out_o and_o this_o i_o judge_v to_o be_v the_o case_n about_o the_o reason_n of_o god_n plant_v sacramental_a rite_n in_o the_o field_n of_o christian_a religion_n some_o of_o these_o reason_n be_v unto_o their_o maturity_n by_o pass_v through_o first_o the_o state_n of_o childhood_n then_o of_o youth_n in_o the_o way_n thereunto_o now_o as_o in_o the_o infancy_n or_o childhood_n of_o the_o church_n under_o the_o levitical_a law_n all_o matter_n of_o religion_n in_o a_o manner_n and_o thing_n appertain_v unto_o god_n be_v teach_v thereby_o and_o exhibit_v unto_o their_o outward_a sense_n in_o external_a rite_n and_o sacramental_a type_n and_o figure_n in_o great_a number_n whereas_o in_o the_o celestial_a state_n of_o it_o in_o which_o it_o shall_v have_v outgrow_v all_o imperfection_n and_o weakness_n both_o of_o its_o childhood_n and_o youth_n and_o be_v advance_v to_o its_o complete_a stature_n and_o perfection_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o sacramental_a do_n at_o all_o no_o external_a rite_n ceremony_n or_o dispensation_n whatsoever_o but_o only_o spiritual_a and_o immediate_a communication_n of_o mysterious_a light_n and_o knowledge_n from_o god_n and_o same_o respect_n of_o love_n and_o hatred_n unto_o all_o infant_n especial_o that_o he_o put_v no_o such_o vast_a difference_n between_o one_o infant_n and_o another_o as_o his_o eternally-saving_a love_n and_o his_o everlastingly-destroying_a hatred_n do_v import_n for_o in_o respect_n of_o any_o reasonable_a or_o equitable_a cause_n either_o of_o love_n or_o hatred_n all_o infant_n be_v holiness_n and_o every_o other_o save_v qualification_n therefore_o if_o god_n love_v some_o of_o they_o with_o a_o love_n unto_o salvation_n and_o hate_v other_o with_o a_o hatred_n unto_o condemnation_n he_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o respecter_n of_o person_n there_o be_v no_o difference_n at_o all_o in_o or_o between_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o one_o and_o of_o the_o other_o whereon_o to_o build_v that_o different_a award_n of_o affection_n for_o that_o the_o affection_n whether_o of_o love_n or_o of_o hatred_n which_o god_n bear_v unto_o infant_n be_v not_o a_o affection_n of_o mere_a pleasure_n or_o will_v but_o as_o we_o may_v call_v it_o for_o want_v of_o a_o better_a term_n a_o judiciary_n affection_n i_o mean_v such_o a_o affection_n which_o essential_o include_v in_o the_o world_n yet_o according_a to_o the_o true_a estimate_n of_o the_o case_n and_o this_o rule_v by_o the_o scripture_n themselves_o there_o be_v not_o more_o of_o that_o love_n which_o be_v save_v or_o of_o a_o save_a tendency_n in_o the_o one_o of_o those_o dispensation_n then_o in_o the_o other_o for_o upon_o this_o account_n doubtless_o it_o be_v that_o the_o wise_a man_n agur_n desire_v riches_n of_o god_n no_o whit_n more_o than_o poverty_n give_v i_o neither_o poverty_n n_o r_o riches_n prov._n 30.8_o certain_o if_o he_o have_v apprehend_v the_o least_o degree_n of_o god_n save_v love_n towards_o he_o in_o his_o cast_a riches_n upon_o he_o above_o what_o he_o conceive_v in_o his_o send_v he_o either_o poverty_n or_o food_n convenient_a he_o will_v have_v desire_v it_o before_o in_o judgement_n from_o other_o or_o be_v justify_v when_o other_o be_v condemn_v or_o which_o be_v the_o same_o in_o effect_n why_o any_o shall_v be_v love_v with_o such_o a_o affection_n which_o carry_v a_o sentence_n of_o justification_n in_o it_o more_o than_o other_o this_o be_v one_o reason_n demonstrate_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o doctrine_n that_o infant_n may_v lawful_o be_v baptize_v i_o shall_v at_o present_a only_o