_o he_o therefore_o give_v charge_n and_o exhort_v all_o to_o watch_v lest_o they_o be_v find_v sleep_v and_o negligent_a 25.30_o matth._n cause_v we_o to_o walk_v worthy_a of_o our_o call_n and_o to_o watch_v for_o christ_n come_v the_o great_a argument_n to_o move_v we_o to_o watchfulness_n and_o carefulness_n of_o a_o christian_a life_n be_v the_o uncertainty_n of_o our_o life_n and_o the_o continual_a danger_n we_o stand_v in_o to_o be_v arrest_v by_o death_n and_o so_o bring_v present_o to_o a_o fearful_a account_n he_o that_o fear_v the_o thief_n to_o come_v at_o every_o hour_n of_o the_o night_n will_v be_v sure_a to_o spend_v the_o whole_a night_n in_o watch_v we_o be_v ever_o in_o danger_n yea_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o life_n we_o be_v in_o death_n and_o therefore_o while_o we_o live_v our_o soul_n shall_v continual_o watch_v for_o the_o time_n that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n shall_v appear_v for_o our_o deliverance_n out_o of_o this_o mortal_a life_n therefore_o when_o our_o lord_n exhort_v we_o to_o watch_v he_o give_v this_o for_o a_o reason_n we_o know_v not_o the_o day_n etc._n etc._n and_o because_o of_o all_o the_o foolishness_n and_o miserable_a estate_n of_o the_o foolish_a virgin_n this_o be_v most_o lamentable_a that_o beginning_n and_o labour_v for_o the_o marriage_n they_o shall_v notwithstanding_o allow_v a_o purpose_a prodigality_n to_o consume_v a_o uncertain_a time_n and_o so_o be_v take_v at_o unaware_o in_o carelessness_n lose_v their_o expect_a credit_n and_o benefit_n to_o their_o great_a shame_n and_o confusion_n so_o shall_v we_o stand_v in_o awe_n and_o watch_v lest_o that_o day_n come_v upon_o we_o as_o a_o snare_n when_o we_o least_o think_v of_o it_o for_o we_o know_v not_o the_o day_n etc._n etc._n and_o this_o be_v the_o particular_a that_o christ_n urge_v out_o of_o this_o parable_n and_o which_o he_o make_v express_v use_n of_o but_o see_v there_o be_v many_o other_o circumstance_n in_o it_o which_o do_v urge_v this_o exhortation_n and_o by_o good_a consequence_n conclude_v the_o same_o doctrine_n it_o be_v not_o unfitting_a to_o set_v they_o down_o as_o so_o many_o hand_n lay_v one_o and_o the_o same_o burden_n of_o necessary_a watchfulness_n upon_o we_o but_o so_o as_o they_o may_v be_v link_v with_o this_o main_a reason_n of_o the_o uncertainty_n of_o the_o time_n to_o give_v great_a strength_n unto_o they_o when_o all_o our_o reason_n be_v season_v and_o salt_v with_o the_o uncertain_a time_n of_o death_n they_o give_v no_o other_o relish_n nor_o bring_v out_o any_o other_o effect_n in_o a_o understand_a soul_n than_o wariness_n and_o watchfulness_n in_o all_o thing_n according_a to_o the_o wise_a man_n from_o the_o second_o verse_n we_o hear_v that_o few_o be_v to_o be_v save_v and_o the_o power_n of_o damnation_n be_v a_o equal_a enemy_n to_o all_o and_o at_o all_o time_n ready_a to_o take_v hold_n of_o we_o therefore_o we_o shall_v be_v watchful_a see_v we_o know_v not_o etc._n etc._n from_o the_o three_o verse_n we_o find_v it_o true_a that_o most_o of_o man_n content_v themselves_o with_o a_o the_o five_o verse_n the_o time_n of_o our_o life_n and_o of_o christ_n stay_n be_v bestow_v upon_o we_o to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o may_v make_v ready_a against_o he_o come_v which_o if_o it_o be_v within_o a_o day_n or_o a_o hour_n we_o know_v not_o and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v watch_v see_v we_o know_v not_o etc._n etc._n from_o the_o five_o and_o sixth_o verse_n security_n be_v a_o common_a forerunner_n of_o danger_n and_o the_o usher_n which_o make_v way_n to_o destruction_n which_o be_v common_o near_a when_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v further_a off_o but_o when_o it_o come_v be_v uncertain_a but_o ever_o doubtful_a and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v be_v ever_o upon_o our_o guard_n and_o watch_v see_v we_o know_v not_o etc._n etc._n from_o the_o follow_a verse_n be_v by_o reason_n
