but_o only_o a_o instrumental_a or_o ministerial_a cause_n but_o the_o devil_n or_o man_n be_v the_o principal_a efficient_a cause_n of_o the_o transgression_n or_o of_o the_o deformity_n or_o sin_n of_o that_o action_n and_o this_o transgression_n the_o efficient_a whereof_o be_v a_o evil_a instrument_n be_v evil_a either_o for_o that_o the_o action_n itself_o or_o sin_n cause_n of_o sin_n work_n be_v contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o when_o a_o man_n commit_v murder_n the_o action_n of_o murder_n be_v express_o sin_n cause_n of_o sin_n condemn_v by_o the_o law_n thou_o work_n a_o example_n of_o this_o kind_n of_o transgression_n may_v be_v this_o when_o any_o man_n give_v alm_n which_o work_n indeed_o be_v command_v of_o god_n and_o yet_o not_o do_v of_o charity_n it_o be_v reject_v see_v 1._o cor._n 13._o or_o last_o it_o fall_v out_o to_o be_v a_o sin_n for_o that_o the_o end_n which_o the_o evil_a instrument_n in_o do_v or_o work_v together_o with_o god_n propose_v to_o itself_o be_v against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n for_o as_o the_o law_n of_o god_n command_v the_o work_n itself_o and_o the_o fountain_n and_o beginning_n of_o the_o work_n even_o so_o it_o command_v the_o end_n as_o the_o chief_a and_o principal_a to_o wit_n the_o glory_n of_o god_n himself_o whether_o you_o eat_v or_o drink_v or_o whatsoever_o you_o do_v do_v all_o to_o the_o permit_v it_o for_o he_o suffer_v it_o to_o be_v do_v by_o a_o evil_a imstrument_n three_o it_o be_v demand_v if_o god_n permit_v sin_n in_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v transgression_n of_o his_o law_n answ_n not_o so_o which_o even_o by_o this_o one_o reason_n may_v be_v show_v he_o permit_v it_o unto_o his_o glory_n and_o all_o the_o mean_n of_o god_n glory_n so_o far_o as_o they_o have_v such_o respect_n be_v good_a and_o darkness_n itself_o as_o it_o be_v permit_v of_o god_n unto_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o name_n become_v light_a again_o if_o here_o it_o be_v ask_v if_o therefore_o the_o transgression_n of_o god_n law_n in_o so_o far_o as_o a_o transgression_n be_v not_o permit_v of_o god_n do_v it_o not_o of_o necessity_n follow_v that_o sin_n in_o respect_n or_o as_o it_o be_v a_o transgression_n of_o the_o law_n be_v not_o do_v against_o any_o decree_n therefore_o sin_n as_o it_o be_v a_o transgression_n of_o the_o law_n be_v not_o do_v against_o god_n will_n the_o be_v do_v of_o evil_a instrument_n in_o the_o first_o place_n be_v both_o ordain_v of_o god_n himself_o and_o direct_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o mercy_n arise_v from_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o creature_n god_n have_v shut_v up_o all_o under_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v have_v mercy_n on_o all_o and_o in_o the_o second_o place_n for_o the_o hardness_n of_o man_n and_o because_o of_o the_o good_a and_o that_o whole_a chain_n of_o mean_n which_o be_v between_o god_n propound_v as_o the_o head_n and_o beginning_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n as_o the_o end_n be_v the_o order_n of_o thing_n which_o either_o by_o themselves_o be_v good_a or_o at_o the_o least_o in_o some_o sort_n may_v be_v so_o account_v for_o those_o two_o extreme_n change_v all_o darkness_n after_o a_o sort_n themselves_o be_v good_a in_o that_o manner_n or_o to_o that_o end_n it_o ought_v whereby_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o those_o thing_n which_o in_o themselves_o be_v good_a yet_o in_o respect_n of_o he_o who_o