justification_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o mercy_n require_v of_o you_o this_o gratitude_n and_o thankfulness_n live_v reason_v 2._o because_o this_o be_v a_o live_a sacrifice_n wherein_o nothing_o be_v to_o be_v slay_v but_o sin_n and_o you_o yourselves_o shall_v live_v consecrate_v unto_o god_n and_o shall_v be_v preserve_v unto_o eternal_a life_n holy_a reason_n 3_o this_o sacrifice_n be_v true_o teach_v and_o lead_v we_o to_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v good_a and_o make_v we_o good_a 2._o it_o be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n who_o accept_v no_o obedience_n but_o what_o be_v prescribe_v in_o the_o word_n 3._o it_o be_v perfect_a comprehend_v all_o thing_n which_o appertain_v to_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n and_o our_o salvation_n therefore_o endeavour_v after_o renew_v your_o mind_n discern_v you_o reason_v 2._o because_o without_o a_o renew_a mind_n and_o spiritual_a we_o can_v discern_v the_o proper_a sense_n of_o the_o divine_a will_n reveal_v in_o the_o word_n and_o know_v it_o we_o can_v approve_v and_o approve_v it_o we_o can_v have_v no_o experimental_a knowledge_n how_o good_a acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o perfect_v it_o be_v in_o it_o srlf_a therefore_o ought_v we_o to_o endeavour_v after_o renovation_n of_o mind_n the_o second_o part._n vers._n 3._o for_o i_o say_v through_o the_o grace_n give_v unto_o i_o to_o every_o man_n that_o be_v among_o you_o not_o to_o think_v of_o himself_o more_o high_o than_o he_o ought_v to_o think_v but_o to_o think_v sober_o according_a as_o god_n have_v deal_v to_o every_o man_n the_o measure_n of_o grace_n the_o second_o part_n of_o the_o chapter_n follow_v wherein_o according_a to_o his_o apostolical_a authority_n which_o he_o call_v grace_n because_o grant_v to_o he_o out_o of_o ineffable_a grace_n he_o one_o body_n in_o christ_n and_o every_o one_o member_n one_o of_o another_o reas._o 3_o include_v in_o the_o same_o similitude_n as_o in_o the_o natural_a body_n many_o member_n constitute_v one_o body_n so_o in_o the_o ecclesiastical_a body_n all_o the_o faithful_a in_o particular_a all_o church
manner_n the_o first_o comparison_n be_v in_o the_o opposite_a state_n of_o a_o natural_a and_o a_o spiritual_a body_n the_o first_o adam_n be_v make_v a_o live_a soul_n not_o give_v life_n which_o have_v a_o life_n indeed_o but_o support_v as_o other_o creature_n be_v with_o meat_n and_o drink_n etc._n etc._n and_o not_o such_o as_o can_v continue_v life_n to_o the_o body_n without_o nourishment_n but_o christ_n the_o last_o adam_n be_v make_v a_o quicken_a spirit_n who_o can_v communicate_v virtue_n to_o those_o that_o be_v he_o by_o his_o spirit_n that_o without_o nourishment_n of_o the_o body_n the_o most_o bless_a union_n of_o body_n and_o soul_n may_v be_v preserve_v vers._n 46._o howbeit_o that_o be_v not_o first_o which_o be_v spiritual_a but_o that_o which_o be_v natural_a and_o afterward_o that_o which_o be_v spiritual_a the_o second_o comparison_n in_o respect_n to_o order_n the_o first_o adam_n have_v the_o precedency_n in_o the_o natural_a state_n of_o future_a mutation_n of_o the_o quality_n of_o the_o body_n from_o earthly_a to_o heavenly_a from_o natural_a to_o spiritual_a by_o four_o argument_n argum._n 1._o such_o as_o be_v the_o earthly_a adam_n the_o head_n of_o our_o stock_n after_o the_o fleshly_a propagation_n such_o it_o become_v we_o to_o be_v bear_v viz._n mortal_a therefore_o as_o the_o heavenly_a adam_n our_o head_n in_o respect_n to_o regeneration_n and_o glorification_n be_v after_o his_o resurrection_n viz._n spiritual_a glorious_a incorruptible_a immortal_a such_o shall_v we_o be_v that_o be_v bear_v again_o of_o he_o after_o our_o resurrection_n vers._n 49._o and_o as_o we_o have_v bear_v the_o image_n of_o the_o earthy_a we_o shall_v also_o bear_v the_o image_n of_o the_o heavenly_a argum._n 2._o from_o its_o future_a certainty_n as_o sure_o as_o we_o bear_v the_o image_n of_o the_o first_o adam_n in_o the_o quality_n of_o our_o substance_n be_v make_v conform_a to_o he_o in_o soul_n and_o body_n so_o sure_o shall_v we_o bear_v the_o image_n of_o the_o second_o adam_n in_o the_o