very_o big_a stature_n but_o also_o of_o great_a may_v authority_n and_o power_n by_o reason_n of_o their_o strength_n and_o use_v their_o force_n to_o the_o tyrannical_a oppression_n of_o other_o with_o great_a violence_n such_o become_v many_o of_o they_o that_o be_v of_o the_o posterity_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o take_v wife_n among_o the_o daughter_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a so_o that_o to_o their_o fleshly_a and_o sensual_a pleasure_n in_o choice_n of_o their_o wife_n they_o add_v extortion_n and_o violent_a oppression_n of_o other_o and_o especial_o of_o the_o power_n sort_n thus_o god_n oftentimes_o deal_v by_o just_a judgement_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o people*_n send_v tyrant_n and_o oppressor_n to_o bear_v rule_n over_o they_o 30._o but_o god_n see_v that_o the_o malice_n of_o man_n be_v great_a 6_o etc_n etc_n and_o it_o repent_v he_o etc_n etc_n by_o this_o we_o see_v the_o 〈◊〉_d of_o sin_n be_v to_o provoke_v the_o heavy_a wrath_n of_o god_n against_o we_o that_o he_o do_v great_o mislike_v in_o it_o even_o so_o because_o god_n the_o maker_n of_o the_o world_n and_o framer_n of_o mankind_n determine_v for_o sin_n by_o the_o instinction_n of_o satan_n liberty_n be_v leave_v to_o christian_n than_o be_v to_o the_o israelite_n for_o i_o do_v not_o see_v but_o that_o christian_n man_n may_v well_o use_v church_n and_o some_o other_o thing_n that_o have_v be_v before_o time_n wicked_o abuse_v and_o apply_v the_o same_o thing_n now_o to_o better_a use_n as_o the_o precept_n for_o avoid_v of_o idolatry_n be_v perpetual_a &_o bind_v all_o age_n so_o this_o commandment_n of_o destroy_v the_o place_n etc_n etc_n be_v but_o temporal_a and_o a_o ordinance_n to_o they_o only_o give_v and_o therefore_o do_v not_o bind_v all_o other_o in_o like_a it_o be_v join_v with_o time_n rousnesse_n and_o the_o want_n of_o the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o trust_v in_o his_o providence_n he_o fear_v if_o he_o shall_v have_v show_v himself_o more_o to_o esteem_v a_o strange_a than_o all_o the_o noble_n of_o his_o country_n and_o for_o his_o cause_n contrary_a to_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o mede_n to_o revoke_v a_o law_n that_o he_o have_v make_v that_o they_o will_v have_v raise_v some_o conspiracy_n and_o rebellion_n against_o he_o to_o his_o great_a trouble_n &_o danger_n of_o his_o kingdom_n wherefore_o at_o the_o length_n after_o the_o stay_n of_o one_o whole_a day_n space_n he_o yield_v and_o contrary_a to_o his_o own_o conscience_n commit_v a_o innocent_a and_o faithful_a servant_n into_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o wicked_a prince_n which_o be_v the_o accuser_n of_o daniel_n that_o there_o may_v not_o be_v so_o much_o as_o a_o suspicion_n of_o any_o sinister_a work_n by_o feed_v the_o lion_n with_o meat_n or_o otherwise_o when_o the_o king_n have_v this_o do_v his_o conscience_n can_v not_o be_v quiet_a for_o that_o he_o have_v hazard_v the_o life_n of_o so_o godly_a a_o man_n but_o go_v home_o with_o sorrow_n and_o heaviness_n forbear_v his_o meat_n and_o sleep_v &_o shun_v all_o occasion_n of_o mirth_n and_o pleasantness_n but_o betimes_o in_o the_o morning_n at_o the_o break_n of_o the_o day_n the_o king_n arise_v 20_o etc_n etc_n the_o speed_n that_o darius_n make_v so_o early_o in_o the_o morning_n declare_v the_o care_n that_o he_o have_v for_o the_o life_n of_o daniel_n and_o can_v not_o stay_v his_o affection_n but_o with_o lamentable_a word_n call_v unto_o he_o and_o daniel_n although_o his_o faithful_a service_n show_v to_o the_o prince_n be_v very_o unthankful_o reward_v yet_o with_o mildness_n of_o spirit_n he_o answer_v and_o neither_o upbraid_v the_o king_n with_o his_o unjust_a sentence_n nor_o inveigh_v with_o one_o word_n against_o his_o accuser_n and_o causer_n of_o all_o his_o danger_n but_o say_v my_o god_n have_v send_v his_o angel_n and_o stop_v the_o lion_n mouth_n he_o say_v not_o i_o be_o alive_a or_o i_o be_o not_o dead_a but_o that_o he_o may_v not_o seem_v unthankful_a to_o the_o author_n of_o his_o deliverance_n my_o god_n say_v he_o have_v send_v his_o angel_n etc_n etc_n to_o the_o confusion_n of_o his_o enemy_n give_v the_o glory_n of_o
