lawful_a to_o be_v eat_v or_o not_o eat_v will_v any_o wise_a man_n oppose_v such_o indifferent_a thing_n to_o a_o ordinance_n and_o institution_n of_o christ_n jesus_n sure_o obedience_n to_o express_v command_n whatsoever_o we_o be_v before_o man_n make_v we_o better_o before_o god_n reas_n 6._o i_o come_v now_o to_o his_o 6_o reason_n p._n 107._o i_o be_o therefore_o for_o hold_v communion_n thus_o because_o the_o edification_n of_o soul_n in_o the_o faith_n and_o holiness_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v of_o great_a concernment_n than_o our_o agree_n in_o or_o contest_v for_o he_o endeavour_v to_o prove_v that_o he_o mistake_v the_o matter_n in_o question_n for_o it_o be_v apparent_a that_o baptism_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o christ_n ordinance_n be_v the_o mean_v appoint_v for_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n and_o if_o so_o the_o argument_n be_v fallacious_a and_o must_v fall_v which_o sure_o he_o be_v himself_o conscious_a of_o and_o therefore_o to_o prevent_v it_o he_o say_v pag._n 109._o know_v that_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n depend_v not_o upon_o neither_o be_v tie_v to_o this_o or_o that_o circumstance_n much_o say_v but_o little_o prove_v wherefore_o in_o short_a i_o may_v answer_v you_o have_v only_o j._n bunyan_n word_n for_o it_o who_o herein_o do_v not_o only_o exclude_v baptism_n but_o also_o whatsoever_o he_o be_v please_v to_o call_v a_o circumstance_n whereof_o the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v one_o by_o his_o own_o confession_n pag._n 64._o so_o that_o it_o also_o be_v exclude_v by_o he_o from_o church-edification_n contrary_a to_o what_o be_v declare_v of_o the_o primitive_a saint_n who_o walk_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n have_v fellowship_n one_o with_o another_o be_v edify_v yea_o paul_n account_v church-discipline_n for_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n 2_o cor._n 13.10_o and_o in_o truth_n all_o gospel-ordinance_n be_v for_o edification_n so_o that_o if_o we_o must_v press_v after_o that_o it_o oblige_v we_o to_o press_v after_o the_o mean_n tend_v thereto_o but_o j._n bunyan_n seem_v to_o put_v a_o little_a gloss_n upon_o the_o matter_n viz._n when_o there_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o godly_a different_a persuasion_n about_o it_o than_o it_o become_v they_o in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n to_o take_v more_o care_n for_o their_o peace_n and_o unity_n than_o to_o widen_v their_o uncomfortable_a difference_n thus_o j._n bunyan_n will_v have_v the_o church_n to_o be_v like_o simeon_n and_o levi_n brethren_n agree_v in_o iniquity_n to_o bear_v with_o sin_n and_o to_o wink_v at_o the_o transgression_n of_o christ_n ordinance_n rather_o than_o to_o disagree_v thereupon_o contrary_a to_o the_o advice_n of_o the_o apostle_n who_o as_o he_o withstand_v peter_n to_o the_o face_n because_o he_o be_v to_o be_v blame_v gal._n 2.11_o direct_v that_o if_o any_o brother_n walk_v disorderly_a viz._n in_o disobedience_n to_o christ_n ordinance_n he_o must_v be_v withdraw_v from_o 2_o thess_n 3.6_o but_o john_n bunyan_n to_o persuade_v the_o church_n to_o strike_v hand_n in_o disobedience_n and_o to_o countetenance_v their_o do_n therein_o allege_v pag._n receive_v a_o just_a recompense_n of_o reward_n which_o must_v needs_o be_v false_a if_o john_n bunyan_n say_v true_a for_o he_o say_v aaron_n transgress_v yet_o moses_n be_v content_a sure_o it_o be_v great_a presumption_n in_o he_o to_o tolerate_v what_o the_o law_n of_o god_n forbid_v but_o the_o text_n allege_v do_v not_o say_v aaron_n transgress_v the_o law_n neither_o do_v it_o say_v the_o performance_n of_o the_o law_n be_v against_o his_o conscience_n these_o be_v but_o john_n bunyan_n fancy_n all_o that_o the_o text_n say_v be_v that_o moses_n be_v