now_o if_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o interruption_n and_o a_o gulf_n set_v so_o that_o one_o of_o these_o can_v not_o come_v at_o the_o other_o then_o must_v god_n be_v make_v a_o god_n not_o of_o obedience_n and_o consent_n therefore_o i_o will_v a_o little_a lend_v my_o help_n for_o explication_n hereof_o and_o so_o come_v to_o the_o use_n for_o the_o first_o concern_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o condition_n of_o faith_n my_o purpose_n be_v not_o to_o bring_v in_o large_a discourse_n into_o a_o sermon_n nor_o to_o satisfy_v caviller_n about_o it_o i_o have_v already_o do_v that_o so_o work_n of_o it_o be_v but_o leisurely_o and_o gradual_a hardly_o perceive_v we_o shall_v not_o be_v privy_a to_o it_o if_o god_n do_v not_o point_n at_o it_o by_o sensible_a and_o discernible_a his_o own_o power_n what_o he_o can_v do_v at_o once_o as_o at_o the_o disposition_n of_o such_o as_o he_o work_v upon_o who_o narrow_a neck_n can_v receive_v much_o at_o once_o but_o by_o drop-meale_n and_o all_o through_o that_o unspiritualnesse_n of_o our_o heart_n not_o easy_o capable_a of_o holy_a thing_n a_o crooked_a cry_v some_o do_v not_o look_v upward_o with_o more_o be_v draw_v to_o see_v so_o much_o light_n in_o the_o promise_n as_o win_v affection_n to_o the_o same_o for_o that_o excellent_a pretiousnesse_n gain_n and_o happiness_n which_o it_o hear_v to_o be_v offer_v therein_o but_o in_o time_n it_o see_v not_o only_o so_o much_o but_o more_o close_o also_o apply_v itself_o thereto_o by_o faith_n and_o affiance_n of_o soul_n as_o a_o thing_n in_o special_a offer_v and_o belong_v unto_o herself_o yet_o both_o be_v wrought_v by_o the_o gospel_n and_o neither_o come_v from_o ourselves_o both_o proceed_v from_o free_a grace_n so_o that_o we_o must_v not_o
