manner_n for_o this_o will_v argue_v little_a desire_n after_o life_n and_o will_v bring-on_a more_o deadness_n the_o ordinance_n than_o shall_v be_v go_v about_o serious_o diligent_o and_o with_o great_a carefulness_n yea_o with_o such_o earnestness_n as_o if_o life_n be_v to_o be_v have_v in_o they_o and_o yet_o with_o such_o a_o single_a and_o pure_a dependence_n on_o christ_n for_o life_n as_o if_o we_o be_v not_o about_o the_o ordinance_n at_o all_o this_o be_v the_o right_a way_n of_o go_v about_o ordinance_n 10._o he_o must_v in_o all_o this_o wait_n with_o patience_n without_o in_o sin_v away_o his_o life_n strength_n and_o leg_n as_o he_o do_v 11._o he_o must_v beware_v of_o give_v way_n to_o any_o thing_n that_o may_v increase_v or_o continue_v this_o deadness_n such_o as_o untendernesse_n in_o his_o walk_n unwatchfulnesse_n negligence_n and_o carelessness_n and_o especial_o he_o must_v beware_v to_o provock_n god_n by_o sin_v against_o light_n 12._o he_o will_v also_o beware_v of_o limite_v the_o lord_n to_o any_o set_a measure_n of_o life_n and_o strength_n for_o it_o become_v not_o beggar_n to_o be_v carver_n far_o less_o such_o beggar_n as_o through_o folly_n have_v sin_v away_o a_o good_a portion_n it_o be_v not_o fit_a for_o the_o prodigal_a to_o seek_v â—…_n new_a patrimony_n after_o he_o have_v dilapidate_v the_o former_a it_o may_v suffice_v he_o to_o be_v make_v as_o a_o servant_n 13._o he_o will_v use_v well_o any_o small_a measure_n of_o life_n he_o get_v for_o god_n and_o his_o glory_n get_v he_o but_o one_o talon_n he_o shall_v use_v it_o that_o he_o may_v gain_v thereby_o use_v we_o say_v limb_n and_o have_v limb_n use_v strength_n and_o have_v it_o this_o will_v be_v the_o way_n to_o get_v more_o 14._o he_o will_v be_v take_v on_o the_o vow_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o that_o in_o the_o lord_n to_o walk_v more_o watchful_o in_o time_n come_v charge_v all_o within_o and_o without_o not_o to_o stir_v or_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o depart_v further_o or_o to_o scare_v he_o from_o come_v to_o the_o soul._n as_o to_o the_o last_o particular_a if_o it_o be_v inquire_v 1._o what_o can_v that_o soul_n do_v that_o be_v not_o be_v not_o right_a and_o if_o this_o be_v the_o soul_n must_v look_v out_o to_o christ_n for_o the_o life_n of_o sense_n and_o for_o a_o sight_n of_o the_o provocation_n that_o have_v bring_v on_o that_o condition_n he_o that_o be_v the_o life_n must_v recover_v the_o very_a beginning_n of_o life_n and_o when_o the_o soul_n win_v to_o any_o real_a apprehension_n and_o sense_n of_o this_o deadness_n it_o must_v follow_v the_o course_n former_o prescribe_v for_o a_o recovery_n 2._o but_o it_o will_v be_v ask_v how_o a_o soul_n can_v act_v faith_n in_o such_o a_o case_n and_o if_o it_o can_v act_v faith_n how_o can_v it_o come_v to_o christ_n and_o make_v use_n of_o he_o answer_n it_o be_v true_a while_o the_o soul_n be_v in_o that_o case_n it_o can_v act_v a_o strong_a and_o a_o lively_a faith_n yet_o it_o can_v act_v a_o weak_a and_o a_o sickly_a faith_n and_o a_o weak_a and_o sickly_a faith_n can_v lay_v hold_n upon_o a_o enliven_a christ_n and_o so_o bring_v in_o more_o strength_n and_o life_n to_o the_o soul._n if_o the_o soul_n be_v so_o weak_a as_o that_o it_o can_v grippe_v yet_o it_o can_v look_v to_o he_o that_o can_v quicken_v the_o dead_a and_o have_v help_v many_o a_o poor_a soul_n before_o out_o of_o a_o dead_a condition_n or_o if_o it_o can_v do_v so_o much_o as_o look_v yet_o it_o may_v give_v a_o half-look_a and_o lie_v before_o he_o who_o wait_v to_o be_v gracious_a and_o sustain_v itself_o if_o it_o can_v get_v no_o more_o with_o a_o may_v be_v he_o shall_v come_v 3._o but_o further_o it_o will_v be_v ask_v what_o the_o soul_n can_v do_v