glorious_a quality_n of_o our_o substance_n vers._n 50._o now_o this_o i_o say_v brethren_n that_o flesh_n and_o blood_n can_v inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n neither_o do_v corruption_n inherit_v incorruption_n argum._n 3._o the_o promise_n of_o glorify_v our_o body_n or_o of_o bring_v we_o into_o the_o glorious_a kingdom_n of_o god_n aught_o to_o be_v fulfil_v but_o flesh_n and_o blood_n i._n e._n our_o body_n as_o now_o they_o be_v corruptible_a can_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n glory_n corruption_n by_o way_n of_o confirmation_n to_o this_o reason_n he_o add_v argum._n 4._o corruption_n can_v inherit_v incorruption_n therefore_o necessary_a it_o be_v that_o our_o body_n be_v change_v in_o their_o quality_n from_o corruptibility_n to_o incorruptibility_n vers._n 51._o behold_v i_o show_v you_o a_o mystery_n we_o shall_v not_o all_o sleep_n but_o we_o shall_v all_o be_v change_v objection_n 3_o what_o shall_v become_v of_o those_o that_o be_v alive_a at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n how_o shall_v they_o arise_v which_o shall_v not_o die_v but_o be_v find_v alive_a be_v alive_a and_o dead_a shall_v be_v summon_v by_o a_o fearful_a alarm_n to_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n vers._n 53._o for_o this_o corruptible_a must_v put_v on_o incorruption_n and_o this_o mortal_a must_v put_v on_o immortality_n he_o give_v two_o reason_n of_o this_o change_n first_o mortality_n must_v be_v swallow_v up_o of_o immortality_n and_o this_o mortal_a body_n must_v put_v on_o immortality_n therefore_o they_o shall_v be_v change_v that_o be_v find_v alive_a at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n vers._n 54._o so_o when_o this_o corruptible_a shall_v have_v put_v on_o incorruption_n and_o this_o mortal_a shall_v have_v put_v on_o immortality_n then_o shall_v be_v bring_v to_o pass_v the_o say_n that_o be_v write_v death_n be_v swallow_v up_o of_o victory_n 55._o o_o death_n where_o be_v thy_o sting_n o_o grave_n where_o be_v thy_o victory_n reason_n 2._o the_o prophecy_n of_o hosea_n ought_v to_o be_v fulfil_v chap._n 13._o v._n 14._o who_o foretold_v our_o full_a victory_n over_o death_n and_o the_o grave_n therefore_o they_o that_o be_v alive_a shall_v be_v change_v at_o the_o come_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o shall_v be_v in_o stead_n of_o death_n incestuous_a person_n repentance_n therefore_o by_o way_n of_o mitigation_n he_o say_v that_o he_o add_v in_o part_n for_o the_o incestuous_a person_n sake_n now_o a_o penitent_a lest_o he_o shall_v cast_v a_o burden_n on_o he_o already_o burden_a in_o himself_o if_o he_o shall_v too_o much_o aggravate_v his_o sin_n vers._n 6._o sufficient_a to_o such_o a_o man_n be_v this_o punishment_n which_o righteousness_n be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n they_o deal_v deceitful_o in_o the_o covenant_n and_o fall_v to_o open_a idolatry_n from_o time_n to_o time_n so_o by_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n no_o man_n will_v be_v find_v steadfast_a 3._o for_o the_o punishment_n of_o it_o i_o regard_v they_o not_o in_o the_o hebrew_n it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o i_o lord_v it_o over_o unconstant_a in_o his_o counsel_n and_o action_n and_o no_o less_o ready_a to_o depart_v from_o god_n than_o to_o remain_v with_o he_o hold_v nothing_o firm_o in_o the_o present_a business_n of_o religion_n which_o be_v before_o he_o vers._n 9_o let_v the_o brother_n of_o low_a degree_n rejoice_v in_o that_o he_o be_v exalt_v he_o return_v to_o his_o purpose_n and_o add_v the_o five_o argument_n to_o prove_v that_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o the_o cross_n there_o may_v be_v matter_n of_o joy_n he_o that_o through_o affliction_n or_o the_o cross_n be_v humble_v by_o the_o lord_n can_v glory_v in_o his_o trial_n as_o in_o the_o mark_n of_o his_o adoption_n and_o exaltation_n to_o the_o dignity_n of_o be_v a_o adopt_a son_n of_o god_n and_o to_o the_o privilege_n of_o the_o saint_n which_o preferment_n do_v far_o surpass_v the_o riches_n of_o the_o rich_a and_o the_o throne_n of_o king_n therefore_o you_o ought_v to_o glory_v in_o the_o trial_n which_o the_o cross_n
