approve_v and_o all_o of_o they_o be_v note_v to_o be_v take_v away_o by_o god_n righteous_a judgement_n for_o the_o breach_n of_o his_o law_n and_o commandment_n now_o let_v the_o sincere_a godly_a heart_a unpartial_o compare_v this_o government_n by_o king_n with_o that_o government_n by_o judge_n in_o which_o i_o pray_v god_n to_o direct_v you_o aright_o thus_o have_v i_o endeavour_v to_o present_v to_o our_o view_n the_o king_n that_o reign_v over_o judah_n and_o israel_n the_o lord_n give_v we_o understanding_n to_o consider_v what_o bitter_a fruit_n the_o people_n reap_v by_o change_v their_o form_n of_o government_n i_o shall_v only_o in_o this_o matter_n consider_v that_o doubtless_o these_o king_n many_o of_o they_o or_o other_o in_o their_o room_n will_v have_v be_v much_o better_a have_v the_o people_n keep_v close_o to_o the_o rule_v prescribe_v and_o from_o time_n to_o time_n inquire_v of_o god_n who_o shall_v have_v be_v the_o man_n that_o shall_v have_v govern_v they_o for_o we_o may_v note_v that_o although_o god_n promse_v david_n that_o some_o of_o his_o posterity_n shall_v govern_v yet_o they_o ought_v to_o have_v make_v he_o king_n who_o the_o lord_n shall_v choose_v deut._n 17._o but_o we_o may_v note_v that_o god_n do_v so_o withdraw_v his_o good_a spirit_n from_o the_o people_n that_o i_o remember_v not_o that_o it_o be_v record_v from_o time_n will_v restore_v and_o reform_v government_n so_o that_o we_o shall_v have_v judge_n as_o at_o the_o first_o and_o counsellor_n as_o at_o the_o beginning_n and_o then_o we_o shall_v be_v call_v a_o city_n of_o righteousness_n a_o faithful_a city_n i_o shall_v begin_v to_o propound_v to_o consideration_n this_o scripture_n esai_n 1.24_o thus_o say_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n the_o mighty_a this_o be_v plain_o employ_v in_o these_o word_n i_o will_v restore_v thy_o judge_n as_o at_o the_o first_o etc._n etc._n three_o i_o observe_v that_o at_o this_o time_n when_o the_o prophet_n esay_n write_v this_o sentence_n or_o this_o precious_a promise_n the_o government_n that_o then_o be_v in_o be_v which_o be_v a_o government_n by_o king_n be_v neither_o the_o first_o government_n nor_o the_o best_a or_o pure_a government_n but_o hereby_o note_v to_o be_v a_o corrupt_a government_n if_o this_o be_v not_o the_o plain_a and_o true_a meaning_n of_o these_o word_n i_o believe_v god_n this_o appear_v if_o we_o do_v consider_v that_o the_o way_n how_o and_o cause_n why_o they_o shall_v become_v a_o city_n of_o righteousness_n be_v because_o a_o better_a government_n shall_v be_v to_o the_o church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n and_o that_o which_o then_o be_v in_o be_v shall_v be_v destroy_v but_o then_o the_o government_n be_v by_o king_n four_o i_o observe_v that_o this_o government_n shall_v be_v reform_v or_o regulate_v according_a to_o the_o first_o
watchfulness_n in_o this_o matter_n which_o do_v so_o near_o concern_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o good_a of_o we_o and_o of_o our_o posterity_n i_o find_v that_o god_n do_v describe_v a_o clear_a evident_a and_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o chief_a or_o principal_a judge_n or_o governor_n and_o the_o other_o governor_n inferior_a to_o they_o in_o regard_n or_o respect_n of_o
