state_n or_o condition_n in_o which_o the_o believer_n at_o that_o present_a be_v this_o i_o say_v i_o judge_v the_o right_a for_o the_o other_o sense_n represent_v those_o word_n in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n as_o if_o they_o signify_v in_o mind_v the_o love_n of_o god_n or_o the_o like_a be_v include_v in_o the_o word_n building_n up_o yourselves_o on_o your_o most_o holy_a faith_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o consider_v that_o phrase_n and_o therefore_o i_o conceive_v the_o apostle_n will_v not_o speak_v the_o same_o thing_n twice_o in_o the_o same_o breath_n as_o it_o be_v beside_o that_o his_o sentence_n shall_v be_v somewhat_o defective_a in_o omit_v the_o word_n mind_v or_o the_o like_a whereas_o in_o the_o other_o sense_n all_o thing_n be_v plain_a and_o the_o former_a signify_v his_o love_a merciful_a pitiful_a and_o compassionate_a affection_n in_o which_o he_o will_v and_o desire_v the_o good_a of_o the_o party_n love_v and_o do_v that_o that_o he_o see_v needful_a and_o conducible_a thereto_o yet_o so_o as_o not_o in_o the_o mean_a while_n like_v or_o approve_v or_o take_v into_o fellowship_n with_o himself_o the_o party_n love_v because_o of_o the_o unfitness_n and_o incapacity_n in_o the_o present_a condition_n for_o it_o a_o love_n of_o pity_n commiseration_n and_o well-willing_a but_o not_o of_o own_v and_o delight_n and_o so_o it_o be_v say_v tantamount_n justify_v love_n from_o eternity_n but_o only_o as_o we_o say_v of_o a_o love_n of_o pity_n and_o well-willing_a in_o which_o god_n behold_v its_o wretchedness_n by_o reason_n of_o its_o pleasure_n in_o they_o etc._n etc._n 2._o now_o the_o hearty_a believer_n on_o christ_n and_o retainer_n of_o his_o truth_n and_o walker_n therein_o may_v be_v true_o say_v to_o be_v in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o both_o these_o sense_n signification_n or_o manner_n of_o the_o act_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n that_o be_v 1._o in_o the_o love_n of_o pity_n and_o well_o wish_v and_o that_o both_o 1._o as_o they_o be_v in_o adam_n not_o only_o stand_v and_o as_o there_o own_a and_o approve_v as_o his_o innocent_a creature_n for_o of_o his_o love_a man_n there_o we_o have_v nothing_o here_o to_o say_v the_o object_n of_o his_o so_o love_a man_n as_o such_o be_v long_o since_o cease_v in_o adam_n sin_v but_o as_o fall_v and_o yet_o pity_v of_o god_n and_o not_o leave_v destitute_a of_o his_o care_n of_o he_o to_o help_v and_o rescue_v he_o for_o so_o they_o be_v part_n and_o member_n of_o the_o world_n or_o of_o that_o lump_n of_o mankind_n fall_v in_o he_o who_o he_o send_v
