there_o be_v a_o great_a disproportion_n between_o mercy_n and_o merit_n in_o both_o respect_v we_o conclude_v that_o the_o gift_n of_o god_n give_v unto_o his_o faithful_a servant_n proceed_v from_o his_o free_a grace_n not_o from_o our_o free_a will_n so_o that_o they_o be_v not_o deserve_v of_o we_o but_o bestow_v upon_o us._n 1_o use_v 1_o this_o doctrine_n be_v thorough_o strengthen_v let_v we_o see_v what_o use_v may_v be_v ground_v from_o thence_o first_o we_o learn_v from_o hence_o that_o see_v god_n give_v not_o by_o desert_n but_o of_o his_o mercy_n that_o whatsoever_o we_o have_v obtain_v and_o receive_v by_o any_o prayer_n or_o other_o mean_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n we_o must_v ascribe_v all_o to_o the_o glory_n and_o praise_n of_o his_o name_n and_o acknowledge_v he_o therefore_o meditate_v upon_o our_o own_o want_n and_o albeit_o we_o use_v those_o help_n and_o instrument_n that_o he_o have_v appoint_v yet_o let_v we_o give_v he_o all_o the_o glory_n to_o who_o it_o be_v whole_o due_a when_o a_o great_a multitude_n of_o enemy_n come_v against_o jehoshaphat_n he_o set_v himself_o to_o seek_v the_o lord_n and_o proclaim_v a_o fast_a through_o out_o all_o
