which_o as_o in_o the_o former_a they_o imply_v that_o man_n can_v eat_v his_o flesh_n and_o drink_v his_o blood_n except_o it_o be_v in_o a_o sensible_a be_v present_a with_o they_o nigh_o to_o or_o in_o they_o and_o so_o consequent_o deny_v that_o blood_n of_o his_o cross_n that_o be_v shed_v for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n to_o be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o and_o the_o purger_n of_o the_o conscience_n because_o it_o be_v not_o now_o shed_v and_o so_o as_o much_o deny_v his_o flesh_n that_o be_v break_v and_o the_o prepare_v and_o give_v it_o to_o be_v bruise_v wound_a and_o break_v for_o our_o transgression_n to_o be_v meat_n indeed_o because_o those_o work_n and_o suffering_n therein_o be_v finish_v and_o pass_v and_o not_o do_v or_o to_o be_v do_v over_o again_o in_o that_o person_n or_o any_o other_o and_o so_o can_v be_v in_o a_o present_a or_o sensible_a be_v nigh_o to_o in_o or_o with_o any_o man_n 2._o they_o still_o to_o cast_v reproach_n upon_o it_o further_o imply_v that_o if_o that_o blood_n that_o be_v shed_v be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o and_o so_o consequent_o if_o that_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n be_v meat_n indeed_o than_o the_o eat_n or_o drink_v must_v be_v in_o a_o natural_a or_o sensual_a manner_n like_v as_o natural_a meat_n and_o drink_n be_v eat_v and_o drink_v for_o this_o they_o full_o signify_v the_o blood_n that_o be_v shed_v can_v be_v drink_v except_o in_o its_o material_a be_v it_o be_v in_o christ_n flesh_n or_o somewhere_o else_o nigh_o to_o man_n in_o a_o present_a material_a existence_n for_o if_o that_o blood_n that_o be_v shed_v say_v they_o be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o then_o where_o be_v it_o if_o not_o in_o christ_n flesh_n as_o they_o say_v we_o affirm_v but_o they_o say_v false_o for_o we_o oft_o declare_v that_o as_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v the_o bottom_n ground_n or_o foundation_n of_o our_o faith_n or_o that_o by_o mean_n of_o which_o he_o be_v so_o and_o so_o as_o it_o be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o etc._n etc._n even_o so_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n with_o the_o father_n even_o in_o christ_n personal_a glorious_a body_n but_o that_o be_v not_o in_o a_o material_a and_o mortal_a existence_n or_o be_v of_o it_o in_o his_o flesh_n and_o with_o it_o as_o here_o he_o be_v partaker_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n but_o in_o the_o infinite_a virtue_n and_o preciousness_n of_o its_o be_v shed_v and_o so_o his_o suffering_n once_o suffer_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v for_o ever_o accept_v and_o remember_v with_o the_o father_n and_o his_o body_n glorify_v and_o immeasurable_o fill_v with_o the_o eternal_a spirit_n yea_o he_o therein_o make_v a_o quicken_a spirit_n for_o and_o to_o we_o and_o all_o by_o mean_n of_o his_o death_n the_o virtue_n and_o preciousness_n of_o which_o remain_v for_o ever_o and_o so_o the_o fruit_n of_o it_o and_o grace_n in_o and_o through_o it_o which_o also_o as_o we_o hint_v before_o may_v be_v call_v his_o blood_n as_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o can_v be_v no_o argument_n that_o his_o blood_n be_v in_o his_o flesh_n as_o before_o it_o be_v shed_v for_o as_o so_o it_o be_v in_o a_o material_a be_v in_o his_o flesh_n and_o mix_v with_o it_o it_o can_v be_v drink_v in_o a_o sensual_a or_o natural_a way_n of_o drink_v as_o they_o will_v signify_v it_o must_v if_o that_o be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o it_o be_v rather_o to_o be_v drink_v as_o shed_v and_o power_v out_o for_o we_o we_o read_v of_o eat_a flesh_n with_o the_o blood_n in_o it_o a_o thing_n forbid_v in_o the_o law_n but_o of_o drink_v blood_n in_o the_o flesh_n we_o read_v not_o but_o in_o their_o nonsencical_a language_n yea_o 4._o in_o the_o whole_a of_o this_o question_n they_o imply_v a_o imagination_n that_o there_o be_v some_o other_o blood_n of_o christ_n beside_o that_o which_o be_v shed_v or_o his_o blood_n shed_v and_o death_n once_o suffer_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o that_o that_o other_o blood_n be_v the_o drink_n indeed_o and_o the_o purger_n of_o the_o conscience_n and_o so_o consequent_o that_o there_o be_v some_o other_o flesh_n or_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n beside_o that_o which_o be_v break_v for_o we_o which_o and_o not_o the_o former_a be_v the_o meat_n indeed_o and_o so_o they_o in_o their_o imagination_n make_v void_a his_o once_o suffering_n in_o the_o flesh_n in_o that_o one_o body_n so_o prepare_v for_o he_o as_o before_o as_o of_o no_o abide_a virtue_n or_o efficacy_n with_o the_o father_n for_o the_o take_v away_o our_o sin_n and_o so_o for_o the_o spiritual_a feed_n of_o the_o believer_n now_o to_o this_o they_o render_v the_o cross_n of_o christ_n of_o no_o effect_n that_o they_o may_v lift_v up_o something_o else_o in_o the_o name_n and_o place_n of_o it_o for_o further_a answer_n therefore_o to_o this_o question_n and_o for_o the_o help_n of_o other_o we_o here_o add_v to_o what_o former_a demonstration_n we_o have_v give_v of_o the_o flesh_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v meat_n indeed_o and_o of_o his_o blood_n that_o be_v drink_v indeed_o 1._o that_o there_o be_v no_o other_o flesh_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v meat_n indeed_o but_o that_o one_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n that_o be_v prepare_v give_v and_o break_v for_o we_o even_o his_o flesh_n that_o he_o give_v for_o the_o life_n of_o the_o world_n nor_o any_o other_o blood_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v drink_v indeed_o but_o that_o blood_n or_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n that_o shed_v of_o his_o blood_n and_o pour_a out_o his_o soul_n unto_o death_n which_o he_o once_o suffer_v in_o that_o his_o own_o body_n for_o our_o sin_n without_o which_o we_o can_v have_v have_v no_o remission_n of_o they_o that_o he_o obtain_v by_o it_o plenteous_a redemption_n even_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n may_v therein_o also_o seal_v and_o
