their_o sin_n and_o love_v their_o soul_n but_o a_o perpetual_a shame_n to_o themselves_o which_o join_v with_o their_o sin_n against_o their_o soul_n verse_n 4._o riches_n avail_v not_o in_o the_o day_n of_o wrath_n but_o righteousness_n deliver_v from_o death_n these_o word_n seem_v to_o contain_v a_o anticipation_n or_o prevent_v of_o a_o objection_n which_o may_v be_v move_v against_o the_o latter_a point_n of_o the_o former_a verse_n what_o speak_v you_o of_o destruction_n to_o come_v upon_o wicked_a man_n i_o trust_v you_o will_v not_o extend_v it_o to_o all_o for_o many_o of_o they_o be_v substantial_a wealthy_a man_n of_o great_a state_n and_o ability_n who_o can_v destroy_v they_o what_o shall_v their_o power_n and_o riches_n do_v the_o while_n to_o this_o it_o be_v here_o answer_v that_o riches_n avail_v not_o in_o the_o day_n of_o wrath_n their_o wealth_n can_v neither_o withstand_v the_o stroke_n of_o god_n nor_o lessen_v they_o nor_o make_v they_o any_o whit_n the_o more_o able_a to_o bear_v they_o when_o his_o anger_n do_v execute_v judgement_n and_o when_o his_o judgement_n declare_v his_o anger_n but_o righteousness_n be_v that_o which_o deliver_v from_o death_n and_o all_o other_o misery_n that_o the_o sting_n thereof_o shall_v never_o make_v any_o man_n miserable_a see_v the_o more_o full_a handle_n and_o prosecution_n of_o these_o word_n in_o the_o prosperous_a in_o it_o to_o the_o which_o again_o be_v oppose_v the_o way_n of_o the_o wicked_a even_o their_o own_o sinful_a course_n of_o life_n be_v crooked_a and_o crag_v and_o rough_a and_o rugged_a and_o full_a of_o manifold_a peril_n wherein_o at_o the_o last_o they_o fall_v and_o perish_v doct._n godly_a man_n have_v not_o only_o a_o commandment_n but_o ability_n give_v unto_o they_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o law_n of_o god_n their_o faithfulness_n do_v level_v their_o way_n and_o pave_v it_o before_o they_o wherein_o they_o find_v not_o only_a equity_n but_o ease_n also_o with_o delight_n and_o safety_n and_o so_o much_o the_o prophet_n do_v intimate_v when_o he_o say_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v righteous_a and_o the_o just_a shall_v walk_v in_o they_o but_o the_o himself_o both_o by_o grace_n and_o providence_n do_v help_v they_o in_o this_o work_n he_o give_v virtue_n and_o power_n to_o the_o ministry_n of_o his_o word_n to_o prepare_v a_o way_n between_o himself_o and_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o people_n that_o there_o may_v be_v a_o intercourse_n for_o one_o to_o come_v mutual_o to_o the_o other_o as_o s._n luke_n testify_v every_o valley_n shall_v
