deaths-wound_n in_o their_o soul_n as_o god_n of_o old_a by_o bring_v israel_n into_o the_o wilderness_n thereby_o first_o bring_v they_o out_o of_o egypt_n and_o then_o humble_v they_o to_o purpose_n there_o and_o â—ade_v they_o enter_v into_o covenant_n to_o be_v his_o people_n and_o there_o he_o waste_v the_o rebellious_a one_o that_o be_v among_o they_o so_o useful_o however_o irksome_a it_o be_v for_o israel_n to_o be_v bring_v into_o that_o wilderness_n and_o very_o so_o needful_a be_v it_o if_o not_o much_o more_o in_o all_o these_o respect_n that_o god_n shall_v first_o lead_v a_o soul_n into_o this_o darksome_a wilderness_n before_o he_o lead_v they_o into_o canaan_n or_o speak_v comfortable_o unto_o they_o neither_o may_v a_o sinner_n take_v this_o ill_a at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n for_o if_o he_o find_v a_o convert_n pervert_v his_o way_n he_o will_v make_v he_o know_v that_o he_o woe_fw-la again_o in_o the_o wilderness_n by_o bring_v he_o back_o by_o a_o hedge_n of_o thorn_n and_o by_o set_v darkness_n in_o his_o path_n and_o fence_v up_o his_o way_n that_o he_o can_v pass_v therefore_o wonder_v not_o at_o the_o thorn_n hos_n 2.6_o 7._o or_o the_o wilderness_n verse_n 14._o only_o as_o you_o know_v how_o busy_a satan_n be_v to_o lead_v they_o while_o they_o be_v in_o that_o wilderness_n into_o temptation_n so_o that_o it_o be_v call_v the_o of_o sin_n so_o that_o they_o can_v find_v any_o way_n out_o no_o way_n but_o one_o and_o that_o be_v death_n there_o they_o must_v die_v for_o it_o they_o must_v fall_v in_o this_o wilderness_n memorable_a be_v that_o passage_n sin_n the_o sense_n of_o sin_n rom._n 7.9_o sin_n revive_v and_o i_o die_v that_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o sin_n than_o it_o follow_v verse_n 11._o for_o sin_n take_v occasion_n by_o the_o commandment_n deceive_v i_o and_o by_o it_o slay_v i_o when_o the_o terror_n of_o the_o law_n join_v with_o the_o serious_a sense_n of_o sin_n and_o these_o surround_v the_o soul_n this_o be_v the_o entangle_v kill_a wilderness_n
some_o sad_a season_n in_o the_o dark_a and_o bear_v not_o only_o feel_v the_o indignation_n of_o the_o lord_n 4._o but_o at_o length_n god_n shall_v plead_v the_o cause_n of_o such_o a_o soul_n and_o he_o shall_v bring_v it_o forth_o unto_o the_o light_n and_o it_o shall_v behold_v his_o righteousness_n yet_o again_o so_o say_v the_o 9th_o vers_fw-la so_o then_o from_o all_o put_v together_o you_o after_o conversion_n darkness_n bewildr_v we_o as_o to_o the_o exercise_n of_o our_o grace_n and_o very_o my_o brethren_n this_o be_v sad_a to_o purpose_n a_o man_n that_o have_v be_v keep_v in_o a_o dark_a dungeon_n and_o have_v never_o see_v the_o light_n it_o be_v not_o so_o much_o for_o he_o to_o be_v continual_o keep_v in_o those_o chain_n of_o darkness_n but_o for_o a_o man_n that_o come_v out_o of_o a_o light_a room_n to_o walk_v in_o dark_a way_n oh_o this_o be_v sad_a and_o sad_o dangerous_a he_o may_v the_o soon_o stumble_v because_o he_o come_v from_o the_o light_n now_o this_o darkness_n the_o child_n of_o light_n meet_v withal_o whilst_o they_o have_v too_o much_o to_o do_v with_o the_o world_n and_o second_o with_o this_o world_n world_n 1._o the_o dark_a thing_n of_o the_o world_n 1._o the_o world_n will_v be_v as_o it_o have_v ever_o be_v a_o hindrance_n to_o the_o people_n of_o another_o world_n conversion_n indeed_o call_v we_o out_o of_o the_o world_n yet_o after_o conversion_n how_o ready_a be_v we_o to_o be_v tempt_v back_o into_o the_o world_n and_o true_o as_o soon_o as_o we_o be_v in_o the_o world_n again_o so_o soon_o shall_v we_o be_v in_o the_o wilderness_n again_o i_o mean_v so_o soon_o as_o we_o begin_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o custom_n &_o after_o the_o fashion_n of_o this_o world_n oh_o conversion_n for_o the_o present_a bear_v we_o up_o to_o heaven_n and_o say_v the_o soul_n let_v the_o world_n go_v which_o way_n it_o will_v but_o afterward_o our_o old_a acquaintance_n &_o we_o begin_v to_o meet_v again_o and_o to_o parley_v again_o and_o hence_o be_v our_o bewildring_n after_o conversion_n satan_n to_o get_v we_o to_o they_o make_v huge_a use_n of_o darkness_n of_o the_o world_n eph._n 6.12_o we_o wrestle_v against_o the_o ruler_n of_o the_o darkness_n of_o this_o world_n oh_o that_o be_v a_o bewildr_a darkness_n he_o have_v say_v vers_n 11._o take_v the_o whole_a armour_n of_o god_n to_o stand_v against_o satan_n bewildring_n now_o how_o sad_a yet_o how_o frequent_a be_v it_o to_o see_v the_o child_n of_o the_o light_n of_o another_o world_n care_n worldly_n care_n bewilder_v in_o the_o dark_a thing_n of_o of_o our_o faith_n to_o a_o loss_n when_o they_o be_v pure_o call_v forth_o and_o summon_v to_o follow_v aftr_n god_n alone_o hope_n hope_n how_o do_v our_o dark_a hope_n in_o worldly_a vanity_n render_v we_o lose_v creature_n almost_o when_o we_o have_v nothing_o but_o the_o anchor_n of_o spiritual_a hope_n to_o take_v hold_n upon_o how_o be_v we_o bewilder_v in_o the_o dark_a joy_n of_o fear_n love_n etc._n etc._n be_v dark_a principle_n and_o the_o more_o you_o find_v of_o they_o the_o more_o you_o feel_v we_o be_v at_o a_o loss_n for_o the_o contrary_a spiritual_a grace_n now_o the_o old_a serpent_n be_v the_o ruler_n of_o all_o this_o darkness_n therefore_o he_o will_v order_v it_o the_o most_o politic_o that_o possible_o he_o can_v that_o thereby_o he_o may_v the_o more_o effectual_o bewild_a poor_a convert_v one_o i_o have_v hear_v of_o a_o commander_n simile_n simile_n who_o be_v in_o the_o field_n and_o in_o danger_n of_o be_v surprise_v by_o the_o power_n and_o
