faithful_o ask_v according_a to_o thy_o will_n may_v effectual_o be_v obtain_v to_o the_o relief_n of_o our_o necessity_n and_o to_o the_o set_v forth_o of_o thy_o glory_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n amen_o ¶_o then_o the_o priest_n shall_v let_v they_o depart_v with_o this_o blessing_n the_o peace_n of_o god_n which_o pass_v all_o understanding_n keep_v your_o heart_n and_o mind_n in_o the_o knowledge_n and_o love_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n and_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n almighty_n the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v among_o you_o and_o remain_v with_o you_o always_o amen_n the_o order_n for_o evening_n prayer_n ¶_o let_v he_o that_o minister_v read_v with_o a_o loud_a voice_n these_o sentence_n of_o scripture_n and_o after_o they_o the_o exhortation_n follow_v rend_v your_o heart_n and_o not_o your_o 13_o joel_n 2._o 13_o garment_n and_o turn_v unto_o the_o lord_n your_o god_n for_o he_o be_v in_o sundry_a place_n to_o acknowledge_v and_o confess_v our_o manifold_a sin_n and_o wickedness_n and_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o dissemble_v not_o cloak_v they_o before_o the_o face_n of_o almighty_a god_n our_o heavenly_a father_n but_o confess_v they_o with_o a_o humble_a lowly_a penitent_a and_o obedient_a heart_n to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o may_v obtain_v forgiveness_n of_o the_o same_o by_o his_o infinite_a goodness_n and_o mercy_n and_o although_o we_o ought_v at_o all_o time_n humble_o to_o acknowledge_v our_o sin_n before_o god_n yet_o ought_v we_o most_o chief_o so_o to_o do_v when_o we_o assemble_v and_o meet_v together_o to_o cast_v ourselves_o down_o at_o the_o throne_n of_o his_o heavenly_a grace_n and_o to_o pour_v out_o our_o humble_a supplication_n for_o the_o avert_n of_o his_o judgement_n and_o for_o the_o procure_n of_o his_o blessing_n upon_o our_o sovereign_n and_o his_o kingdom_n to_o render_v thanks_o for_o the_o great_a benefit_n that_o we_o have_v receive_v at_o his_o hand_n to_o set_v forth_o his_o most_o worthy_a praise_n to_o hear_v his_o most_o holy_a word_n and_o to_o ask_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v requisite_a and_o necessary_a as_o well_o for_o the_o body_n as_o the_o soul_n wherefore_o i_o pray_v and_o beseech_v you_o as_o many_o as_o be_v here_o present_a to_o accompany_v i_o with_o a_o pure_a heart_n and_o humble_a voice_n unto_o the_o throne_n of_o the_o heavenly_a grace_n say_v after_o i_o ¶_o the_o confession_n to_o be_v say_v of_o the_o whole_a congregation_n after_o the_o minister_n all_o kneel_v almighty_a and_o most_o merciful_a father_n we_o have_v err_v and_o stray_v from_o thy_o way_n like_v lose_v sheep_n we_o have_v follow_v too_o much_o the_o device_n and_o desire_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n we_o have_v offend_v against_o thy_o holy_a law_n we_o have_v leave_v undo_v those_o thing_n which_o we_o ought_v to_o have_v do_v and_o we_o have_v do_v those_o thing_n which_o we_o ought_v not_o to_o have_v do_v and_o there_o be_v no_o health_n in_o we_o but_o thou_o o_o lord_n have_v mercy_n upon_o we_o miserable_a offender_n spare_v thou_o they_o o_o god_n which_o confess_v their_o fault_n restore_v thou_o they_o that_o be_v penitent_a according_a to_o thy_o promise_n declare_v unto_o mankind_n in_o christ_n jesu_n our_o lord_n and_o grant_v o_o most_o merciful_a father_n for_o his_o sake_n that_o we_o may_v hereafter_o live_v a_o godly_a righteous_a and_o sober_a life_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o thy_o holy_a name_n amen_n ¶_o the_o absolution_n to_o be_v pronounce_v by_o the_o priest_n alone_o standing_z the_o people_n still_o kneel_v almighty_a god_n the_o father_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o desire_v not_o the_o death_n of_o a_o sinner_n but_o rather_o that_o he_o may_v turn_v from_o his_o wickedness_n and_o live_v and_o have_v give_v power_n and_o commandment_n to_o his_o minister_n to_o declare_v and_o pronounce_v to_o his_o people_n be_v penitent_a the_o absolution_n and_o remission_n of_o their_o sin_n he_o pardon_v and_o absolve_v all_o they_o that_o true_o repent_v and_o unfeigned_o believe_v his_o holy_a gospel_n wherefore_o let_v we_o beseech_v he_o to_o grant_v we_o true_a repentance_n and_o his_o holy_a spirit_n that_o those_o thing_n may_v please_v he_o which_o we_o do_v at_o this_o present_a and_o that_o the_o rest_n of_o our_o life_n hereafter_o may_v be_v pure_a and_o holy_a so_o that_o at_o the_o last_o we_o may_v come_v to_o his_o eternal_a joy_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n ¶_o the_o people_n shall_v answer_v here_o and_o at_o the_o end_n of_o all_o other_o prayer_n amen_n ¶_o then_o shall_v the_o minister_n kneel_v and_o say_v the_o lord_n prayer_n the_o people_n also_o repeat_v it_o with_o he_o our_o father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n hallow_a be_v thy_o name_n thy_o kingdom_n come_v thy_o will_v be_v do_v in_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n give_v we_o this_o day_n our_o daily_a bread_n and_o forgive_v we_o our_o trespass_n as_o we_o forgive_v they_o that_o trespass_n against_o we_o and_o lead_v we_o not_o
