that_o part_n of_o the_o question_n which_o be_v sure_o no_o sin_n for_o instance_n be_v dice_v or_o card_v lawful_a or_o to_o wear_v black_a spot_n as_o the_o manner_n of_o some_o be_v or_o to_o put_v money_n to_o usury_n with_o some_o this_o may_v be_v a_o question_n but_o for_o my_o part_n i_o will_v thus_o resolve_v it_o that_o it_o may_v be_v unlawful_a and_o a_o sin_n to_o play_v at_o card_n or_o die_n or_o to_o put_v on_o those_o strange_a fashion_n or_o to_o practice_v usury_n etc._n etc._n but_o not_o to_o play_v at_o either_o or_o with_o either_o at_o any_o time_n at_o all_o nor_o to_o lend_v upon_o usury_n nor_o to_o conform_v to_o the_o fantastical_a fashion_n of_o dress_v be_v doubtless_o no_o sin_n and_o a_o wise_a soul_n will_v take_v the_o safe_a course_n and_o walk_v in_o the_o sure_a way_n and_o avoid_v all_o appearance_n of_o sin_n as_o well_o as_o all_o sin_n and_o he_o that_o do_v not_o do_v that_o that_o be_v shun_v as_o much_o as_o possible_a all_o eph._n 5.4_o which_o subvert_v whole_a house_n etc._n etc._n and_o foolish_a talk_n be_v number_v for_o sin_n with_o fornication_n and_o uncleanness_n now_o if_o thou_o be_v one_o give_v to_o looseness_n of_o tongue_n and_o vanity_n of_o talk_n 19_o s._n 19_o that_o speak_v much_o and_o any_o thing_n come_v first_o into_o thy_o mind_n either_o to_o vent_v a_o folly_n or_o a_o passion_n to_o speak_v unseemly_a or_o unwise_o gibe_v or_o scoff_v tattle_a or_o talk_v frothy_a compliment_n without_o reality_n and_o lie_v jest_n to_o provoke_v mirth_n tedious_a story_n to_o no_o purpose_n of_o good_a to_o edification_n if_o thy_o tongue_n walk_v in_o this_o road_n and_o thy_o speech_n be_v but_o after_o this_o rate_n of_o vanity_n though_o free_a from_o blasphemy_n oath_n reproach_n rottenness_n rail_v etc._n etc._n yet_o be_v it_o not_o free_a from_o sin_n for_o thy_o word_n be_v vain_a and_o idle_a and_o when_o reformation_n come_v it_o will_v reduce_v thy_o tongue_n to_o and_o bring_v it_o into_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o law_n of_o wisdom_n of_o sobriety_n and_o piety_n and_o lest_o you_o shall_v think_v this_o a_o vain_a monition_n concern_v word_n consider_v what_o christ_n our_o lord_n say_v of_o idle_a word_n i_o say_v unto_o you_o that_o every_o idle_a word_n that_o man_n shall_v speak_v 12.36_o mat._n 12.36_o they_o shall_v give_v a_o account_n thereof_o