angry_a when_o he_o find_v the_o sin-offering_a burn_v and_o say_v wherefore_o have_v you_o not_o eat_v it_o in_o the_o holy_a place_n and_o thereto_o aaron_n answer_v it_o be_v offer_v by_o the_o people_n this_o day_n wherein_o such_o thing_n have_v befall_v i_o that_o if_o i_o have_v eat_v will_v it_o have_v be_v accept_v which_o answer_n when_o moses_n hear_v he_o be_v content_a for_o therein_o the_o law_n be_v the_o occasion_n then_o require_v his_o forbearance_n and_o therefore_o this_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n in_o hand_n it_o be_v no_o more_o than_o if_o a_o christian_a own_v the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o a_o truth_n to_o be_v observe_v shall_v once_o at_o the_o celebration_n thereof_o be_v it_o may_v be_v under_o some_o trouble_n or_o discontent_n absent_v himself_o or_o if_o upon_o some_o special_a occasion_n baptism_n shall_v be_v defer_v for_o some_o hour_n who_o will_v find_v fault_n with_o this_o which_o be_v aaron_n case_n his_o second_o instance_n be_v pag._n 110._o concern_v eldad_o and_o medad_n who_o say_v he_o joshua_n be_v so_o zealous_a against_o because_o they_o prophesy_v in_o the_o camp_n without_o first_o go_v to_o the_o door_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n as_o they_o be_v command_v that_o he_o desire_v moses_n to_o forbid_v they_o numb_a 11.16_o 26._o but_o say_v he_o moses_n call_v his_o zeal_n envy_n pray_v for_o more_o such_o prophet_n know_v although_o they_o fail_v in_o a_o circumstance_n they_o be_v right_a in_o that_o which_o be_v better_a for_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n in_o the_o camp_n be_v that_o which_o please_v moses_n answ_n what_o will_v not_o people_n do_v when_o they_o endeavour_v to_o fight_v against_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n if_o moses_n do_v account_v joshua_n zeal_n envy_n much_o more_o may_v it_o true_o be_v say_v of_o john_n bunyan_n that_o his_o zeal_n herein_o produce_v envy_n i_o may_v in_o opposition_n to_o this_o instance_n allege_v what_o paul_n say_v of_o the_o false_a apostle_n that_o preach_v christ_n out_o of_o envy_n yet_o paul_n rejoice_v that_o christ_n be_v preach_v and_o will_v it_o not_o be_v think_v strange_a that_o any_o shall_v collect_v from_o hence_o that_o their_o act_n be_v lawful_a because_o paul_n rejoice_v therein_o when_o as_o many_o time_n good_a be_v produce_v by_o evil_a act_n but_o further_a eldad_n and_o medad_n in_o their_o prophesy_v do_v nothing_o contrary_a to_o law_n they_o be_v not_o forbid_v to_o prophecy_n nor_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v do_v in_o the_o camp_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a god_n spirit_n come_v upon_o they_o there_o and_o thereby_o they_o be_v induce_v to_o prophesy_v and_o so_o it_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n for_o which_o it_o be_v allege_v by_o john_n bunyan_n unless_o he_o can_v show_v we_o any_o incite_v by_o god_n spirit_n to_o neglect_v baptism_n but_o if_o you_o say_v they_o ought_v to_o have_v go_v to_o the_o door_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n i_o answer_v that_o it_o be_v not_o express_v duty_n to_o be_v perform_v on_o their_o part_n but_o for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o god_n select_v they_o to_o govern_v the_o people_n which_o in_o a_o holy_a modesty_n they_o eschew_v but_o then_o in_o the_o next_o place_n john_n bunyan_n give_v you_o a_o three_o instance_n pag._n 110._o that_o in_o hezekiah_n time_n although_o the_o people_n come_v to_o the_o passeover_n in_o a_o undue_a manner_n and_o do_v eat_v it_o otherwise_o than_o it_o be_v write_v yet_o the_o wise_a king_n will_v not_o forbid_v they_o but_o rather_o admit_v it_o know_v that_o their_o edification_n be_v of_o great_a concern_v than_o to_o hold_v they_o to_o a_o circumstance_n or_o two_o 2_o chron._n 