subjoin_v another_o upon_o the_o same_o account_n if_o god_n before_o and_o under_o the_o law_n judge_v it_o meet_v that_o man_n whilst_o they_o be_v yet_o child_n shall_v be_v admit_v into_o the_o profession_n of_o his_o name_n and_o worship_n or_o into_o his_o church_n by_o the_o door_n of_o a_o sacramental_a solemnity_n and_o have_v no_o where_o declare_v general_a rule_n without_o its_o exception_n so_o in_o the_o case_n of_o the_o rule_n before_o we_o there_o be_v some_o thing_n of_o which_o i_o be_o a_o debtor_n unto_o my_o neighbour_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n of_o which_o i_o be_o not_o hereby_o make_v a_o debtor_n unto_o myself_o it_o be_v my_o duty_n upon_o occasion_n to_o give_v as_o large_a a_o testimony_n unto_o my_o neighbour_n and_o to_o speak_v as_o much_o good_a of_o he_o as_o with_o truth_n and_o knowledge_n i_o can_v but_o it_o be_v not_o proper_a for_o i_o to_o do_v the_o like_a by_o myself_o so_o if_o before_o those_o of_o the_o second_o which_o concern_v the_o interest_n of_o the_o creature_n when_o both_o can_v be_v obey_v as_o when_o we_o can_v but_o either_o betray_v or_o deny_v some_o truth_n of_o god_n which_o he_o have_v make_v know_v to_o we_o and_o so_o sin_n against_o a_o great_a duty_n of_o the_o first_o table_n or_o else_o disobey_v the_o magistrate_n father_n mother_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o expose_v ourselves_o to_o the_o loss_n of_o our_o great_a comfort_n in_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n yea_o it_o may_v be_v of_o life_n itself_o which_o be_v all_o contrary_a to_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o great_a duty_n of_o the_o second_o table_n in_o ordinary_a case_n in_o this_o case_n we_o must_v obey_v the_o charge_n of_o the_o first_o table_n and_o stand_v by_o the_o be_v always_o employ_v in_o the_o actual_a exercise_n of_o these_o or_o any_o of_o these_o duty_n but_o only_o to_o be_v always_o prepare_v and_o ready_a for_o the_o performance_n of_o they_o respective_o upon_o all_o opportunity_n and_o when_o opportunity_n serve_v to_o perform_v they_o actual_o there_o be_v the_o same_o consideration_n of_o all_o affirmative_a precept_n in_o matter_n appertain_v to_o the_o second_o table_n the_o reason_n of_o this_o rule_n be_v because_o it_o be_v meet_v that_o every_o virtuous_a and_o worthy_a action_n '_o as_o well_o one_o as_o another_o shall_v have_v time_n and_o place_n to_o be_v practise_v and_o wrought_v the_o honour_n of_o god_n on_o the_o one_o hand_n and_o the_o conveniency_n of_o the_o world_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n require_v it_o but_o evident_a it_o be_v that_o this_o can_v not_o be_v i_o mean_v orderly_o and_o without_o sin_n if_o any_o commandment_n which_o bind_v to_o the_o practice_n of_o any_o one_o of_o they_o shall_v loveliness_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o soul_n of_o man_n as_o also_o to_o see_v fruit_n that_o be_v outward_o good_a grow_v upon_o their_o own_o proper_a tree_n and_o not_o upon_o those_o that_o be_v counterfeit_a and_o be_v desirous_a to_o make_v his_o law_n spiritual_a and_o not_o bulky_a or_o great_a of_o body_n judge_v it_o meet_v to_o include_v his_o mind_n and_o will_n concern_v all_o thing_n become_v the_o inner_a man_n in_o those_o precept_n wherein_o he_o require_v such_o action_n and_o deportment_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o be_v perform_v by_o the_o outer_a man_n quest_n 35._o what_o be_v the_o nineteenth_o rule_n answ_n where_o the_o external_a act_n of_o any_o sin_n be_v restrain_v there_o all_o inclination_n inward_a motion_n working_n and_o stir_n of_o heart_n towards_o
