the_o righteous_a worthy_a of_o such_o mighty_a reward_n that_o they_o ought_v in_o this_o present_a life_n to_o be_v recompense_v with_o healthful_a and_o robu_v constitution_n however_o i_o reply_v not_o only_o on_o the_o behalf_n of_o this_o one_o but_o of_o all_o good_a man_n in_o general_a and_o to_o the_o question_n how_o good_a man_n come_v to_o be_v weak_a and_o infirm_a i_o answer_v brief_o because_o righteous_a person_n labour_v to_o keep_v their_o body_n under_o lest_o if_o they_o be_v vigorous_a and_o robu_v it_o shall_v be_v difficult_a for_o they_o to_o be_v so_o good_a as_o they_o be_v for_o i_o guess_v that_o all_o mankind_n become_v strong_a and_o lusty_a by_o eat_v and_o drink_v plentiful_o and_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n they_o grow_v weak_o by_o abstinence_n temperance_n and_o fast_n and_o therefore_o what_o wonder_n be_v it_o if_o those_o man_n be_v weak_a and_o infirm_a who_o refuse_v to_o make_v use_n of_o the_o mean_n by_o which_o other_o become_v healthful_a and_o strong_a however_o they_o have_v good_a reason_n for_o such_o conduct_n since_o st._n paul_n say_v of_o himself_o i_o keep_v under_o 27._o 1_o cor._n 9_o v._o 27._o my_o body_n and_o bring_v it_o into_o subjection_n lest_o that_o by_o any_o mean_n when_o i_o have_v preach_v to_o other_o i_o myself_o shall_v be_v a_o castaway_n if_o this_o great_a apostle_n thus_o desire_v to_o pull_v down_o his_o body_n it_o can_v be_v no_o great_a wisdom_n to_o nurse_v it_o up_o if_o he_o dread_v a_o robu_v constitution_n there_o be_v no_o good_a christian_n that_o will_v reasonable_o suffer_v those_o hardship_n for_o his_o service_n but_o perhaps_o for_o this_o very_a reason_n you_o will_v pretend_v to_o prove_v that_o god_n do_v not_o regard_v the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n now_o but_o reserve_v they_o entire_o to_o his_o future_a judgement_n because_o for_o the_o most_o part_n good_a man_n suffer_v all_o the_o ill_a thing_n and_o the_o bad_a inflict_v they_o i_o must_v and_o we_o affirm_v that_o he_o will_v sit_v as_o judge_n in_o the_o future_a judgement_n but_o so_o that_o at_o the_o same_o time_n we_o teach_v that_o he_o do_v always_o exercise_v judgement_n in_o this_o world_n for_o since_o god_n do_v always_o govern_v he_o do_v always_o judge_v because_o government_n itself_o be_v the_o exercise_n of_o a_o judicial_a power_n how_o many_o way_n will_v you_o have_v this_o prove_v whether_o by_o reason_n example_n or_o testimony_n if_o by_o reason_n who_o be_v there_o so_o void_a of_o common_a sense_n or_o so_o great_a a_o stranger_n to_o the_o truth_n we_o be_v discourse_v of_o that_o do_v not_o see_v and_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o most_o beautiful_a frame_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o inestimable_a magnificence_n of_o superior_a and_o inferior_a thing_n be_v all_o govern_v by_o the_o same_o glorious_a be_v which_o create_v they_o that_o he_o that_o form_v the_o element_n be_v still_o their_o moderator_n who_o as_o at_o first_o he_o so_o that_o in_o this_o world_n not_o only_a empire_n and_o province_n civil_a and_o military_a affair_n but_o even_o the_o small_a office_n and_o private_a family_n nay_o the_o very_a beast_n and_o the_o most_o minute_n and_o contemptible_a of_o our_o domestic_a creature_n be_v not_o to_o be_v manage_v without_o conduct_n and_o a_o prudent_a and_o orderly_a disposition_n and_o without_o doubt_n it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o thus_o it_o shall_v be_v that_o all_o mankind_n may_v rule_v the_o several_a part_n allot_v they_o after_o the_o pattern_n set_v they_o by_o he_o who_o so_o wise_o steer_v the_o whole_a but_o say_v you_o thing_n be_v thus_o order_v and_o dispose_v in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o creation_n but_o when_o god_n have_v make_v the_o universe_n and_o perfect_v why_o prostrate_v ourselves_o before_o the_o altar_n the_o very_a reason_n of_o all_o prayer_n be_v destroy_v if_o we_o have_v not_o hope_v of_o obtain_v what_o we_o ask_v and_o therefore_o you_o see_v the_o vanity_n and_o folly_n of_o such_o a_o assertion_n which_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v admit_v do_v utter_o destroy_v all_o the_o foundation_n of_o religion_n but_o it_o may_v be_v you_o will_v supplication_n pray_v 1._o 1_o tim._n 2._o v._o 1._o er_n intercession_n and_o give_v of_o thanks_o shall_v be_v constant_o every_o day_n offer_v to_o our_o god_n in_o the_o church_n and_o for_o life_n but_o be_v close_v and_o shut_v up_o to_o those_o of_o this_o life_n or_o how_o come_v we_o in_o our_o prayer_n in_o the_o church_n to_o beg_v of_o god_n present_a security_n if_o we_o think_v we_o be_v not_o hear_v at_o all_o there_o be_v therefore_o no_o prayer_n to_o be_v offer_v for_o our_o present_a safety_n and_o prosperity_n but_o rather_o that_o the_o modesty_n of_o the_o petition_n may_v procure_v audience_n for_o he_o that_o pray_v it_o may_v be_v convenient_a to_o address_v himself_o thus_o lord_n we_o ask_v not_o for_o prosperity_n in_o this_o life_n nor_o for_o the_o good_a thing_n