30.13_o 27._o yea_o god_n himself_o do_v like_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o king_n and_o heal_v that_o be_v forgive_v the_o people_n at_o the_o prayer_n of_o hezekiah_n and_o observe_v say_v he_o notwithstanding_o this_o disorder_n as_o to_o circumstance_n the_o feast_n be_v keep_v with_o great_a gladness_n etc._n etc._n answ_n what_o now_o john_n bunyan_n how_o great_a a_o labyrinth_n have_v thou_o bring_v we_o into_o if_o thy_o word_n be_v true_a must_v that_o be_v admit_v in_o the_o church_n yea_o do_v god_n himself_o like_o it_o even_o that_o which_o be_v undue_a yea_o contrary_a to_o what_o be_v write_v sure_o we_o be_v leave_v herein_o if_o this_o be_v so_o to_o every_o man_n fancy_n who_o be_v there_o that_o will_v not_o pretend_v the_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n in_o all_o their_o concern_v and_o how_o shall_v we_o control_v they_o for_o quot_fw-la homines_fw-la tot_fw-la sententiae_fw-la the_o scripture_n must_v not_o be_v our_o judge_n for_o that_o may_v be_v admit_v say_v john_n bunyan_n yea_o well_o like_v by_o god_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o what_o be_v write_v this_o he_o further_o confirm_v pag._n 101._o for_o all_o thing_n say_v he_o even_a law_n themselves_o must_v give_v place_n to_o the_o edification_n and_o profit_n of_o god_n people_n sure_o john_n bunyan_n do_v not_o esteem_v that_o his_o god_n be_v wise_a enough_o when_o he_o make_v law_n as_o to_o foresee_v what_o will_v be_v for_o his_o people_n profit_n and_o edification_n but_o as_o he_o do_v herein_o deprave_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n so_o he_o be_v contrary_a to_o himself_o for_o he_o say_v in_o another_o place_n pag._n 45._o i_o believe_v that_o jesus_n christ_n by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o scripture_n will_v judge_v all_o man_n at_o the_o day_n of_o doom_n now_o this_o can_v be_v if_o the_o word_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o law_n therein_o contain_v must_v give_v place_n to_o a_o pretend_a edification_n of_o the_o people_n will_v not_o that_o viz._n to_o plead_v the_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n if_o his_o word_n be_v true_a be_v a_o good_a excuse_n at_o the_o day_n of_o doom_n but_o i_o hope_v no_o man_n will_v be_v so_o unwise_a as_o to_o believe_v he_o who_o be_v not_o only_o so_o contrary_a to_o himself_o but_o to_o the_o holy_a apostle_n who_o desire_v the_o godly_a by_o the_o example_n of_o himself_o and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o apostle_n to_o learn_v not_o so_o much_o as_o to_o think_v above_o that_o which_o be_v write_v 1_o cor._n 4.6_o and_o so_o much_o the_o rather_o because_o he_o know_v that_o afterward_o there_o will_v arise_v such_o presumptuous_a person_n as_o john_n bunyan_n who_o will_v pretend_v they_o may_v do_v otherwise_o even_o plead_v the_o edification_n and_o ease_n of_o the_o people_n for_o his_o warrant_n 2_o king_n 12.28_o but_o if_o now_o any_o say_v why_o do_v the_o king_n pray_v god_n to_o pardon_v if_o there_o be_v not_o a_o undue_a manner_n in_o the_o eat_n and_o why_o be_v the_o lord_n say_v to_o heal_v the_o people_n if_o they_o do_v not_o offend_v to_o which_o i_o answer_v first_o that_o the_o observation_n of_o the_o passeover_n in_o respect_n to_o the_o time_n when_o it_o be_v keep_v as_o aforesaid_a be_v not_o undue_a nor_o second_o any_o thing_n that_o the_o king_n either_o command_v or_o allow_v yet_o there_o be_v a_o undue_a receive_v the_o passeover_n otherwise_o than_o what_o be_v write_v but_o how_o be_v that_o the_o text_n declare_v that_o there_o be_v a_o intrusion_n of_o many_o of_o the_o people_n who_o have_v not_o cleanse_v themselves_o according_a to_o the_o law_n which_o although_o john_n bunyan_n pretend_v the_o king_n do_v allow_v know_v that_o their_o edification_n be_v of_o great_a concern_n