out_o our_o race_n and_o come_v to_o that_o period_n which_o god_n have_v appoint_v for_o us._n thus_o far_o of_o the_o proposition_n now_o remain_v the_o proof_n thereof_o in_o these_o word_n of_o the_o text_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o lord_n david_n prove_v the_o death_n of_o the_o saint_n to_o be_v precious_a by_o a_o argument_n not_o fetch_v from_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o thing_n itself_o but_o take_v from_o without_o it_o to_o wit_n from_o the_o testimony_n and_o authority_n of_o god_n in_o these_o word_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v can_v it_o choose_v but_o be_v precious_a which_o the_o lord_n himself_o approve_v and_o high_o esteem_v of_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a
nor_o learn_v nor_o at_o no_o hand_n admit_v any_o other_o judgement_n of_o matter_n than_o that_o which_o they_o have_v receive_v from_o this_o wicked_a world_n but_o let_v they_o look_v to_o it_o they_o that_o now_o follow_v the_o world_n and_o build_v so_o whole_o upon_o the_o like_n of_o the_o multitude_n shall_v hereafter_o perish_v with_o the_o world_n for_o the_o friend_n of_o the_o most_o man_n do_v dislike_v for_o as_o our_o saviour_n say_v 16.15_o luke_n 16.15_o that_o which_o be_v high_o esteem_v among_o man_n be_v abomination_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n as_o namely_o the_o counterfeit_a holiness_n of_o the_o pharisy_n so_o then_o there_o be_v some_o thing_n that_o god_n abhor_v which_o man_n high_o esteem_v of_o and_o think_v the_o like_a on_o the_o contrary_a that_o there_o be_v some_o thing_n again_o which_o man_n despise_v which_o god_n high_o esteem_v of_o as_o holiness_n purity_n instancy_n in_o preach_v the_o word_n in_o season_n out_o of_o season_n powerful_a apply_v of_o the_o doctrine_n and_o such_o like_a now_o therefore_o if_o we_o will_v judge_v aright_o we_o must_v learn_v what_o thing_n be_v approve_v with_o god_n and_o make_v account_n of_o they_o and_o what_o thing_n he_o disapprove_v and_o dislike_n and_o condemn_v they_o and_o never_o regard_v the_o judgement_n of_o man_n to_o the_o contrary_n use_v 3_o three_o be_v the_o right_a judgement_n of_o thing_n to_o judge_v of_o they_o as_o god_n do_v go_n see_v that_o thy_o judgement_n of_o matter_n do_v agree_v with_o go_n then_o if_o we_o believe_v this_o as_o our_o duty_n be_v he_o that_o we_o also_o may_v have_v the_o same_o in_o like_a esteem_n with_o we_o and_o esteem_v all_o other_o thing_n which_o he_o esteem_v not_o as_o dross_n and_o dung_n howsoever_o the_o same_o be_v in_o esteem_n with_o the_o world_n use_v 4_o four_o this_o truth_n serve_v for_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n do_v comfort_n against_o contempt_n and_o discredit_n for_o judge_v of_o matter_n as_o god_n do_v against_o the_o contempt_n and_o loss_n of_o credit_n in_o the_o world_n for_o make_v much_o of_o some_o thing_n which_o god_n esteem_v but_o the_o world_n regard_v not_o and_o for_o set_v light_n by_o some_o other_o thing_n which_o god_n esteem_v not_o but_o yet_o the_o world_n do_v admire_v and_o high_o commend_v they_o thus_o it_o often_o come_v to_o pass_v through_o the_o perverse_a judgement_n of_o man_n and_o their_o self-pleasing_a and_o self-will_n that_o virtuous_a and_o godly_a people_n shall_v be_v light_o regard_v and_o out_o of_o credit_n even_o for_o regard_v that_o which_o the_o most_o care_v not_o for_o and_o for_o not_o regard_v that_o which_o they_o admire_v but_o be_v not_o discourage_v for_o as_o long_o as_o thy_o judgement_n do_v agree_v with_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o they_o do_v not_o thy_o judgement_n be_v better_a than_o they_o and_o as_o much_o contempt_n and_o loss_n of_o credit_n as_o thou_o bring_v upon_o thyself_o by_o this_o mean_n with_o the_o world_n so_o much_o honour_n and_o good_a credit_n thou_o win_v with_o all_o they_o that_o do_v true_o fear_v god_n and_o the_o time_n will_v come_v when_o thy_o judgement_n shall_v be_v approve_v and_o they_o reject_v consider_v of_o it_o and_o take_v comfort_n the_o occasion_n of_o this_o meeting_n now_o as_o touch_v the_o occasion_n of_o this_o our_o meeting_n this_o first_o i_o say_v that_o that_o which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v here_o teach_v we_o to_o hold_v of_o the_o death_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o general_a christian_a charity_n do_v bind_v we_o to_o conceive_v concern_v our_o worthy_a brother_n depart_v in_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n for_o if_o the_o death_n of_o god_n saint_n be_v precious_a in_o his_o sight_n and_o our_o
