believe_v and_o tremble_v and_o so_o do_v some_o man_n and_o it_o be_v very_o like_a that_o those_o believer_n of_o which_o we_o hear_v before_o john_n 2.23_o and_o 12.42_o have_v that_o faith_n which_o they_o have_v concern_v christ_n force_v upon_o they_o by_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o miracle_n of_o christ_n in_o conjunction_n with_o his_o holy_a life_n and_o doctrine_n which_o be_v too_o hard_o for_o their_o conscience_n and_o evince_v with_o power_n him_z that_o wrought_v they_o to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o it_o may_v be_v they_o may_v have_v a_o desire_n to_o have_v stifle_v that_o light_n and_o to_o have_v overcome_v that_o conviction_n which_o they_o have_v as_o that_o which_o do_v oppose_v that_o carnal_a interest_n of_o praise_n which_o they_o have_v with_o man_n which_o it_o seem_v they_o love_v more_o than_o christ_n and_o therefore_o will_v not_o let_v it_o go_v for_o his_o sake_n and_o be_v not_o this_o the_o case_n of_o such_o who_o hold_v the_o truth_n in_o unrighteousness_n rom._n 1.18_o when_o the_o light_n of_o divine_a truth_n break_v into_o the_o mind_n and_o can_v be_v keep_v out_o but_o convince_v the_o conscience_n that_o thing_n receive_v the_o truth_n as_o he_o assent_v to_o it_o to_o be_v truth_n but_o have_v not_o receive_v the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n by_o consent_v to_o and_o affectionate_o embrace_v what_o it_o enjoin_v and_o shall_v we_o think_v that_o god_n will_v reward_v with_o the_o great_a and_o unspeakable_a blessing_n of_o justification_n and_o salvation_n such_o a_o act_n of_o the_o creature_n as_o his_o sake_n if_o they_o can_v faithful_o obey_v he_o upon_o cheap_a term_n without_o which_o they_o can_v be_v his_o disciple_n and_o that_o they_o diligent_o hearken_v to_o and_o careful_o observe_v whatever_o jesus_n that_o great_a prophet_n have_v speak_v and_o command_v upon_o pain_n of_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o number_n of_o the_o lord_n redeem_v once_o they_o little_o mind_v or_o but_o not_o in_o truth_n nor_o in_o righteousness_n for_o they_o call_v themselves_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o stay_v themselves_o upon_o the_o god_n of_o israel_n the_o lord_n of_o host_n be_v his_o name_n this_o people_n you_o see_v mention_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o be_v call_v by_o it_o look_v upon_o themselves_o as_o his_o people_n call_v themselves_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o thereupon_o stay_v themselves_o upon_o the_o god_n of_o israel_n depend_v upon_o he_o for_o all_o good_a as_o their_o god_n and_o upon_o his_o promise_n as_o if_o make_v to_o they_o and_o thus_o they_o do_v but_o not_o in_o truth_n nor_o in_o righteousness_n for_o this_o profession_n and_o this_o confidence_n of_o they_o be_v accompany_v with_o unfaithfulness_n in_o the_o main_a and_o therefore_o their_o dependence_n upon_o god_n be_v irregular_a and_o deceitful_a god_n have_v no_o where_n engage_v to_o stand_v under_o such_o a_o trust_n but_o the_o contrary_a job_n 8.13_o 14_o former_a part_n of_o my_o discourse_n be_v labour_v to_o deliver_v some_o from_o their_o mistake_n of_o such_o scripture_n as_o promise_v justification_n upon_o believe_v without_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n so_o i_o shall_v here_o also_o add_v a_o few_o word_n to_o save_v they_o from_o the_o danger_n of_o a_o undue_a understanding_n of_o such_o scripture_n as_o represent_v the_o believe_a of_o god_n and_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n etc._n etc._n nor_o yet_o the_o rely_v on_o he_o as_o such_o for_o salvation_n will_v indeed_o avail_v a_o man_n unto_o salvation_n without_o a_o love_a