than_o to_o hold_v they_o to_o a_o circumstance_n or_o two_o the_o scripture_n say_v the_o contrary_a viz._n that_o hezekiah_n do_v account_v it_o a_o sin_n and_o not_o at_o all_o for_o edification_n or_o profit_n and_o therefore_o pray_v earnest_o to_o god_n for_o pardon_n lest_o that_o therefore_o his_o anger_n shall_v break_v forth_o against_o they_o unto_o who_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v gracious_o to_o hearken_v and_o heal_v they_o from_o whence_o john_n bunyan_n wicked_o conclude_v that_o god_n do_v like_o it_o and_o thereupon_o urge_v it_o as_o a_o great_a that_o be_v with_o he_o how_o he_o enter_v into_o the_o house_n of_o god_n and_o do_v eat_v the_o shewbread_n which_o be_v not_o lawful_a for_o he_o to_o eat_v neither_o for_o they_o that_o be_v with_o he_o but_o only_o for_o the_o priest_n or_o have_v you_o not_o read_v in_o the_o law_n how_o that_o on_o the_o sabbath-day_n the_o priest_n in_o the_o temple_n profane_v the_o sabbath_n and_o be_v blameless_a why_o blameless_a say_v john_n bunyan_n because_o they_o do_v it_o in_o order_n to_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n from_o whence_o he_o conclude_v if_o law_n and_o ordinance_n have_v be_v break_v and_o the_o breach_n of_o they_o bear_v with_o when_o the_o profit_n and_o edification_n of_o the_o people_n come_v in_o competition_n how_o much_o more_o may_v we_o have_v church-communion_n where_o no_o law_n be_v transgress_v thereby_o answ_n yes_o sure_o for_o where_o there_o be_v no_o law_n there_o be_v no_o transgression_n there_o can_v be_v in_o that_o any_o sin_n but_o john_n bunyan_n have_v forget_v in_o his_o conclusion_n the_o matter_n in_o hand_n which_o be_v not_o whether_o we_o may_v have_v church-communion_n where_o no_o law_n be_v transgress_v which_o he_o need_v not_o have_v take_v such_o pain_n to_o prove_v but_o whether_o we_o may_v have_v church-communion_n with_o person_n not_o obedient_a to_o baptism_n which_o before_o have_v be_v often_o prove_v a_o command_n yea_o a_o necessary_a command_n and_o confess_v by_o himself_o to_o belong_v to_o all_o disciple_n and_o so_o also_o undoubted_o intend_v by_o he_o in_o account_n of_o any_o law_n of_o god_n they_o may_v eat_v yea_o take_v their_o food_n on_o the_o sabbath_n day_n there_o be_v no_o illegality_n therein_o but_o if_o here_o you_o ask_v why_o christ_n do_v not_o tell_v the_o pharisee_n so_o i_o answer_v that_o he_o know_v the_o hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n endeavour_v rather_o to_o convince_v they_o by_o the_o instance_n of_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v blameless_a as_o aforesaid_a because_o god_n the_o great_a lawgiver_n require_v it_o as_o our_o saviour_n give_v we_o the_o like_a instance_n of_o the_o circumcise_n a_o man_n on_o the_o sabbath_n day_n which_o in_o that_o it_o be_v god_n command_n to_o be_v do_v on_o the_o eight_o day_n be_v no_o breach_n of_o the_o sabbath_n when_o it_o happen_v to_o be_v then_o do_v as_o for_o the_o instance_n of_o david_n although_o i_o may_v say_v something_o in_o the_o case_n see_v our_o saviour_n do_v not_o justify_v it_o but_o say_v it_o be_v unlawful_a i_o shall_v conclude_v that_o the_o like_a may_v be_v say_v of_o john_n bunyan_n church-communion_n that_o he_o do_v and_o teach_v that_o which_o be_v not_o lawful_a to_o be_v do_v wherefore_o at_o his_o peril_n it_o will_v be_v for_o teach_v man_n to_o break_v christ_n command_n matth._n 5.19_o although_o
