that_o believe_v and_o the_o efficacy_n of_o good_a wine_n depend_v not_o upon_o the_o worthiness_n of_o the_o vessel_n that_o bear_v it_o yet_o none_o will_v put_v good_a wine_n in_o a_o leaky_a vessel_n or_o unfit_a and_o indeed_o as_o unfit_a as_o a_o leaky_a unclean_a vessel_n be_v to_o receive_v good_a wine_n a_o graceless_a man_n be_v as_o unfit_a to_o receive_v the_o dispensation_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v compare_v to_o new_a wine_n in_o the_o scripture_n and_o say_v christ_n no_o man_n put_v new_a wine_n into_o old_a bottle_n for_o indeed_o the_o ministration_n of_o the_o wherewith_o christ_n have_v enlighten_v they_o they_o shall_v receive_v the_o anoint_v and_o by_o it_o their_o eye_n shall_v be_v open_v to_o know_v who_o be_v gracious_a and_o who_o not_o but_o let_v we_o see_v how_o they_o prove_v it_o 1._o say_v they_o we_o can_v know_v it_o immediate_o that_o be_v grant_v 2._o nor_o can_v we_o know_v it_o by_o their_o outward_a work_n unless_o it_o be_v out_o of_o the_o judgement_n of_o charity_n which_o may_v deceive_v we_o for_o all_o the_o work_n which_o a_o godly_a man_n can_v do_v may_v likewise_o be_v perform_v as_o to_o the_o outward_a not_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v a_o savour_n of_o life_n which_o hypocrite_n have_v not_o by_o hypocrite_n to_o this_o we_o answer_v if_o by_o outward_a work_n they_o mean_v such_o as_o come_v under_o the_o outward_a observation_n of_o the_o mere_a outward_a and_o bodily_a sense_n we_o grant_v but_o there_o be_v work_n which_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o although_o they_o remain_v in_o the_o soul_n of_o holy_a man_n yet_o send_v forth_o a_o savour_n of_o that_o life_n and_o spirit_n or_o spiritual_a principle_n that_o be_v the_o root_n of_o they_o through_o the_o outward_a work_v and_o conversation_n which_o can_v and_o do_v reach_v unto_o the_o spiritual_a sense_n of_o other_o where_o they_o be_v and_o this_o savour_n and_o manifestation_n of_o life_n can_v no_o hypocrite_n have_v but_o it_o be_v a_o infallible_a evidence_n of_o sanctification_n in_o measure_n where_o it_o be_v and_o where_o the_o sanctification_n be_v great_a the_o savour_n or_o manifestation_n of_o life_n be_v there_o great_a also_o according_a unto_o this_o paul_n say_v 3.3_o 2_o cor._n 2_o 15_o 16._o c._n 3.3_o we_o be_v a_o good_a savour_n etc._n etc._n and_o paul_n say_v of_o the_o corinthian_n that_o they_o be_v the_o epistle_n of_o christ_n john_n say_v of_o the_o saint_n that_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o lamb_n shall_v be_v in_o their_o forehead_n flow_v out_o they_o may_v be_v discern_v by_o other_o it_o be_v true_a the_o natural_a sense_n can_v discern_v they_o but_o the_o spiritual_a sense_n can_v and_o see_v object_n natural_a and_o spiritual_a sense_n discern_v their_o proper_a object_n the_o student_n grant_v spiritual_a sense_n if_o they_o grant_v they_o to_o be_v true_a and_o real_a they_o must_v grant_v also_o spiritual_a sensible_a object_n which_o may_v be_v as_o certain_o apprehend_v and_o discern_v by_o our_o spiritual_a sense_n although_o the_o object_n themselves_o be_v without_o we_o as_o natural_a object_n without_o we_o may_v be_v apprehend_v by_o the_o natural_a sense_n 3._o nor_o can_v we_o know_v it_o say_v they_o by_o revelation_n but_o how_o prove_v they_o it_o they_o only_o suppose_v they_o have_v prove_v already_o that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n but_o how_o weak_a and_o impertinent_a their_o proof_n be_v be_v above_o show_v but_o here_o note_v that_o by_o revelation_n be_v sufficient_o understand_v the_o revelation_n or_o discovery_n which_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n or_o spiritual_a life_n give_v forth_o in_o holy_a man_n one_o to_o another_o for_o as_o the_o savour_n of_o some_o sweet_a ointment_n be_v a_o sufficient_a revelation_n of_o it_o to_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o natural_a smell_n so_o the_o spiritual_a savour_n of_o the_o spiritual_a ointment_n be_v such_o to_o the_o spiritual_a smell_n last_o whereas_o they_o say_v the_o gift_n of_o discern_a spirit_n be_v never_o common_a to_o all_o this_o we_o deny_v nor_o do_v that_o scripture_n cite_v
