not_o be_v publish_v to_o a_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n at_o this_o day_n there_o be_v many_o heathen_n many_o pagan_n that_o never_o have_v the_o scripture_n therefore_o how_o shall_v they_o be_v jndged_a by_o the_o law_n except_o you_o say_v that_o only_o those_o shall_v be_v judge_v by_o it_o that_o have_v be_v under_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o have_v have_v the_o help_n of_o the_o scripture_n we_o answer_v all_o that_o all_o mankind_n and_o every_o particular_a man_n be_v under_o the_o law_n only_o the_o law_n be_v not_o alike_o express_v to_o they_o it_o be_v not_o reveal_v alike_o to_o all_o sort_n all_o have_v the_o law_n and_o the_o law_n write_v too_o but_o either_o it_o be_v write_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n and_o so_o it_o be_v natural_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o the_o son_n of_o man_n or_o else_o in_o the_o scrpture_n and_o so_o it_o be_v more_o clear_o and_o evident_o manifest_v in_o the_o church_n but_o yet_o nevertheless_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v the_o law_n write_v as_o much_o as_o shall_v be_v sufficient_a to_o condemn_v they_o as_o we_o see_v 14._o rom._n 2.14_o say_v the_o apostle_n if_o the_o gentile_n which_o have_v not_o the_o law_n do_v by_o nature_n the_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o law_n they_o have_v not_o the_o law_n be_v a_o law_n to_o themselves_o and_o show_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o law_n write_v in_o their_o heart_n their_o conscience_n accuse_v or_o excuse_v they_o before_o god_n the_o gentile_n that_o have_v not_o the_o law_n that_o be_v not_o the_o law_n write_v in_o the_o scripture_n yet_o nevertheless_o they_o be_v a_o law_n to_o themselves_o that_o be_v they_o have_v certain_a principle_n certain_a rule_n which_o remain_v in_o their_o natural_a conscience_n whereby_o they_o either_o accuse_v or_o excuse_v as_o they_o do_v good_a or_o evil_n and_o even_o these_o do_v show_v that_o they_o have_v a_o law_n that_o do_v bind_v they_o and_o shall_v condemn_v they_o because_o that_o when_o they_o will_v not_o obey_v even_o that_o law_n that_o be_v even_o those_o principle_n whereupon_o their_o conscience_n wrought_v to_o accuse_v or_o excuse_v they_o be_v sinner_n against_o the_o law_n so_o that_o we_o see_v no_o man_n shall_v be_v condemn_v at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n but_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o law_n and_o however_o all_o have_v not_o the_o a_o power_n of_o christ_n such_o a_o power_n whereby_o he_o manifest_v his_o own_o greatness_n and_o sovereignty_n over_o all_o his_o creature_n over_o those_o creature_n that_o have_v not_o sense_n sting_n of_o death_n i_o shall_v only_o at_o this_o time_n insist_v upon_o the_o first_o of_o these_o from_o whence_o i_o shall_v deliver_v that_o which_o if_o it_o please_v god_n to_o accompany_v with_o his_o spirit_n may_v be_v useful_a to_o you_o the_o proposition_n shall_v be_v the_o very_a word_n of_o the_o text._n sin_n be_v the_o sting_n of_o death_n this_o proposition_n i_o will_v not_o have_v you_o understaud_v in_o this_o sense_n only_o death_n that_o death_n come_v in_o by_o sin_n mere_o in_o a_o habit_n though_o that_o be_v true_a too_o but_o understand_v it_o in_o this_o sense_n first_o be_v call_v the_o first_o death_n that_o i_o take_v to_o be_v the_o death_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o sin_n the_o second_o part_n be_v when_o soul_n and_o body_n be_v for_o ever_o close_v up_o in_o hell_n and_o in_o this_o part_n sin_n be_v the_o sting_n and_o remember_v this_o by_o the_o way_n sin_n be_v not_o only_o a_o sting_n now_o but_o it_o will_v be_v a_o sting_n to_o man_n in_o hell_n the_o sting_n the_o deadliness_n the_o exreamity_n of_o punishment_n that_o be_v in_o hell_n it_o be_v receive_v all_o from_o sin_n for_o the_o damn_a in_o hell_n when_o they_o come_v there_o as_o they_o cease_v not_o to_o sin_n so_o the_o sting_n of_o sin_n cease_v not_o to_o be_v with_o they_o and_o it_o may_v be_v deliver_v by_o conjecture_n i_o think_v hell_n be_v no_o hell_n if_o there_o be_v not_o the_o sting_n of_o sin_n there_o so_o than_o you_o see_v what_o death_n the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o principal_o of_o corporal_a death_n but_o it_o may_v be_v extend_v to_o the_o must_v befall_v man_n and_o place_n when_o they_o be_v under_o this_o carnal_a security_n first_o look_v to_o the_o cause_n infidellty_n whence_o be_v it_o that_o man_n that_o be_v not_o at_o peace_n with_o god_n yet_o flatter_v themselves_o that_o they_o shall_v do_v well_o it_o proceed_v from_o that_o unbelief_n and_o infidelity_n that_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n therefore_o they_o flatter_v themselves_o and_o pride_n themselves_o in_o thing_n that_o will_v not_o hold_v they_o up_o in_o the_o end_n i_o say_v infidelity_n be_v the_o cause_n that_o man_n be_v so_o secure_a do_v
