of_o assucame_v arise_v from_o the_o soul_n reflect_v and_o look_v back_o upon_o its_o own_o act_n of_o believe_v which_o if_o right_o consider_v will_v be_v of_o great_a use_n and_o importance_n as_o for_o the_o clear_n of_o this_o scruple_n so_o for_o the_o quiet_v of_o doubt_v soul_n who_o by_o their_o believe_v on_o christ_n may_v be_v assure_v of_o this_o that_o he_o die_v for_o they_o and_o that_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o death_n do_v belong_v unto_o they_o this_o i_o shall_v god_n will_v speak_v to_o somewhat_o more_o full_o hereafter_o where_o i_o shall_v show_v you_o that_o there_o be_v more_o true_a solid_a comfort_n to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o other_o the_o old_a way_n than_o in_o this_o for_o the_o present_a only_o take_v notice_n that_o you_o can_v assign_v any_o spiritual_a advantage_n that_o be_v to_o be_v make_v of_o this_o doctrine_n and_o consequent_o can_v give_v any_o good_a reason_n why_o you_o shall_v give_v entertainment_n to_o it_o quest_n disadvantageous_a quest_n the_o doctrine_n of_o universal_a redemption_n how_o disadvantageous_a which_o see_v you_o can_v do_v can_v tell_v i_o what_o you_o may_v gain_v by_o it_o let_v i_o in_o the_o second_o place_n brief_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n show_v
with_o all_o those_o who_o true_o believe_v on_o jesus_n christ_n and_o be_v justify_v and_o sanctify_v by_o he_o they_o do_v now_o serve_v the_o live_a god_n work_v his_o work_n the_o work_n of_o god_n as_o they_o call_v good_a work_n john_n 6.28_o with_o their_o mind_n serve_v the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o paul_n say_v of_o himself_o rom._n 7._o last_o however_o sometime_o the_o flesh_n the_o claim_n to_o a_o interest_n in_o christ_n and_o expect_v to_o receive_v any_o benefit_n by_o his_o death_n see_v that_o we_o be_v such_o as_o have_v a_o regard_n to_o good_a work_n so_o as_o to_o set_v upon_o the_o serious_a and_o conscionable_a practice_n thereof_o obj._n they_o obj._n christ_n have_v wrought_v what_o be_v needful_a for_o they_o but_o happy_o may_v some_o say_v what_o need_v this_o be_v press_v upon_o christian_n for_o who_o christ_n have_v wrought_v whatever_o be_v needful_a so_o as_o there_o be_v no_o more_o require_v from_o they_o in_o order_n to_o their_o justification_n and_o salvation_n but_o only_o to_o believe_v on_o his_o name_n this_o be_v the_o commandment_n say_v st_n john_n that_o we_o shall_v believe_v on_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n 1_o john_n 3.23_o and_o when_o the_o jailor_n demand_v of_o paul_n and_o silas_n sir_n what_o must_v i_o do_v to_o be_v save_v they_o return_v he_o no_o other_o answer_n but_o this_o son_n that_o whosoever_o believe_v on_o he_o shall_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v everlasting_a life_n v._o 16._o and_o again_o v._o last_n he_o that_o believe_v on_o the_o son_n have_v everlasting_a james_n join_v work_n together_o with_o faith_n in_o the_o business_n of_o justification_n in_o that_o know_a text_n causeless_o stumble_v at_o by_o some_o even_o to_o the_o rejection_n of_o the_o whole_a epistle_n jam._n 2.24_o you_o see_v then_o how_o that_o by_o work_n a_o man_n be_v justify_v and_o not_o by_o faith_n only_o not_o that_o work_n have_v any_o proper_a efficiency_n in_o or_o
