3._o b._n 4.2_o where_o no_o mayor_n be_v shall_v return_v other_o than_o those_o which_o be_v choose_v by_o the_o citizen_n and_o burgess_n of_o the_o city_n or_o borough_n where_o such_o election_n be_v shall_v incur_v and_o forfeit_v to_o the_o king_n forty_o pound_n and_o moreover_o shall_v forfeit_v to_o every_o person_n hereafter_o choose_v citizen_n or_o burgess_n to_o come_v to_o parliament_n and_o not_o by_o the_o same_o mayor_n or_o bailiff_n etc._n etc._n return_v or_o to_o any_o other_o person_n that_o will_v sue_v for_o it_o forty_o pound_n that_o such_o vote_n shall_v be_v deem_v legal_a n-ab_n 2._o g._n 2._o c._n 24._o ibid._n sect._n 2._o what_o vote_n shall_v be_v deem_v legal_a which_o have_v be_v so_o declare_v by_o the_o last_o determination_n in_o the_o ask_v receive_v sect._n 4._o person_n take_v money_n or_o reward_n for_o their_o vote_n etc._n etc._n or_o take_v any_o money_n or_o other_o reward_n by_o way_n of_o gift_n loan_n or_o other_o device_n or_o agree_v or_o contract_n for_o any_o money_n gift_n office_n employment_n or_o other_o reward_n whatsoever_o to_o give_v his_o vote_n or_o to_o refuse_v or_o forbear_v to_o give_v his_o vote_n or_o if_o any_o person_n by_o himself_o or_o any_o employ_v by_o he_o shall_v by_o any_o gift_n or_o reward_n or_o by_o any_o promise_n agreement_n or_o security_n for_o any_o gift_n or_o reward_n corrupt_a or_o procure_v any_o person_n to_o give_v his_o vote_n or_o to_o forbear_v to_o give_v his_o vote_n in_o any_o such_o election_n such_o person_n shall_v for_o every_o such_o offence_n forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o hundred_o pound_n on_o conviction_n forfeit_v 500_o pomell_n with_o full_a cost_v of_o suit_n and_o every_o such_o person_n after_o judgement_n obtain_v against_o he_o in_o any_o action_n of_o debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o information_n or_o summary_n action_n or_o prosecution_n or_o be_v any_o otherwise_o lawful_o convict_v thereof_o shall_v for_o ever_o be_v disable_v to_o vote_n in_o any_o election_n to_o parliament_n and_o also_o to_o hold_v exercise_n and_o disable_v to_o vote_n or_o to_o enjoy_v any_o office_n or_o franchise_n or_o enjoy_v any_o office_n or_o franchise_n to_o which_o he_o and_o they_o then_o shall_v or_o at_o any_o time_n afterward_o may_v be_v entitle_v as_o a_o member_n of_o any_o city_n borough_n town_n corporate_a or_o cinqueport_n as_o if_o such_o person_n be_v natural_o dead_a and_o that_o if_o any_o person_n offend_v against_o this_o act_n sect._n 5._o offender_n in_o 12._o month_n after_o the_o election_n discover_v other_o in_o femnify_v shall_v within_o twelve_o month_n after_o such_o election_n discover_v any_o other_o person_n offend_v against_o this_o act_n so_o
