the_o iniquity_n of_o the_o father_n upon_o the_o child_n unto_o the_o three_o and_o four_o generation_n of_o they_o that_o hate_v i_o what_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o this_o reason_n that_o he_o will_v visit_v such_o as_o howsoever_o pretend_v love_n do_v thus_o declare_v their_o hatred_n of_o he_o and_o punish_v they_o both_o in_o themselves_o and_o their_o child_n to_o many_o generation_n what_o do_v god_n mean_a when_o he_o say_v that_o he_o will_v visit_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o father_n upon_o the_o child_n two_o thing_n 1._o that_o he_o will_v inquire_v and_o search_v whether_o he_o can_v find_v any_o of_o the_o parent_n sin_n and_o especial_o their_o idolatry_n in_o their_o child_n continue_v in_o their_o father_n sin_n and_o that_o if_o he_o do_v he_o will_v remember_v the_o same_o in_o the_o punishment_n of_o they_o what_o be_v we_o to_o learn_v from_o hence_o 1._o that_o howsoever_o god_n for_o a_o time_n do_v seem_v not_o to_o regard_v our_o sin_n yet_o he_o do_v both_o see_v they_o and_o in_o his_o due_a time_n will_v punish_v they_o if_o we_o do_v not_o repent_v 2._o that_o neither_o the_o example_n of_o our_o parent_n nor_o any_o other_o that_o do_v amiss_o can_v be_v god_n the_o depth_n whereof_o be_v past_o find_v out_o do_v with_o equity_n disinherit_v and_o put_v to_o shame_v the_o posterity_n of_o traitor_n the_o lord_n may_v much_o more_o just_o do_v the_o like_a with_o the_o wicked_a child_n which_o follow_v his_o father_n step_n and_o be_v a_o traitor_n himself_o have_v both_o his_o father_n sin_n and_o his_o own_o upon_o his_o head_n for_o god_n here_o only_o threaten_v to_o punish_v those_o child_n which_o continue_v in_o their_o father_n sin_n and_o therefore_o as_o they_o have_v part_n in_o their_o father_n sin_n so_o it_o be_v reason_n they_o shall_v have_v part_n in_o their_o parent_n punishment_n what_o do_v god_n mean_a by_o the_o three_o and_o four_o generation_n he_o mean_v that_o not_o only_o the_o next_o child_n but_o the_o
