they_o or_o who_o life_n be_v not_o total_o free_a from_o the_o stain_n of_o it_o but_o nothing_o be_v more_o plain_a than_o his_o utter_o disow_v the_o christ_n without_o and_o faith_n that_o look_v at_o he_o to_o have_v any_o thing_n to_o do_v in_o the_o victory_n over_o death_n and_o hell_n etc._n etc._n and_o that_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n who_o live_v and_o die_v as_o far_o off_o as_o adam_n and_o not_o by_o imputation_n of_o his_o sin_n commit_v in_o his_o own_o person_n so_o the_o righteousness_n that_o justify_v may_v be_v derive_v in_o spiritual_a regeneration_n whereby_o the_o soul_n be_v dispose_v and_o enable_v to_o work_v righteousness_n by_o that_o spiritual_a life_n and_o vigour_n it_o receive_v from_o he_o as_o its_o root_n answ_n that_o can_v be_v the_o meaning_n for_o then_o the_o condemnation_n speak_v of_o will_v be_v by_o all_o and_o every_o one_o which_o though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o disposition_n to_o sin_n be_v derive_v from_o adam_n by_o natural_a generation_n and_o disposition_n to_o holiness_n by_o regeneration_n from_o christ_n yet_o can_v be_v the_o meaning_n of_o these_o text_n for_o the_o emphatical_a word_n which_o as_o upon_o the_o hinge_n the_o whole_a argument_n turn_v be_v the_o word_n one_o by_o one_o man_n offence_n by_o the_o obedience_n of_o one_o whereas_o if_o the_o objection_n do_v hit_v the_o meaning_n the_o apostle_n must_v rather_o have_v say_v so_o by_o all_o or_o every_o man_n offence_n condemnation_n come_v upon_o all_o but_o there_o be_v no_o mention_n of_o that_o middle_a thing_n man_n corrupt_a disposition_n to_o knit_v condemnation_n to_o adam_n sin_n as_o a_o more_o original_a and_o remote_a cause_n also_o it_o shall_v then_o be_v in_o or_o into_o all_o and_o not_o upon_o all_o object_n 3._o the_o condemnation_n that_o come_v upon_o 10._o all_o and_o that_o reign_v from_o adam_n to_o moses_n be_v but_o temporal_a death_n and_o what_o be_v that_o to_o eternal_a or_o to_o bear_v a_o proportion_n with_o justification_n to_o life_n spiritual_a and_o eternal_a answ_n it_o be_v more_o than_o you_o prove_v or_o can_v prove_v that_o it_o be_v but_o corporal_a and_o temporal_a death_n second_o adam_n jesus_n christ_n object_n 4._o the_o apostle_n james_n say_v what_o 21._o do_v it_o profit_n my_o brethren_n though_o a_o man_n say_v he_o have_v faith_n and_o have_v no_o work_n can_v dogmatical_a or_o historical_a faith_n can_v justify_v or_o so_o act_v on_o the_o promise_n and_o covenant_n as_o to_o put_v we_o under_o the_o imputation_n of_o justify_v righteousness_n for_o such_o a_o faith_n the_o devil_n have_v and_o there_o be_v a_o vast_a difference_n between_o believe_v the_o history_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o this_o be_v the_o dead_a faith_n the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o verse_n 17._o to_o the_o second_o instance_n abraham_n work_n 12._o though_o they_o justify_v his_o faith_n yet_o they_o do_v not_o justify_v his_o person_n and_o the_o
