he_o will_v most_o sure_o keep_v promise_n in_o both_o so_o although_o the_o godly_a be_v bind_v here_o only_o to_o some_o particular_a duty_n yet_o in_o the_o general_a covenant_n they_o be_v urge_v fail_v and_o be_v false-hearted_a god_n be_v free_a from_o his_o word_n and_o promise_n the_o next_o thing_n in_o the_o covenant_n be_v that_o god_n in_o forbid_v they_o fellowship_n 2._o with_o those_o nation_n and_o command_v they_o to_o pull_v down_o their_o altar_n on_o which_o they_o be_v wont_a to_o offer_v to_o their_o false_a god_n do_v thereby_o cut_v off_o occasion_n from_o they_o of_o commit_v idolatry_n teach_v we_o thereby_o that_o if_o we_o will_v avoid_v the_o occasion_n of_o evil_a we_o shall_v also_o be_v keep_v from_o the_o evil_n themselves_o yea_o gross_a sin_n as_o idolatry_n drunkenness_n adultery_n and_o the_o like_a though_o we_o be_v very_o prone_a to_o commit_v they_o and_o yet_o on_o the_o contrary_a if_o we_o will_v not_o shun_v the_o occasion_n of_o they_o and_o the_o mean_n that_o lead_v to_o they_o we_o shall_v undoubted_o fall_v into_o they_o take_v one_o for_o example_n the_o most_o common_a of_o the_o rest_n if_o we_o be_v foolish_o and_o unbeseeming_a our_o profession_n snare_v with_o some_o woman_n as_o have_v be_v catch_v by_o her_o eye_n lid_n and_o take_v with_o that_o which_o be_v precious_a in_o she_o we_o must_v to_o avoid_v shun_v open_a and_o great_a offence_n also_o so_o by_o the_o contrary_a this_o be_v clear_a that_o if_o we_o grow_v to_o this_o point_n that_o we_o dare_v do_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a in_o god_n eye_n and_o to_o forget_v he_o and_o his_o unspeakable_a kindness_n though_o we_o commit_v not_o by_o and_o by_o the_o gross_a and_o most_o odious_a thing_n yet_o it_o will_v not_o belong_v before_o we_o break_v out_o even_o gross_o wax_v bold_a also_o and_o work_v that_o which_o be_v odious_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n whereas_o we_o ought_v ever_o to_o have_v before_o we_o god_n bounty_n than_o those_o thus_o much_o of_o their_o punishment_n in_o the_o second_o part_n of_o the_o chapter_n the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o chapter_n the_o three_o follow_v in_o this_o six_o verse_n namely_o that_o the_o people_n repent_v 6._o and_o turn_v to_o god_n which_o as_o be_v say_v before_o be_v testify_v and_o declare_v by_o a_o sign_n thereof_o which_o be_v cry_v and_o here_o not_o to_o insist_v upon_o the_o same_o thing_n which_o in_o other_o place_n i_o have_v do_v that_o which_o i_o will_v note_v from_o hence_o be_v this_o that_o see_v they_o now_o seek_v to_o he_o at_o so_o as_o in_o the_o proverb_n because_o you_o will_v not_o hear_v when_o i_o call_v you_o shall_v cry_v and_o not_o be_v 20._o hear_v whither_o go_v they_o then_o but_o if_o he_o do_v what_o a_o and_o the_o manner_n brutish_a they_o want_v and_o will_v have_v to_o defray_v the_o hard_a world_n or_o to_o bestow_v upon_o their_o lust_n and_o to_o maintain_v themselves_o in_o pride_n of_o life_n but_o neither_o work_n they_o because_o they_o think_v it_o be_v a_o sin_n to_o be_v idle_a nor_o because_o they_o look_v for_o any_o other_o fruit_n of_o their_o labour_n save_v the_o bring_n in_o of_o the_o penny_n they_o see_v not_o who_o commandment_n it_o be_v that_o they_o shall_v labour_v genes_n 3._o therefore_o they_o go_v through_o it_o with_o vexation_n discontentment_n distrust_n they_o there_o to_o bless_v they_o in_o their_o work_n as_o well_o as_o when_o they_o be_v occupy_v in_o duty_n mere_o religious_a sinister_a end_n and_o cause_n do_v compel_v the_o most_o to_o yield_v some_o obedience_n to_o god_n commandment_n but_o doubtless_o if_o all_o be_v now_o man_n of_o worth_n and_o may_v live_v of_o themselves_o we_o shall_v have_v few_o worker_n as_o we_o see_v by_o their_o word_n say_v oh_o such_o a_o man_n be_v happy_a why_o because_o he_o need_v not_o work_v nor_o toil_n as_o we_o do_v but_o live_v easy_o and_o enjoy_v the_o world_n at_o will_n and_o by_o diligence_n thereto_o that_o be_v to_o make_v their_o salvation_n sure_a that_o all_o the_o six_o day_n we_o may_v whole_o give_v up_o ourselves_o to_o other_o affair_n without_o so_o much_o as_o