be_v unregenerate_a become_v evil_a and_o very_a sin_n before_o god_n and_o concern_v thing_n spiritual_a the_o nature_n of_o man_n be_v more_o estrange_v from_o they_o and_o when_o they_o offer_v themselves_o to_o the_o will_n nature_n itself_o do_v whole_o abhor_v from_o they_o this_o thing_n may_v be_v yet_o more_o plain_a by_o example_n &_o experience_n there_o be_v two_o certain_a good_a thing_n to_o wit_n justice_n by_o work_n and_o justice_n by_o faith_n which_o be_v call_v the_o justice_n natural_a righteousness_n by_o work_n natural_a or_o rightcousnes_n of_o god_n we_o all_o have_v experience_n that_o our_o will_n natural_o be_v incline_v to_o that_o righteousness_n which_o be_v by_o work_n and_o which_o be_v a_o certain_a humane_a good_a thing_n hence_o it_o come_v that_o even_o to_o this_o day_n all_o the_o world_n follow_v nature_n seek_v to_o be_v justify_v by_o good_a work_n but_o the_o same_o will_n do_v whole_o abhor_v and_o utter_o dislike_v that_o righteousness_n whichis_n by_o faith_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o it_o be_v a_o certain_a spiritual_a &_o unknown_a good_a thing_n hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o so_o few_o seek_v to_o be_v justify_v by_o faith_n and_o by_o the_o alone_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o jesus_n christ_n by_o this_o and_o other_o such_o like_a example_n it_o appear_v that_o man_n will_n be_v more_o incline_v by_o nature_n to_o humane_a good_a thing_n and_o whole_o to_o abhor_v spiritual_a good_a thing_n albeit_o in_o truth_n to_o speak_v exact_o it_o be_v incline_v to_o no_o good_a at_o all_o as_o it_o be_v true_o good_a it_o be_v not_o incline_v at_o all_o no_o not_o to_o those_o humane_a thing_n as_o they_o be_v true_o good_a and_o acceptable_a unto_o god_n for_o it_o will_v they_o neither_o in_o that_o manner_n neither_o to_o that_o end_n it_o ought_v so_o far_o forth_o then_o as_o it_o will_v they_o even_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a in_o themselves_o be_v sin_n and_o unpleasing_a to_o god_n notwithstanding_o they_o differ_v from_o those_o evil_n and_o sin_n which_o even_o in_o themselves_o &_o in_o their_o own_o nature_n be_v sin_n as_o manslaughter_n adultery_n theft_n and_o in_o which_o i_o grant_v there_o be_v more_o degree_n of_o sin_n for_o in_o these_o thing_n man_n sin_n both_o in_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o thing_n themselves_o and_o in_o the_o manner_n of_o do_v and_o in_o the_o end_n and_o the_o will_n of_o man_n unregenerate_a be_v more_o inclinable_a unto_o these_o thing_n by_o it_o own_o nature_n then_o unto_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v good_a in_o themselves_o for_o first_o it_o be_v carry_v of_o it_o own_o accord_n to_o those_o which_o be_v evil_a in_o themselves_o second_o it_o have_v but_o some_o inclination_n to_o thing_n humane_a which_o in_o their_o own_o kind_n be_v good_a last_o it_o do_v whole_o abhor_v spiritual_a good_a thing_n before_o regeneration_n again_o i_o conclude_v that_o humane_a good_a thing_n so_o far_o forth_o as_o man_n unregenerate_a do_v will_v they_o become_v in_o some_o sort_n evil_a and_o the_o man_n unregenerate_a do_v sin_n in_o the_o very_a desire_n of_o they_o which_o thing_n also_o be_v true_a in_o thing_n indifferent_a which_o be_v neither_o good_a nor_o evil_a in_o themselves_o for_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o man_n unregenerate_a do_v will_v they_o so_o far_o forth_o they_o become_v evil_a and_o the_o unregenerate_a man_n do_v sin_n when_o he_o do_v
