already_o in_o many_o instance_n of_o thing_n no_o where_n determine_v by_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n and_o yet_o enjoin_v by_o they_o it_o be_v also_o contrary_a to_o the_o apostle_n practise_v who_o forbid_v the_o use_n of_o thing_n strangle_v and_o blood_n though_o they_o not_o only_o be_v thing_n in_o themselves_o indifferent_a but_o thing_n require_v by_o that_o ceremonial_a law_n from_o which_o our_o lord_n have_v free_v his_o servant_n and_o therefore_o more_o may_v have_v be_v plead_v against_o submit_v unto_o that_o decree_n than_o to_o the_o constitution_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n concern_v other_o thing_n indifferent_a last_o st._n paul_n require_v that_o all_o thing_n which_o relate_v unto_o god_n public_a worship_n of_o which_o he_o there_o discourse_v shall_v be_v do_v decent_o and_o orderly_o but_o how_o shall_v ruler_n be_v able_a to_o order_v matter_n so_o if_o it_o be_v a_o infringement_n of_o our_o christian_a liberty_n to_o have_v any_o thing_n impose_v upon_o we_o by_o our_o governor_n for_o decency_n and_o order_n sake_n particular_a rule_n be_v not_o give_v we_o in_o scripture_n about_o this_o matter_n which_o to_o be_v sure_o will_v have_v be_v do_v be_v they_o not_o leave_v to_o the_o determination_n of_o the_o ruler_n of_o the_o church_n wherefore_o to_o give_v a_o brief_a but_o a_o sufficient_a answer_n to_o the_o objection_n mention_v §_o 4_o 1._o from_o what_o have_v be_v discourse_v it_o be_v evident_a that_o christian_a liberty_n can_v be_v violate_v by_o these_o imposition_n because_o the_o conscience_n be_v oblige_v by_o they_o that_o be_v it_o be_v bind_v to_o yield_v obedience_n to_o they_o when_o they_o be_v impose_v for_o if_o this_o make_v the_o command_n of_o our_o superior_n to_o violate_v our_o christian_a liberty_n then_o 1._o all_o the_o command_v of_o master_n parent_n and_o superior_n respect_v thing_n indifferent_a civil_a or_o sacred_a must_v be_v repugnant_a to_o that_o liberty_n because_o we_o be_v if_o servant_n child_n or_o subject_n oblige_v to_o obey_v they_o in_o all_o lawful_a matter_n even_o for_o conscience_n sake_n 2_o then_o our_o own_o vow_n and_o resolution_n concern_v any_o thing_n indifferent_a must_v violate_v our_o christian_a liberty_n because_o we_o be_v oblige_v in_o conscience_n to_o perform_v they_o 3_o then_o can_v we_o not_o abstain_v from_o any_o thing_n indifferent_a in_o case_n of_o scandal_n as_o st._n paul_n command_v we_o without_o infringe_v of_o our_o christian_a liberty_n because_o our_o conscience_n be_v then_o bind_v for_o law_n must_v violate_v true_a christian_a liberty_n when_o they_o command_v the_o quaker_n to_o pay_v tithe_n for_o he_o not_o only_o doubt_v the_o lawfulness_n thereof_o but_o peremptory_o