neither_o himself_n apollo_n or_o cephas_n be_v crucify_a for_o they_o and_o also_o one_o baptism_n they_o be_v not_o baptize_v into_o the_o name_n of_o any_o but_o christ_n wherefore_o he_o exhort_v thank_v god_n i_o baptize_v none_o but_o crispus_n and_o gaius_n etc._n etc._n know_v it_o be_v not_o because_o he_o make_v no_o matter_n thereof_o as_o to_o church-communion_n but_o to_o take_v away_o the_o occasion_n of_o their_o contention_n as_o he_o declare_v himself_o lest_o any_o shall_v say_v i_o baptize_v in_o my_o own_o name_n and_o whereas_o john_n bunyan_n seem_v to_o take_v advantage_n at_o those_o word_n i_o know_v not_o whether_o i_o baptize_v any_o other_o and_o from_o thence_o conclude_v contrary_a to_o the_o apostle_n thought_n that_o he_o do_v not_o heed_n who_o be_v baptize_v by_o any_o body_n as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v that_o he_o do_v not_o heed_n whether_o they_o be_v baptize_v or_o no._n i_o must_v answer_v that_o i_o wonder_v any_o wise_a man_n shall_v urge_v such_o a_o conclusion_n from_o paul_n word_n especial_o john_n bunyan_n who_o confess_v baptism_n be_v a_o holy_a ordinance_n and_o be_v obey_v by_o the_o corinthian_n and_o if_o so_o paul_n must_v needs_o know_v they_o be_v all_o baptize_v and_o then_o no_o matter_n by_o who_o viz._n which_o of_o the_o apostle_n but_o to_o take_v away_o that_o occasion_n of_o boast_v concern_v himself_n he_o tell_v they_o he_o do_v not_o know_v whether_o he_o baptize_v any_o but_o the_o person_n aforenamed_a which_o be_v no_o strange_a thing_n for_o a_o minister_n to_o be_v ignorant_a of_o for_o unless_o he_o keep_v it_o a_o register_n how_o shall_v he_o remember_v it_o there_o be_v some_o in_o our_o day_n that_o dare_v not_o slight_a baptism_n touch_v church-communion_n yet_o can_v say_v in_o this_o case_n as_o paul_n do_v further_n whereas_o it_o be_v allege_v that_o paul_n say_v i_o be_v not_o send_v to_o baptise_v but_o to_o preach_v know_v herein_o he_o do_v not_o slight_a baptism_n but_o place_v it_o in_o its_o due_a station_n that_o paul_n be_v send_v to_o baptize_v be_v evident_a for_o he_o tell_v you_o who_o he_o do_v baptize_v and_o if_o he_o have_v no_o commission_n for_o it_o than_o it_o may_v be_v true_o say_v he_o baptize_v in_o his_o own_o name_n but_o he_o intend_v that_o he_o be_v not_o principal_o send_v to_o baptise_v but_o to_o preach_v as_o he_o say_v in_o another_o case_n 1_o tim._n 2.14_o the_o man_n be_v not_o deceive_v but_o the_o woman_n whence_o you_o have_v the_o same_o term_n which_o must_v be_v understand_v the_o man_n be_v not_o primary_o deceive_v but_o the_o woman_n as_o the_o text_n say_v be_v first_o in_o the_o transgression_n in_o the_o next_o place_n john_n bunyan_n begin_v to_o flatter_v and_o tell_v you_o he_o will_v not_o teach_v man_n to_o break_v the_o least_o of_o god_n command_n and_o acknowledge_v therein_o baptism_n to_o be_v a_o holy_a ordinance_n pag._n 123._o a_o duty_n enjoin_v to_o such_o as_o receive_v the_o gospel_n pag._n 122._o but_o it_o be_v the_o abuse_n thereof_o he_o say_v wherein_o he_o himself_o be_v apparent_o guilty_a that_o he_o complain_v against_o and_o therein_o forget_v himself_o and_o say_v without_o any_o ground_n or_o truth_n what_o be_v baptism_n baptism_n be_v nothing_o what_o john_n bunyan_n a_o holy_a ordinance_n nothing_o a_o enjoin_v duty_n nothing_o where_o be_v we_o now_o he_o answer_v pag._n 124._o that_o it_o be_v no_o strange_a thing_n for_o god_n cry_v out_o against_o his_o own_o institution_n when_o abuse_v by_o the_o people_n isa_n 1.11_o 12._o to_o what_o purpose_n be_v the_o multitude_n of_o your_o sacrifice_n etc._n etc._n say_v the_o lord_n reply_n but_o be_v not_o this_o john_n bunyan_n blindness_n or_o at_o least_o his_o crafty_a endeavour_n to_o insinuate_v his_o own_o opinion_n do_v ever_o god_n cry_v out_o against_o his_o own_o institution_n against_o his_o own_o appointment_n no_o very_o the_o complaint_n be_v against_o the_o people_n that_o they_o perform_v such_o thing_n contrary_a to_o god_n institution_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o as_o j._n bunyan_n presume_v to_o say_v that_o the_o ordinance_n be_v nothing_o but_o to_o what_o purpose_n be_v they_o they_o be_v vain_a and_o why_o so_o because_o not_o perform_v according_a to_o the_o