maintain_v that_o which_o the_o gospel_n declare_v not_o yea_o which_o stand_v cross_a to_o many_o declaration_n yea_o 4.6_o heb._n 4.6_o and_o to_o the_o scope_n of_o that_o very_a place_n allege_v some_o must_v enter_v which_o appear_v to_o be_v speak_v to_o encourage_v the_o weak_a believer_n to_o abide_v and_o go_v on_o in_o their_o faith_n that_o they_o may_v enter_v the_o rest_n or_o canaan_n 2._o compare_v ch_n 3._o &_o 4._o with_o ch_z 6_o 12-20_a &_o 11._o see_v part_n 3._o ch_n 2._o god_n have_v swear_v to_o give_v abraham_n isaac_n and_o jacob_n and_o their_o seed_n and_o refuse_v and_o so_o enter_v not_o by_o by_o faith_n and_o deprive_v themselves_o of_o a_o personal_a entrance_n when_o the_o time_n come_v yet_o god_n in_o his_o faithfulness_n to_o abraham_n will_v preserve_v a_o seed_n of_o man_n of_o his_o generation_n through_o all_o trouble_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v find_v of_o they_o survive_v at_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v bring_v in_o by_o he_o and_o shall_v enter_v when_o abraham_n and_o all_o that_o sleep_n in_o jesus_n shall_v be_v raise_v and_o enter_v together_o with_o they_o and_o till_o then_o none_o so_o enter_v for_o be_v it_o already_o so_o enter_v our_o hope_n will_v be_v cut_v off_o but_o it_o be_v not_o the_o rest_n yet_o remain_v for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o we_o believe_v and_o abide_v in_o christ_n may_v have_v he_o for_o our_o rest_n and_o so_o be_v enter_v by_o faith_n now_o and_o personal_o at_o christ_n his_o next_o come_v to_o encourage_v all_o believer_n to_o firmness_n and_o constancy_n in_o this_o faith_n be_v the_o drift_n &_o scope_n of_o the_o apostle_n 9.19_o rom._n 9.19_o who_o have_v thus_o open_v the_o same_o methinks_v none_o shall_v be_v so_o void_a of_o fear_n to_o affirm_v any_o purpose_n as_o if_o purpose_v of_o god_n that_o be_v not_o declare_v in_o and_o according_a to_o the_o testimony_n of_o christ_n

faith_n than_o it_o be_v out_o of_o question_n of_o all_o hand_n but_o this_o be_v not_o determinable_a till_o they_o have_v finish_v their_o course_n and_o die_v in_o the_o faith_n so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o difference_n or_o distinguish_v and_o discriminate_v mark_n to_o difference_n one_o believer_n from_o another_o in_o this_o thing_n but_o as_o some_o be_v quite_o fall_v away_o and_o depart_v from_o the_o faith_n and_o other_o die_v in_o the_o faith_n as_o for_o that_o assurance_n of_o faith_n wherethrough_a the_o heart_n may_v be_v thorough_o persuade_v of_o their_o perseverance_n and_o so_o the_o spirit_n abide_v in_o they_o for_o ever_o it_o be_v that_o i_o have_v endeavour_v to_o lead_v all_o believer_n to_o in_o this_o treatise_n as_o may_v be_v see_v in_o
