place_n of_o scripture_n worthy_a to_o be_v print_v in_o every_o one_o heart_n see_v it_o teach_v a_o abundant_a entrance_n into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n in_o which_o thing_n there_o write_v the_o saint_n then_o live_v be_v find_v walk_v and_o yet_o be_v of_o so_o great_a importance_n the_o apostle_n care_n be_v to_o put_v they_o still_o in_o mind_n of_o they_o that_o after_o his_o decease_n they_o may_v always_o have_v they_o in_o remembrance_n i_o shall_v give_v you_o some_o of_o the_o word_n and_o leave_v you_o to_o read_v the_o rest_n in_o your_o book_n peter_n write_v to_o those_o believer_n who_o have_v obtain_v like_o precious_a faith_n with_o he_o and_o other_o apostle_n through_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n note_n not_o through_o their_o own_o righteousness_n but_o through_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n he_o exhort_v they_o to_o give_v all_o diligence_n to_o add_v to_o this_o faith_n virtue_n and_o to_o virtue_n knowledge_n and_o to_o knowledge_n temperance_n and_o to_o temperance_n patience_n and_o to_o patience_n godliness_n and_o to_o godliness_n brotherly_a kindness_n and_o to_o brotherly_a kindness_n love_n for_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v in_o you_o and_o abound_v they_o make_v you_o that_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v barren_a argue_v slothful_a nor_o unfruitful_a to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n but_o he_o that_o lack_v these_o thing_n be_v blind_a and_o can_v see_v far_o off_o and_o have_v forget_v that_o he_o be_v purge_v from_o his_o old_a sin_n wherefore_o the_o rather_o brethren_n give_v diligence_n to_o make_v your_o call_n and_o election_n sure_a for_o if_o you_o do_v these_o thing_n you_o shall_v never_o fall_v for_o so_o a_o entrance_n shall_v be_v minister_v unto_o you_o abundant_o into_o the_o everlasting_a kingdom_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n now_o take_v notice_n that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o know_v of_o these_o thing_n but_o the_o walk_n in_o they_o that_o give_v a_o abundant_a entrance_n into_o the_o kingdom_n if_o you_o do_v these_o thing_n say_v the_o apostle_n obj._n doubtless_o it_o be_v a_o happy_a thing_n to_o walk_v and_o live_v in_o these_o admonition_n of_o the_o apostle_n may_v some_o say_v but_o who_o be_v there_o that_o do_v so_o we_o know_v but_o few_o if_o any_o that_o do_v so_o then_o how_o few_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n if_o so_o great_a and_o high_a thing_n be_v to_o be_v live_v in_o answ_n for_o answer_v hereunto_o consider_v these_o thing_n follow_v 1._o that_o there_o be_v various_a station_n in_o religion_n and_o so_o some_o be_v near_o and_o some_o further_o off_o from_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n some_o be_v seek_v it_o with_o their_o face_n thitherward_o as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o zion_n some_o be_v weep_v and_o mourn_v and_o hunger_a and_o thirst_v after_o god_n righteousness_n these_o if_o they_o hold_v on_o be_v under_o a_o blessing_n and_o promise_n to_o be_v answer_v and_o fill_v and_o though_o they_o be_v poor_a in_o spirit_n yet_o they_o be_v the_o kingdom_n and_o in_o due_a time_n they_o shall_v possess_v it_o and_o enter_v into_o it_o some_o be_v near_o the_o kingdom_n as_o that_o young_a man_n be_v who_o have_v keep_v the_o precept_n of_o the_o law_n from_o his_o youth_n which_o christ_n look_v upon_o and_o love_v though_o he_o be_v not_o yet_o able_a to_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n because_o of_o his_o riches_n
