either_o a_o hasty_a deliverance_n to_o his_o servant_n in_o their_o trouble_n or_o else_o shall_v give_v they_o such_o strength_n and_o patience_n to_o abide_v the_o same_o that_o they_o shall_v have_v as_o great_a joy_n and_o contentment_n in_o time_n of_o adversity_n as_o other_o have_v in_o time_n of_o prosperity_n and_o when_o it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o glorify_v himself_o by_o their_o death_n they_o be_v sure_a of_o the_o joy_n and_o life_n eternal_a take_v heed_n to_o the_o hasty_a deliverance_n of_o 20.4_o hezekiah_n when_o he_o be_v sick_a to_o the_o patience_n of_o job_n and_o to_o the_o long_a suffering_n of_o paul_n which_o he_o do_v bear_v with_o joy_n and_o gladness_n the_o other_o question_n why_o the_o righteous_a suffer_v willing_o the_o trouble_n and_o wrong_n which_o they_o may_v easy_o eschew_v contrary_a to_o man_n nature_n and_o natural_a reason_n shall_v receive_v this_o answer_n this_o say_v our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n if_o any_o man_n will_v come_v after_o i_o 9.23_o let_v he_o deny_v himself_o and_o take_v up_o his_o cross_n daily_o and_o follow_v i_o to_o deny_v ourselves_o be_v to_o quit_v and_o renounce_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v agreeable_a to_o our_o corrupt_a affection_n and_o not_o to_o seek_v and_o haunt_v our_o own_o pleasure_n our_o own_o profit_n our_o own_o praise_n our_o own_o wit_n and_o our_o own_o will_n but_o to_o set_v they_o all_o aside_o in_o so_o far_o as_o they_o may_v be_v hinderful_a to_o the_o true_a service_n and_o worship_v of_o god_n to_o take_v up_o our_o cross_n daily_o be_v to_o prepare_v we_o for_o daily_a affliction_n and_o to_o underlie_v one_o trouble_n after_o another_o for_o the_o obedience_n that_o we_o owe_v to_o god_n and_o to_o follow_v the_o example_n of_o our_o master_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n in_o lead_v a_o holy_a pure_a and_o sincere_a life_n again_o he_o say_v whosoever_o shall_v forsake_v house_n 19.29_o brethren_n or_o sister_n or_o father_n or_o mother_n or_o wife_n or_o child_n or_o land_n for_o my_o name_n sake_n he_o shall_v receive_v a_o hundred_o fold_n more_o and_o shall_v inherit_v everlasting_a life_n and_o again_o he_o say_v he_o that_o lose_v his_o life_n for_o my_o sake_n 10.39_o shall_v save_v it_o now_o concern_v suffering_n of_o injury_n and_o wrong_n thus_o say_v the_o lord_n bless_a be_v they_o that_o suffer_v persecution_n for_o righteousness_n sake_n 5.10_o for_o they_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n whereby_o it_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v that_o they_o that_o suffer_v for_o their_o fault_n and_o offence_n be_v not_o partaker_n of_o this_o blessing_n but_o only_o such_o as_o innocent_o and_o patient_o suffer_v injury_n and_o wrong_n herefore_o the_o apostle_n peter_n say_v let_v none_o of_o you_o suffer_v as_o a_o murderer_n 4.15_o or_o as_o a_o thief_n or_o as_o a_o evil_a doer_n or_o as_o a_o busy_a body_n in_o other_o man_n matter_n but_o if_o any_o man_n suffer_v as_o a_o christian_a let_v he_o not_o be_v ashamed_a but_o let_v he_o glorify_v god_n in_o this_o behalf_n again_o our_o master_n say_v to_o his_o disciple_n 5.11_o bless_a be_v you_o when_o man_n revile_v you_o and_o persecute_v you_o and_o say_v all_o manner_n of_o evil_a against_o you_o for_o my_o sake_n false_o rejoice_v and_o be_v glad_a for_o great_a be_v your_o reward_n in_o heaven_n and_o again_o he_o say_v 5.39.44_o resist_v not_o evil_a but_o whosoever_o shall_v smite_v thou_o on_o the_o right_a cheek_n turn_v to_o he_o the_o other_o also_o item_n love_v your_o enemy_n bless_v they_o that_o curse_v look_v for_o nothing_o again_o and_o your_o reward_n shall_v be_v great_a and_o you_o shall_v be_v the_o child_n of_o the_o most_o high_a for_o he_o be_v kind_a to_o the_o unkind_a and_o to_o the_o evil_a now_o of_o these_o say_n i_o gather_v the_o conclusion_n of_o my_o answer_n that_o the_o righteous_a bear_v such_o reverence_n and_o obedience_n to_o these_o precept_n and_o commandment_n and_o beleve_v these_o promise_n so_o constant_o have_v a_o sure_a hope_n of_o the_o reward_n which_o be_v promise_v that_o they_o despise_v the_o world_n and_o the_o vanity_n thereof_o forsake_v and_o renounce_v their_o house_n riches_n country_n wife_n child_n friend_n and_o possession_n and_o expose_v and_o offer_v themselves_o willing_o to_o all_o kind_n of_o affliction_n and_o trouble_n yea_o to_o the_o very_a death_n itself_o know_v that_o their_o reward_n be_v prepare_v for_o they_o and_o as_o the_o apostle_n paul_n say_v that_o all_o the_o trouble_n which_o they_o can_v suffer_v in_o this_o life_n 8.18_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o that_o glory_n which_o they_o shall_v receive_v it_o be_v here_o then_o to_o be_v mark_v that_o the_o righteous_a receive_v not_o their_o chief_a reward_n in_o this_o world_n but_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v for_o the_o reward_n promise_v be_v a_o everlasting_a reward_n and_o in_o this_o world_n we_o see_v that_o nothing_o be_v everlasting_a but_o all_o temporal_a &_o momentine_a this_o be_v a_o stumble_a block_n to_o natural_a and_o worldly_a man_n to_o wit_n that_o the_o reward_n of_o the_o godly_a as_o appear_v to_o they_o be_v long_o in_o come_v &_o that_o they_o must_v die_v the_o death_n before_o they_o
