coercion_n which_o they_o may_v not_o by_o law_n have_v do_v before_o the_o year_n of_o our_o lord_n 1639._o 2._o nor_o to_o abridge_v or_o diminish_v the_o king_n majesty_n supremacy_n in_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n and_o affair_n nor_o to_o confirm_v the_o canon_n make_v in_o the_o year_n 1640._o nor_o any_o of_o they_o nor_o any_o other_o ecclesiastical_a law_n or_o canon_n not_o in_o 17._o car._n 1._o ca._n 11._o sect._n 4._o herein_o mention_v to_o be_v recite_v in_o the_o say_a act_n of_o 13._o car._n 2._o ca._n 12._o three_o that_o this_o statute_n of_o 13._o car._n 2._o ca._n 12._o as_o appear_v upon_o the_o face_n of_o it_o be_v make_v to_o the_o intent_n the_o ordinary_a jurisdiction_n which_o the_o bishop_n and_o other_o ecclesiastical_a person_n have_v always_o exercise_v under_o the_o crown_n may_v not_o be_v infringe_v but_o not_o to_o restore_v to_o the_o crown_n the_o power_n of_o delegate_a the_o exercise_n of_o ecclesiastical_a jurisdiction_n by_o letter_n patent_n to_o lay_v person_n or_o any_o other_o and_z as_o to_o this_o nothing_o can_v be_v plain_a than_o the_o word_n of_o the_o act_n itself_o sect._n 2._o whereby_o 17._o car._n 1._o be_v repeal_v but_o take_v particular_a care_n to_o except_v what_o concern_v the_o high-commission_n court_n or_o the_o new_a erection_n of_o some_o such_o court_n by_o commission_n neither_o do_v the_o lawmaker_n think_v this_o exception_n in_o that_o statute_n of_o 13._o car._n 2._o ca._n 12._o sect._n 2._o to_o be_v sufficient_a but_o to_o put_v the_o matter_n out_o of_o all_o doubt_n in_o the_o three_o section_n of_o the_o same_o statute_n it_o be_v provide_v and_o enact_v that_o neither_o that_o act_n nor_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v extend_v or_o be_v construe_v to_o revive_v or_o give_v force_n to_o the_o branch_n of_o 1._o eliz._n 1._o sect._n 18._o but_o that_o the_o same_o branch_n shall_v stand_v absolute_o repeal_v and_o if_o so_o then_o the_o power_n of_o the_o crown_n to_o delegate_v the_o exercise_n of_o ecclesiastical_a jurisdiction_n be_v whole_o take_v away_o for_o it_o be_v vest_v in_o the_o crown_n by_o 1_o eliz._n 1._o and_o take_v away_o by_o 17._o car._n 1._o ca._n 11._o and_o be_v in_o no_o manner_n restore_v by_o 13._o car._n 2.12_o or_o any_o other_o but_o there_o may_v arise_v a_o objection_n from_o the_o word_n in_o the_o statute_n of_o 13._o car_fw-fr 2._o ca._n 12._o that_o say_v that_o that_o act_n shall_v not_o extend_v to_o abridge_v or_o diminish_v the_o king_n majesty_n supremacy_n in_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n and_o car._n 1._o ca._n 11._o and_o now_o i_o hope_v i_o have_v sufficient_o evince_v that_o all_o the_o proceed_n before_o the_o ecclesiastical_a commissioner_n be_v coram_fw-la non_fw-fr judice_n and_o therefore_o have_v sufficient_a reason_n to_o believe_v that_o the_o same_o will_v never_o have_v be_v set_v on_o foot_n by_o his_o present_a majesty_n who_o have_v always_o the_o character_n of_o