institution_n wherefore_o the_o lord_n add_v who_o have_v require_v these_o thing_n at_o your_o hand_n it_o must_v be_v know_v that_o god_n appoint_v the_o manner_n of_o the_o performance_n as_o well_o as_o the_o matter_n yea_o the_o qualification_n of_o the_o person_n perform_v it_o whereof_o if_o any_o be_v want_v we_o swerve_v from_o god_n institution_n wherein_o i_o will_v say_v of_o baptism_n that_o although_o it_o be_v a_o necessary_a duty_n yet_o if_o it_o be_v not_o accompany_v with_o such_o qualification_n as_o god_n require_v it_o profit_v not_o it_o be_v in_o vain_a so_o also_o may_v be_v say_v of_o faith_n which_o without_o work_n be_v dead_a jam._n 2.20_o yet_o very_o it_o will_v be_v strange_a presumption_n for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v in_o general_a faith_n be_v nothing_o yea_o if_o those_o israelite_n who_o isaiah_n speak_v of_o have_v walk_v honest_o as_o to_o man_n which_o it_o seem_v they_o do_v not_o and_o deny_v the_o offer_v sacrifice_n the_o observation_n of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o the_o appoint_a feast_n i_o appeal_v to_o all_o sober_a christian_n whether_o therein_o they_o will_v have_v be_v blameless_a no_o sure_a god_n often_o punish_v for_o the_o neglect_n of_o those_o institution_n and_o therefore_o i_o shall_v conclude_v the_o answer_n to_o this_o reason_n with_o our_o saviour_n word_n matth._n 23.23_o these_o thing_n you_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o not_o to_o leave_v the_o other_o undo_v i_o come_v now_o to_o his_o 9th_o reason_n pag._n 125._o which_o be_v this_o viz._n if_o we_o shall_v reject_v visible_a saint_n by_o call_v saint_n that_o have_v communion_n with_o god_n that_o have_v receive_v the_o law_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v of_o holy_a conversation_n among_o man_n they_o desire_v to_o have_v communion_n with_o we_o as_o much_o as_o in_o we_o lie_v we_o take_v from_o they_o their_o privilege_n and_o the_o blessing_n to_o which_o they_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n answ_n oh_o man_n full_a of_o all_o subtlety_n how_o long_o will_v thou_o labour_v to_o deceive_v can_v a_o man_n consider_v what_o have_v be_v say_v be_v a_o visible_a saint_n that_o deny_v christ_n holy_a ordinance_n can_v we_o be_v assure_v that_o a_o man_n have_v communion_n with_o god_n who_o reject_v his_o counsel_n can_v a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o receive_v the_o law_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n that_o deny_v his_o institution_n and_o life_n in_o disobedience_n to_o a_o duty_n enjoin_v can_v they_o true_o desire_v communion_n that_o refuse_v to_o obey_v baptism_n when_o require_v what_o paul_n say_v to_o the_o corinthian_n and_o other_o saint_n be_v nothing_o to_o our_o present_a purpose_n for_o they_o be_v all_o baptize_v by_o your_o own_o confession_n and_o what_o you_o say_v afterward_o concern_v the_o supper_n be_v as_o little_a unless_o you_o can_v prove_v that_o unbaptised_a person_n have_v right_a thereto_o and_o aught_o to_o participate_v thereof_o which_o when_o you_o do_v you_o may_v peradventure_o have_v a_o further_a answer_n touch_v what_o you_o say_v further_o in_o this_o reason_n stuff_v with_o eighteen_o fancy_n of_o your_o own_o brain_n i_o think_v a_o wise_a man_n will_v not_o judge_v i_o oblige_v to_o answer_v in_o particular_a wherefore_o i_o will_v only_o say_v that_o it_o seem_v like_o the_o design_n of_o baalam_n who_o of_o old_a be_v intend_v to_o curse_n israel_n only_o herein_o appear_v a_o difference_n god_n meet_v baalam_n of_o old_a and_o forbid_v he_o thereby_o restrain_v his_o purpose_a design_n but_o it_o seem_v as_o if_o god_n have_v give_v this_o man_n over_o to_o belch_v out_o the_o fruit_n of_o his_o own_o imagination_n that_o in_o he_o may_v be_v verify_v the_o prediction_n of_o our_o saviour_n matth._n
